- Hannah (6/5): - Very disappointed. I did not like being welcomed by a gigantic political painted sign on the outside of the building (it wasn’t graffiti). The entry courtyard is dim. The decor in the room we had didn’t match at all and wasn’t in the best shape. The bathroom was very dark with all black tile on every wall and in the shower. We had a sliver of soap at the sink and one body wash in the shower to use for everything, I guess. Just wasn’t a welcoming environment. The person who checked us in seemed to be going through the motions. I expected a lot more of this hotel and was disappointed.
- Elisa (6/5): Okay for short term, ants in room - It was an okay place to stay. The location was very central and easy to walk to from the train station. Check-in was quick and staff was very friendly. The room was fine when we checked in but I later noticed so many ants crawling everywhere, especially in the bathroom. The electronic lock also didn't work for our room but luckily they have a physical key for us to use instead. The AC also didn't work but at least there was a ceiling fan and it wasn't too hot. Also no fridge in the room. It was fine for the one night we needed but I wouldn't recommend this spot to my friends.

- Verified traveler (10/5): A beautiful hideaway - Fantastic little hotel, we had room 15 and we were greeted with a hammock in our indoor balcony.. . The room had style, the bed so comfy, a silent room and a peaceful night's sleep. The owners are super friendly and helpful. We only had a one stay on passing through, but without doubt we would return if we're ever in Faro again

We didn't get to enjoy the breakfast as our flight left in the morning and they were not able to make any allowances for us in terms of food, which was kind of a bummer.

Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. As we had to leave very early , they prepared a sandwich and cake for us in advance. We walked everywhere and it’s very convenient . Just behind sushimundo square with the giant electric Christmas tree . Will definitively recommend .

- Barbara (10/5): Wonderful place to stay! - Lemon Tree Stay is beautiful. We had the top floor room with our own private balcony as well as access to the communal balcony. There is a lemon tree and a flowering bush in the coutyard that smells amazing at night. Breakfast was vey good. The scrambled eggs were excellent. It was nice to be able to use the communal kitchen and get tea and coffee at any time.

There is beautiful seating not only for relaxing but for breakfast service as well. Breakfast was incredible. Staff were super friendly. It felt like home. They had information and booked trips and were happy to help with anything at all. There's access to their kitchen too for drinks. The room was brand new and immaculately done. Nice and modern, esp. the bathroom. AC worked well. Our particular room was a little tight but it all worked out and we would definitely recommend and definitely stay here again.

- Patricia (8/5): Good Vibe Going - Would have loved the Lemon Tree if we weren’t a 75 year old couple. The room was very small but comfortable and we missed an elevator. On the pluses it’s in a great location, kind of an upscale hostel feel with nice rooftop area to enjoy a drink.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Tea and coffee freely available in a small kitchen with an honesty bar (water, beer, red and white wine, and ice cream). Location in the centre very quiet and a short (10 min or less) walk to the Old Town, harbour, and other tourist attractions. Roof top terrace completed a delightful experience. Highly recommended.

Issa was very helpful she served us coffee and cake when she checked us in and gave us a bunch of suggestions on a map. There's free bikes to rent as well. The breakfast was amazing I highly recommend staying here if you're in town!
- Katie (8/5): - Breakfast was not my favorite but they did well at trying to make it homemadish. With the outdoor areas were cleaner and more set up. The staff were really nice!
- WBRUCE (6/5): - It’s probably not fair that I complain about climbing 3 flights of stairs with luggage after injuring my leg during our trip to Portugal but that became an issue for me. I needed ice for my leg as well and the ice machine was broken. Otherwise the place was very clean and pleasant with an outdoor balcony. The biggest problem is that this place was very difficult to find by both the driver who dropped us off, as well as, most importantly the driver who was picking us up to drop us at the airport. The staff was very courteous and as helpful as they could be like many people in Portugal.

- Michael (10/5): - Lemontree is a small B&B very close to the Old Town so easy walking. Tahis and the other employees there make it like a family experience. I was able to relax there in the patio for a couple hours after check out to await my train.

Also the sliding bathroom door was quite noisy. Lovely area with the lemon tree for sitting in for breakfast. Would recommend.

- Iqbal (10/5): - The hotel itself was nice, we enjoyed the artistic, tasteful design, and of course the lemon tree. But BY FAR the best thing was the staff. They were absolutely phenomenal, throughout the entire booking process, and stay. They were super quick and thorough with there email responses to all my questions. They made sure everything was taken care of, from start to finish, and made us feel extremely comfortable, well looked after. Couldn't recommend this place more highly! Thank you to Tais, Rita, and all the other staff :)
- John (4/5): Only stay here if you absolutely do not need WI-FI - Do not recommend this hotel as I was there for 3 days and 2 nights and they had NO WI-FI the entire time. They only said that they were looking into it. Not acceptable for a hotel in 2023 to have no WI-FI. I had to go out and Wi-Fi to make travel arrangements.
- Virginia (10/5): - Loved it....the staff were so helpful with local info....breakfast was great and 24hr use of kitchen was a bonus....location was perfect for walking everywhere.....shopping, Old Town, the Marina, boat tours within minutes....easy to navigate....i'm travelling on, but glad i opted to wait until leaving to get a rental car....parking is tight in the area amd because everything is so close, having a car while staying in Faro,would have been a burden to me......i would dedinitely stay here again...and use their airport transport service..i left my handbag in the vehicle when being dropped off, and the driver returned it to me immediately..EVERYTHING important was in it..my passport, $$....it could have been devastating...sooooo grateful

Everything about the building — covered courtyard, room balcony, rooftop terraces — brings the outside in. The breakfast was fresh and generous. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would live here if I could!

This place is perfectly appointed, check in was so easy and amazing, and you have anything you need. Be pleasantly prepared to experience Ritz Carlton style service! Vasco the owner is absolutely amazing and truly cares about all his guests. Wonderful, wonderful place. Wish we could have stayed longer. Panda the dog was an added bonus and made us feel right at home. Thank you, Lemon Tree Stay!!!

- Iain (10/5): Faro stay - Slightly tricky to find, but once you get there, it's a terrific place to stay in Faro. Very central to the marina area and the staff couldn't have been more helpful in communication with us about arrival times etc- and they even packed us up with a lovely breakfast sandwich and cake when we had to leave early the next morning. Will happily return

The European breakfast each morning was excellent and we made full use of the 'honesty bar' and roof top areas in the evenings. Super room with comfortable bed and wonderful shower. Wouldn't consider anywhere else if returning to Faro.
