• Roussel (8/5): Bonne expérience à Tokyo - Je voulais essayer les capsules au moins une fois au Japon, je n'ai pas été déçue ! Tout est très propre, les espaces hommes et femmes bien séparés. Les salles communes sont très bien aménagées. La salle de bain est aussi très belle et contient un bain japonais. Il ne faut pas être trop grand pour dormir dans la capsule. Seul bémol : les capsules se ferment avec un store et certaines voyageuses manquaient de discrétion donc je n'ai pas beaucoup dormi.

Surprisingly, beds/pillows were quite comfortable, and all amenities available including shampoo/conditioner/body wash/Qtips/razors/brush/wash cloths and more at no additional charge. Great stay for night, but prefer to sleep with spouse for anything longer than one night.

• Verified traveler (10/5): 清潔、綺麗でホテルのようなカプセルホテル - まだ新しく綺麗で落ち着くホテルでした。ロビーはカプセルホテルと言うより普通のホテルの感じです。 服・荷物などロッカールームに入れて管理するスタイルです。ロッカーは中敷きがあり、上下2段に入れれるため、荷物を入れやすい工夫がみられました。ただ、コートなど長いものを入れれるようなスペースもありますが、中敷きに穴を開けたタイプでちょっと幅が狭いかも.. 館内は下足を下足用ロッカーに入れるタイプでしたが、靴の高さしかなかったので、ブーツ等長いものを入れれないため、女性等は気を付けたほうがよいです。 トイレはロッカーから絨毯が続いた形のため、気になる人は気になるかも(汚れても綺麗にしにくいのでは!?) .. 特に汚れなど気になる個所はありませんでしたが。

• Katie (10/5): Perfect private capsule for solo female traveller - I am a solo female traveller, and stayed for 6 nights in a private capsule. Everything about this place exceeded my expectations. The airline lost my luggage for one night but it didn’t matter as they had everything I needed. The bath was a welcome relief after lots of walking every day around Tokyo. And don’t let the open bathroom put you off. In the 6 nights I encountered once woman having a bath whilst I showered and that was it. It’s also very normal in Japan and nobody takes notice of everyone else. For more than one night stay I would recommend the private capsule as you have your own space. Location was fantastic also and a short walk from akihabara station.

• Zeno (10/5): - This is my 1st experience with capsule hotel. Actually it’s better than I expected! Clean, no bad smell, helpful staffs, great facilities. The capsule is actually bigger than I expected. I am 172cm tall, I can sit inside without hitting the ceiling and had enough room for legs. The bunker is true to photos and very cozy. Not hot at all, it has a fan system you can turn it on or off. Light can be dim as well. The bed is thin but soft enough. 6 individual restrooms each floor. Locker is a bit narrow, big stuffs need to put at lobby but keep in mind that the storage is a public area with slide doors, only using a wire with a lock to secure your stuffs. Free drinks and magazines in mingling area outside the bathing room. Laundry machines are provided. 2 things I don’t like. One is the doors are noisy when people come in and out. It might be annoying if you sleep close to the doors. Second is the check-in time is 17:00. It’s way too late and inconvenient. You can pay 1000yen for 14:00 check-in which I did... check out time is 10:00 and you can have a few hours more if you pay another 1000yen. Anyway, I enjoyed my stay very much and will recommend everyone who wants to stay in capsule hotel.

The only other thing I did not care for was the “fan” in the capsule did not actually blow out, or at least I could not feel it at all. Overall, this is a great place to go to experience a capsule hotel, but it is definitely lacking in multiple areas.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - This is a good place to stay at if you travel light. Lockers can be too small for bigger luggages. They will have to be left in the lobby lockers instead. Going through your belongings can also be quite a hassle due to small area. The capsule itself is clean and cozy. It does get stuffy at night because of minimal airflow. Amenities such as shower are on a different floor. They do have a late check in time, but you can leave your belongings with them and go off exploring. I will definitely stay there again.

