Chambre petite et j’étais au 5e étage mais ce n’était que pour une nuit donc ça allait mais pour un séjour plus long il vaut mieux réserver un peu a l’avance pour pouvoir demander une chambre aux étages inférieurs ! Adresse pas facile à trouver quand on vient pour la 1ere fois et bien qu’il y ait une pancarte avec le nom de la gh on ne la remarque pas. Donc certainement quelque chose à faire pour améliorer le visuel et permettre aux clients de trouver plus facilement la maison.

In a 4 night stay, room was only serviced once following a request Our double bed mattress needed urgent replacement, it was breaking apart with old springs making it noisy and uncomfortable.

• Elton (1/5): - People, clean. The room wasn’t what is like in the picture. They made a room that is actually not a bedroom with some plywood wall at the top floor in front of the laundry. The smell was terrible, smells like cigarettes, there was hair on the floor, the shower is on top of the toilet. You gotta close the toilet to have shower, is just bad.

La proprietaria gentilissima e disponibile. La cucina condivisa che permette di cucinare qualcosa in autonomia. Le camere sono su diversi livelli, senza ascensore. Portare le valigie fino all’ultimo piano non è stato per niente semplice.

It is not what I don't like, it is just that sometimes it was a little difficult to communicate because their english wasn't that good, but they really tried their best and we got there in the end.

• Pedro (8/5): Good value for money, quiet place on a side street - Clean and tidy room, clean bathroom and good water pressure. The staff is friendly and helpful, though language can be a barrier sometimes. The location is quite good but the place can be a bit tricky to reach by car. This has the additional advantage that the place is quiet, as it is far enough from the busier streets. The staff can organize a tour to the Mekong delta for a good price, but we decided to do something else. Coming in and out by taxi was a bit challenging, because if the taxi is a big SUV it can have issues maneuvering through the narrow streets. But thanks to that there is little noise... The bathroom is a little narrow in the room we stayed in, so sitting on the toilet might require some adjustments if you're a big person. Might not apply to all rooms.
• Thioro (10/5): must visit! - absolutely loved staying here, highly recommend and will return! strong WiFi & even stronger AirCon, absolutely loved the location as it felt more local and homey. felt extremely safe walking alone in the alleys at night. family run homestay and they always made sure to say hello and ask if i needed anything. the son helped carry my luggage up stairs which was really nice. the address was a bit difficult to find the first night so be sure to ask for specific info / coordinate your arrival also there's an amazing restaurant named Ốc Đào it's about a 5 minute walk within the alleys for traditional yummy food my only issue is that because it's in the alleyways it's impossible for cars to pick me up since i don't want to ride on a motorcycle. i usually had to walk 20 meters to the noodle house restaurant for pick ups/drop offs & there's a lot of stairs. it was 12 flights of stairs for my room #7 so if you have mobility issues i wouldn't recommend. if not you'll love it here <3

I had planned - The shower and the location was really nice I came to Ho Chi Minh for a friends 30th birthday and therefore were going to be out late on Friday night. I had planned a business meeting Saturday and might also be late this night. Therefore I had booked this hotel in the busy area of district 1. The manager told me that this would be a problem since they close the doors to the hotel at 2am. He told me I could call him when I got home at night but when I did he was very frustrated with me and told me that it wasn’t ok to come home after the curfew. He was very angry although I told him I thought this was what we agreed on. I was very disappointed because this was not mentioned in the house rules. I felt like the manager was mad at me after the incident and left me feeling very uncomfortable staying here. It felt like being back in my teen years being yelled at by a parent. Also the beds are very hard and pillows very big which wasn’t so ergonomic. And I found other people’s hair in my bed. The location and shower is very nice though and the area really quiet.

• Teh (8/5): Great Stay in a Convenient but Private Locale - Strategic location within District 1 near many attractions. Very private and quiet. Guests need to know that this place is located in a private alley which is inaccessible by vehicles. So you need to get off at the main road and walk about 30 - 40m. Use DVRK Boutique as your place holder if using an ehailing ride / cab. Otherwise, use an ehailing motorcycle service. However, I don't see this as a deal breaker once we familiarize.

The owner is very nice and talkative and is able to help you booking trips and other services. Honest price for a very convenient location. Recommended! The soundproofing is not very strong and you can hear people talking on the stairs or in the other rooms. The property is closed from 2am to 6am.

There are lots of stairs, so if you're not very mobile, ask for a room on a lower floor. The owner's son carried my bag to my room which was nice. The shower was not good- not much water coming out.
• Devrishi (8/5): It's a value for money. - We only stayed for 12 hrs as we were having a flight late at night. So we just needed a few hrs to stay somewhere. This is good value for money. You dont expect very high 4 or 5 star facilities as prices are low. Still you will get better than what you pay. The lady at the reception was very helpful and nice. She will do extra to make you feel comfortable. Lift is required.

Being just outside of District 1 tucked away in a little side street, it was a bit less noisy. The family was very welcoming and super sweet. Although a bit of a longer walk, most touristy things were accessible by foot. Plenty of delicious restaurants nearby for food. It wasn’t a problem, but keep in mind there is no elevator.

• Giorgina (2/5): Do not recommend for solo female travelers - The room was clean This homestay is not in a good location. It’s situated in between alleys so cars can’t get in. You need to keep that in mind if you have luggage. The host is very unresponsive. They are not helpful at all. They will only help you if you are booking a tour through them otherwise they say they don’t know. I saw a girl in the lobby asking if she could borrow a bike; the guy was very unhelpful towards her. One ordered a grab and needed help explaining to the driver where it is was located. The guy just started at me when I asked if he could call and talk to him. I also noticed a few times someone said “visa” and laughed with another person when I would pass by. Not sure if it’s because I am from a western country but that made me very uncomfortable. Would not recommend if you are a solo female traveler. One because of the sketchy location, two the hosts do not respond or help you and thee because of the uncomfortable comments and stairs.

The attention was also excellent, always very kind and helpful. The location is great, it's close to everything. Unfortunately there are no social spaces, so I ended up staying more in the room.

• Marta (9/5): Superb - Very nice place to stay in Saigon. It was clean, comfortable and the room was very well equipped. Location is also central enough. People were very nice, despite not speaking a lot of English.

• Underlinden (9/5): Friendly hosts - I really liked the hospitality of our hosts. We talked a lot and they gave us lots of advice and told us a lot about their culture and what to visit. They were really helpful. The room was also really nice and clean. The only down thing was the flow of the water under the shower but it's ok for the 5th floor.

• Michael (8/5): Comfortable stay for 3 days - This place was good for a short stay. The room is comfortable but nothing special, it was clean and comfortable. It is a bit far from attractions but we were able to take buses and it worked out fine. The hosts made check in easy and quick. It was a little more outdated than the pictures showed but still was good.
• Anna (9/5): Superb - We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was ideal for us following a long journey as it is quiet and tucked away from the hustle and bustle but still very central. Ha is a lovely host who was very helpful with booking tours, checking in and laundry. The room was big and spacious with a comfy bed and air con. The shower was excellent and there were good amenities such as a hair dryer, shampoo and toothbrushes. There was a little mould on the bedroom wall but nothing drastic. One morning we were woken up around 6:30 to very loud music.
• Nikol (10/5): Would def stay again m! - Everything was perfect! Felt it like home. The staff, the owners were incredibly nice. The ac is very strong so you can chill after a hot day. Its also in a very good location. Everything is near.
