Guest Reviews
- Eirwen (8/5): Weekend treat - Was a nice weekend treat but it just lacked the ‘wow’ factor that you get with other high end establishments.
It was expensive for what you get.
- CG (10/5): - Lovely room and spectacular views. Definitely worth booking a room if you are having an evenimg meal. Most enjoyable.
- Jeremy (10/5): Lovely location - Very nice hotel and restaurant located on Penarth seafront. We had a very comfortable stay and enjoyed our time in Penarth.
If you wish to eat at the restaurant you should book a table at least a month in advance. I didn’t and disappointingly the restaurant was fully booked.
We now have an excuse to return!
No WiFi signal in our room (5)
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great view. Nicely furnished room. Great welcome. Good position on seafront but a bit of a hike uphill to town
- Katherine (8/5): One night stay 😊 - Lovely accommodation. Gorgeous breakfast. The only niggle is the 4pm check in. No other complaints and we felt very welcome.
- Rich (10/5): Fantastic Find - This is a fantastic find. If you haven’t eaten in the restaurant you must, but the rooms are just as good. New, beautiful decorated, wonderful Sea view and breakfast was Mmmm
- Lee (10/5): Outstanding - will be back. - Amazing evening and overnight - I am fortunate enough to eat in Michelin starred restaurants most weeks, so am very familiar with this standard of dining... but am compelled to say that this venue was a glass apart, the food, the service and the atmosphere. Well done! Comfortable and spacious rooms wonderful views.
- Sarah (10/5): - Quiet peaceful relaxed hotel very welcoming
- Jenny (10/5): Excellent food. - The food was amazing, the view of the sea lovely, the room very comfortable.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very enjoyable stay - We were booked to eat in the restuarant and decided we wanted to be able to enjoy the pairing wines so booked a room.
The room had a beautiful sea view, was very clean and comfortable. Some of the window handles were broken but you could still open and close them. The staff are lovely and very welcoming. Would definitely recommend, and make sure you book into the restuarant to as the food is out of this world!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great hotel in good location. Our only concern was the room radiator did not adjust which was uncomfortable overnight
- David (10/5): Lovely weekend in Penarth - This was the first time we had stayed at the hotel and made the decision to upgrade our room for one with a sea view - it was well worth the extra!
The room was extremely well presented and comfortable. Unfortunately, we didn't get the opportunity to have dinner in the restaurant but breakfast was good. The staff were all friendly and attentive without being over powering.