• Christine (10/5): Clean, spacious, relaxing capsule, well located! - We tried this capsule hotel by Akihabara and were so impressed by it. It is like a five-star capsule hotel. The whole hotel has a very trendy modern style which is also very zen and relaxing atmosphere. All was done to be convenient: you check in and put your shoes in mini shoe locker and get little slippers. They give you a bracelet that gives you access to your floor and to the shower and lounge areas. The capsules were extremely comfortable, spacious and super high tech (remote for light, TV, incorporated USB chargers). Each capsule has one designated locker for storing bags and other stuff safely. The hotel facilities were extremely clean!! and we appreciated the free high tech coffee machine making anything you want in the lounge. The whole hotel smells so good. We had a comfy and fantastic stay. Location is super convenient as it is only 2-3 minutes walk to Akihabara station and 1-minute walk to a Don quijote open all night for late shoppers. In the morning they even offered to keep our luggage for free for the day. If I could give more than 5 stars to this capsule hotel I would!

Everything is provided to you be it towel, shampoo, slippers, etc. there is even a locker for you to keep your stuff. It would be perfect if the room where people store their stuff is bigger. Overall, it was a very decent and comfy stay.
• KC (8/5): Nice hotel in the heart of akihabara - This review is about the private capsule that I stayed in. The hotel is located between the metro stations of akihabara and suehirocho. Very convenient to choose either to take the metro or the JR lines, since the akihabara station has the JR lines next to it. Be aware of the later check-in time of this capsule hotel before booking, which was 5pm. The capsule hotel is beautiful inside and out. Walking in immediately there's plenty of storage space hidden-ish in the lobby to store med-large sized luggage. Heading onto the floors of their capsule unit, there are storage lockers and bathrooms right outside the elevators. The private capsule I stayed in had its own separate luggage storage space. There's a non-locking sliding door that separates the private capsule from the more communal ones. The capsule bed itself was comfy and had a TV screen & headphones (though I didn't use it much). There are more than enough wall plugs to charge any and all electronic devices you have. The male washroom floor has a lounge area to drink free coffee and other assorted drinks. What's not to love. The one thing I wasn't enthused about is that the showers aren't privately separated or screened off like other capsule hotels. It's more like an open onsen concept showering/bathing. All your glory is exposed from inside the changing room to the showers and back. All in all, a great capsule hotel to stay at. Had the private capsules which was the main reason I booked it in the first place.

• Tabitha (10/5): Great hotel in Tokyo - I stayed in the standard capsule hotel which was a little bigger than just the capsule. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I was worried that there would be a English barrier however the staff spoke basic English.My mini room and had everything I needed as well as a closet that locked and a place that I could store my luggage and basic amenities offered daily. I already knew going in that the bathrooms were share so this didn’t bother me. This capsule hotel was very nice for the price I would recommend to my friend .
• Kevin (10/5): Dont be afraid!! - This is my absolute first time in Japan and I feel like I royally screwed up everything possible, and yet still made it with ease! If I can do it, so can you! The hotel is about a 7 minute walk from the akihabara station, I used google maps and it lead me to the location very easily. Hotel staff is very kind as expected, and even if language barrier is a problem, google translate will save you. I had a pocket wifi delivered to the hotel and it was difficult for me to tell them in English that I would like to pick it up, but again, google translate made things simple and I got what I needed. The hotel is beautiful. Yes it is small, and that is the charm jn it. It is also very, VERY well kept. Would highly recommend!
• Spenser (10/5): Stay in the heart of Akihabara - I had a fantastic stay at the Glansit Akihabara! I only speak a limited amount of Japanese, but the staff did their best to accommodate me. They were all so polite and friendly. The onsen tub in the shower room was a great end to a long day on my feet. Glansit's proximity to all the arcades and shops in Akihabara makes it an otaku's dream.
• Michael (10/5): Great place and location! - We actually ended up staying another night besides the one night we booked. Cancelled our other hotel in fact. This place is easy walking distance to Akihabara train station, electric town and other sites. We'd stay here again. Very clean, great service. Only down side is no matter how early you arrive for checkin before 5pm, you ain't getting until 5pm. But they're do offer luggage storage.
