D'ora in poi sarà il mio Hotel a Roma per andare al Teatro dell'Opera, si trova a due passi in un Palazzo d'epoca. La cosa più bella di questo Hotel è il silenzio e la tranquillità! Nulla.

• ELEFTHERIOS (8/5): - Well located, with easy access to the city center and Termini Station. The reception staff were polite and always ready to help. Cleanliness throughout the hotel was good. The building is old, as expected for this type of property, and it seems likely that a renovation may be planned in the future.
• Christiane (8/5): - The personal wae exceptional helpfull and nice. I arrived after a long flight from Australia early in the day. They had my room ready and I could check in straight away. The reception was very helpful when I had trouble with a cancellation of a flight. The Breakfast was very good and all the Staff very friendly. I am solo traveller and happy about little chats.

• Isabelle (9/5): - Un grand merci à Alexandra pour son accueil très chaleureux, l'immeuble est magnifique et rafraîchissant, la chambre est extrêmement propre, le personnel vraiment gentil et souriant. L'emplacement de l'hôtel parfait pour visiter, même si vous avez du mal à marcher, le métro et les bus sont juste à côté de l'hôtel. L'ascenseur est le bienvenu pour les bagages ou le mal de pied après une longue journée de marche. Je suis vraiment ravie de mon séjour . J'envisage de revenir à l'hôtel Gea . 😍 Et de la part d'une parisienne : félicitations pour les croissants du matin 🥐 La douche un peu plus grande serait bienvenue pour les personnes âgées ou de fortes corpulences.

• Martin (9/5): Great base in Rome - The hotel is in a convenient location to the Termini station and we were able to leave our cases in the morning to allow us to have a full day exploring Rome. Everywhere was was walking distance for us. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had booked a room for 4 adults and the room was more of an apartment with 2 bedrooms and an area with a table and 4 chairs. The bathroom was well equipped and the shower was really powerful. The breakfast was really good, with ham, salami, cheese bread, yoghurt, fruit and some really good croissants and of course coffee. The apartment had a slightly musty smell and they were cleaning the street outside first with a street sweeper around midnight, then a kettle later with a jet washer at 1am. The hotel did provide ear plugs so obviously a common occurrence.

• Helen (9/5): Very happy to return one day - Hotel Gea di Vulcano is a traditional hotel. It is not glamorous but is very comfortable and makes for a wonderful stay in Rome. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. The hotel is at the rear of the building, away from traffic noise, and my room had plenty of natural light. I was able to check in early and my room was upgraded. Most importantly the owner and staff are kind and welcoming. My stay was brief but I would not hesitate to return.

• abel (10/5): Lovely stay. - Hotel was very clean and in a good location. Walking distance to many attractions. The room is stayed in was cleaned every day, the bed was comfortable and it was spacious for being a single room. Alessandra at front desk was very helpful and extremely nice. She adds value to this hotel. The entry system is a little tricky at first but once you understand it, it becomes easy. The breakfast is good and simple but was the same each morning I was there. Do not expect a western style breakfast.

• Gigliotti (10/5): - L'emplacement: le colisee est à 17 min à pied et 20min pour la fontaine de trevi la gare est à 10 min. Le déjeuner est correct , mateo réception est très sympa et nous a donné tous les détails en arrivant. Le frigo dans la chambre est bienvenu avec bouteilles d eau gratuites à l intérieure. On a eu un petit soucis durant le séjour avec l' eau chaude mais le réceptionniste nous a changé immédiatement dans une chambre superieure a la notre et ils ont fait un geste en nous offrant la taxe de séjour entier C'était très sympa de leur part .

• Elisabeth (9/5): Absolute gem of a place for families - We rented the quadruple room which is absolutely perfect for a family, two rooms (one with two singles together to make a double bed and one with two singles) and a bathroom, along with a little kitchenette type sink and fridge in the entranceway. The room is stunning with it's curved ceiling and we even had access through a side street door which made it feel very much like a private apartment rather than a hotel room. The staff are lovely and so helpful, they even helped with cases and gave us tips on where to eat and a map of the area. Breakfast was really nice, good coffees and a wonderful selection of warmed pastries. There were also cereals, bread/toast and cheese, ham etc - a really nice Italian-continental type selection. Would absolutely come back here in a heartbeat next time we come to Rome, it's a fabulous little place with great transport links and wonderful people running it, I actually can't recommend it highly enough and if I could give it more stars I would! I am honestly really struggling to think of anything that wasn't lovely about this place, I mean they even left us earplugs incase the street noise was too much - it wasn't in any way loud, but how thoughtful! I loved this place, not a pretentious place like some hotels but beautifully clean and thoughtfully run, rooms made up every day and lovely food.

La dame de la réception et celle du petit déjeuner étaient très agréables et serviables. Bon emplacement proche métro et fontaine de Trevi. Moisissure dans la salle de bain. Chambre proche d'un placard de ménage et sur le passage pour aller au petit déjeuner, du coup du bruit le matin tôt.
