• LINDO VITTORIO (6/5): - Ho soggiornato in questo B&B con aspettative piuttosto alte, viste le recensioni positive e il prezzo non proprio economico, ma purtroppo l’esperienza è stata deludente. Uno degli aspetti più negativi è stata la totale mancanza di chiarezza riguardo al bagno: nella descrizione non era specificato che non fosse in camera, cosa che ritengo fondamentale e che ha inciso molto sul comfort del soggiorno. La struttura nel complesso era pulita, ma gli arredi risultano decisamente datati e poco curati. Anche il palazzo in cui si trova il B&B è piuttosto malandato e non contribuisce certo a creare una buona prima impressione. Considerando il prezzo richiesto e le recensioni lette, mi aspettavo decisamente di più. Purtroppo il rapporto qualità-prezzo non è adeguato e l’esperienza non è stata all’altezza delle aspettative.

The private bathroom was located outside the room and had to be accessed with a key, which was not disclosed at the time of booking and is unacceptable. The breakfast offering was also very poor, consisting of just a single croissant.

Le camere sono spaziose, pulite e ben arieggiate. La colazione è informale (alcuni ospiti rimanevano in pigiama!) ed in linea con gli altri B&B. I gestori fanno arrivare anche i cornetti appena sfornati dal panificio. Il prezzo è in linea con i prezzi (pazzi) di Roma! Penso che ci ritornerò con piacere!

Czułam sie zaopiekowana już od pierwszego momentu, jak tylko przyjechałam, zupełnie jak odwiedziny u rodziny. Lokalizacja świetna, kilka kroków do metra, autobusu, supermarket tuż za rogiem.. Na lotnisko bezposredni autobus 10 min od hotelu. Pokoje czyste, zadbane duże. Otrzymałam mapkę z najważniejszymi zabytkami, Aneta zaznaczyła nam, jak dojechać, poradzila jakie bilety kupić na komunikację miejska. Lokalne gastronomiczne polecane z bardzo dobrym jedzeniem. Anetko i Simone wielkie dzięki za wszystko 🥰. Pozdrawiam.

• Ingrid (10/5): Everything was absolutely fine – the accommodation was clean and quiet, with plenty of clean towels, a very kind and hel - Excellent location, just a few minutes’ walk from the Vatican and very close to the metro. The accommodation is well equipped, with the possibility to make coffee and tea, and the breakfast was more than sufficient. The host was extremely kind and helpful and even allowed us to check in early in the morning, which we really appreciated. The place was quiet, very clean, and comfortable. We felt truly welcomed and would happily stay here again. Everything was absolutely fine. The towels were clean and there were plenty of them, which we really appreciated. The only small thing we missed was shower gel, but otherwise everything was perfect

Ménage quotidien et changement de draps et serviettes même pour un séjour de 5 nuits, c'est un plus. Petit déjeuner basique mais suffisant pour nous pour bien démarrer la journée. Les chambres sont proches de la cuisine ouverte, du coup il peut y avoir des bruits tôt le matin.

Location was within walking distance to some of the main attractions. Property felt safe. My only feedback would be on the mainfloor doorlock where is unique that a picture be made on how to use it.

Good options for going to the center, near bus and metro stations. Some slippers could be usefull, especially in the colder seasons.

• Bruce (10/5): - I have never had such wonderful hosts/managers in my domestic and international travels of 45 years. Simone and Anette were there to make absolutely sure to make their guests feel taken care of. I am a social person and at a midday point they were both there with me and a small family sharing life experiences for 45 minutes. What a great experience. But there was a shy couple and our hosts were sensitive to their desire to just come and go quietly. With only four rooms they are only there for several hours a day but can be easily reached with a phone call. I was free to go to my daily plans after having my coissant and espresso. The fridge was available 24 hours a day for fruit, juice and yogurt. It is a rather simple place, but well stocked, 3 minutes to the Metro and very thoughtful extras. I cannot say more about my experience at Old Kitchen. So glad I found them! Bruce P.S. I made a one time mistake of leaving my backpack in a taxi. Simone was willing to call around to all the taxi complanies to find it. I said no because I had my most important stuff and didn't want to waste the last 36 hours of my vacation.
• anna (10/5): - Our stay at the Old Kitchen Vatican was great. The area is safe . It is a 25min walk to the start of the major attractions . 10 min walk to the Vatican. 2mins to the metro. The area is full of cafes restaurants and shopping.The apartment has a shared entrance and kitchen which is stocked with bread fruit cheese and juices. Fresh croissants are delivered daily. Like everywhere in Rome the facilities are old but charming and extremely clean. There is an elevator. Annette and Simone are wonderful hosts. They answer in a timely fashion are considerate and fair. I would not hesitate to book again.
