• Ann (8/5): - No toiletries supplied (say they are included in amenities). Couldn't open a number of windows due to having NO flyscreens. Nothing to put luggage on other than the floor.

• Kerry (10/5): - We came to do walking in the south east of Tasmania and to see the auroa australia. We were able to do both even though the weather was a bit of everything. A lovely deck overlooking the beach and sea. A nice pub 5 mins walk up the road so we didnt have to cook dinner. A really peaceful and quiet area.

• Christopher (10/5): Ideal relaxing getaway, dogs loved this place - Perfect location, instant access to the beach, great fenced yard for our two dogs. Extremely relaxing setting. Loved sitting down to a barbecued breakfast, lunch or dinner on the deck taking in the glorious views. Will definitely stay again.
• Stephanie (4/5): - Location is great but the properties facilities are outdated to the point of looking unclean which made the stay unenjoyable. No washing powder or close outlets to get any and no washing basket to take things out to the clothesline.

• Lee (10/5): Long weekend getaway. - We have stayed here several times as it is dog friendly with a safe and secure yard and right on the beach. We always enjoy our stay. The property is clean and comfortable although the bbq has probably seen better days and should be removed or replaced. We left a note for cleaner regarding this and that two bulbs in the kitchen needed replacing.

A few house keeping issues could be addressed, strong odour from back yard, maybe broken pipe?, wonky toilet seat and could do with more cutlery, utensils and a few cooking appliances

• Gary (8/5): Good could be great - Overall a good stay. The view was amazing. The beach house was equipped with everything you needed but all things were a little bit dated. The only thing keeping it from being excellent is a little bit of TLC. Overall enjoyed our stay and would recommend both the beach house and the area. Plenty to do and see.

• Lee (10/5): Couple with dog - We stayed two nights. Check in is via a code to unlock the safety box with the key. There were no issues with this. The EHN Beach House is the quintessential beach house from your childhood. While the house itself is just a basic brick house it is very comfortable and the yard is fenced well, making it safe for dogs and kids. There's a lovely balcony that bathes in the morning sun and easy access to the beach at the bottom of the yard through a gate in the fence. The beach is dog friendly, on lead directly in front of the beach house and goes to off lead about 100 metres down the beach. We wanted to stay another night but it was booked. We slept with the bedroom window open to hear the ocean - bliss.
• Hollie (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay, so nice to find accommodation that the whole family could enjoy, including the dog! Large fully fenced backyard which the kids (and dog) loved. But the best part of of was the location, a stones throw from the beach and Tessellated Pavement. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!
• Maree (6/5): Great view and beach access. - The house was comfortable and tidy although a tad tired. The view and beach access are amazing. Magical location and we were grateful for pet friendliness. The overall cleanliness however was not of a good standard. We found a used tissue in the lounge room; a cleaning cloth left in the bathroom; we washed our dishes and utensils before using them as nothing seemed quite clean enough. The chopping board obviously wasn't cleaned from previous guests and frankly needs replacing as it is unhygienic. Asking guest to wash up in one thing but this needs to be checked. We left a note for the cleaner. The place needs a good spring clean and some TLC. We would stay again but not at the current nightly rate.

The fixtures and furnishings are a bit dated except for a new fridge. It’s a few minutes walk up the road to a local pub that serves excellent meals. Heaps of tourist attractions and places of interest nearby and Port Arthur about 20 minutes away. For a short stay without any glam it’s a good spot
