• Giulia (7/5): - La posizione, all inizio di via Maqueda, vicinissimo al Mercato di Ballarò. Molto comoda per visitare il centro a piedi. Elisa gentilissima, tutti i giorni chiedeva se ci serviva qualcosa, persona squisita La via è un po' rumorosa ma basta portarsi dei tappi e il problema è risolto!

• Ewa (10/5): Polecam! Wspaniali właściciele - Dużym plusem było późne zakwaterowanie – przyjechaliśmy po 23:00, a właściciel na nas czekał, oprowadził nas po mieszkaniu i wszystko wyjaśnił. Bardzo dobry kontakt, szybkie odpowiedzi i duża pomoc w polecaniu miejsc do zobaczenia na Sycylii. Kuchnia była dobrze wyposażona, a mieszkanie codziennie sprzątane. Dostaliśmy też aż trzy ręczniki, co było dużym plusem. Właściciele okazali dużą życzliwość – wiedząc, że byłam chora, sami zaproponowali późniejsze wykwaterowanie, żebym mogła się lepiej wyspać. Zostawienie bagażu w mieszkaniu do czasu wieczornego lotu również nie było problemem. Z całego serca polecam – bardzo mili i pomocni ludzie. Podczas prysznica woda nie spływa na bieżąco i gromadzi się w brodziku, przez co stoi się w wodzie, dopóki całkowicie nie odpłynie. Właściciel uprzedził nas o tym wcześniej podczas oprowadzania, więc nie było to dla nas zaskoczenie

• Susan (8/5): Central location - Very central location. Close to train and bus station and 100 metres from start of old town. Staff communicated well and were helpful. The room faces a Main Street and the window is not double glazed. Even with the shutters and the window closed it was very noisy at night. Difficult to sleep

• Joanne (10/5): Lovely comfortable room with friendly and helpful hosts. - Lovely en suite room in an incredible building. Everything was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was modern and spacious. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful.
• Clara (4/5): I would not recommend this place - Nothing I felt like I was in a boarding house with strangers. I have been in many B&Bs, but the owners were there. This was an apartment with several rooms thank heavens They all have their own bathrooms. Not a comfortable atmosphere for me. The building scary what a strange elevator.

• Терещенко (4/5): Гарне розташування, але це фактично хостел з маленьками кімнатами - Гарне розташування та чудовий господар. Ще дуже затишна кухня. Дизайн та розмір кімнати жахливий. Кімната для трьох осіб дуже і дуже маленька і нема майже місця розкласти навіть особисті речі. Також були обіцяні сніданки -їх не було. На кухні були хлібці одна коробка з джемом це все. З сантехнікою не було проблем, але в сусідній кімнаті були проблеми зі зливом в душовій кабінці.
• Nazek (10/5): • Ideale anche per chi viaggia da solo: ci si sente subito a proprio agio, accolti e in sicurezza. - La struttura si trova nel cuore di Palermo, a pochi passi dal mercato di Ballarò e dalla stazione centrale: una zona strategica per muoversi a piedi ed esplorare il centro storico, i mercati e i principali monumenti I gestori sono estremamente gentili e disponibili, sempre attenti alle esigenze degli ospiti. L’ambiente è accogliente e curato nei dettagli, con anche qualche tocco artistico (pianoforte e chitarra a disposizione).

• Kathrin (10/5): Komfortabel, zentral und herzlich - Die Unterkunft liegt zentral, um die Stadt zu Fuß zu erkunden. Zudem ist man schnell am Hauptbahnhof und hat eine gute Anbindung zum Flughafen. Das Zimmer verfügt über ein eigenes Bad. Alles ist stets sauber und gepflegt. Die Vermieterin ist unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich war bereits schon zum zweiten mal da und komme gern wieder 🌸

• Barbara (9/5): Superb - La Bella Bolla-ro has an excellent location just a few blocks from the train station and bus station. It is clean and comfortable and the kitchen is very well appointed. The shower in our room was wonderful with lots of hot water. The hosts were very kind.
• Viet (8/5): Great host - good location - The location of this apartment is very central, close to main tourist attractions in Palermo. Communication with the host was super, very responsive and informative. We did not meet in person, the check-in was done via video call and it went surprizingly smooth. The room was smaller than I expected (note we book a three beds room for three persons) but it was compensated by the provided amennities in the common kitchen area with free fruits, coffee, biscuits and jams. Finding a parking place near this apartment is not a simple task (a common issue in Palermo). Thanks to the information provided by our host, I found the parking garage next to the station being very good with easy access and availability.

• Nur (9/5): Will make sure to visit Alessandro's recommendation of place to eat next time! - The warm welcome by Elisa on the whatsapp & Alessandro at the site on our last day in Sicily just make the overall experience staying at La Bella was a memorable one. The location is very close to train station and Ballaro marktet, which is a bonus as we wished to catch up on visiting the market on our last day as we didnt get to see much on first day arriving in Sicily before going around the island. The check in process was smooth with Alessandro explaining to us every little details that are important and room facilities are clean and tiptop. Extra towels provided. The kitchen and dining area, is in fact is a communal area so we made sure to use and leave it clean hopefully. Nothing particularly related to the property itself but i just wish the restaurants that Alessandro recommended is within 10 minutes walk from there 😂 we were exhausted after 8 days travelling around and tired toddler, so during the final hours in the evening we couldnt make it to wait for the opening hours of Ferramenta.

• Emma (10/5): A warm and much needed welcome - The property was very spacious and clean with everything we needed for the duration of our stay. After a very stressful day (our flight being cancelled and then having to get a 4 hour train to a different airport for a flight the following day), staying here was like someone giving me a hug. The hosts were so welcoming, the bed was comfy, the shower was hot. Elisa had added all the comforts I needed such as shower wash and face cleanser. We couldn’t have asked for more. The noise from the street was quite loud at first but died down in the early hours.

He explained everything and gave us great tips for restaurants, cafes etc. The large apartment ist decorated nicely and has all one needs. The kitchen (spotlessly clean!) is equipped with any- and everything! Our room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. It was quiet - and the curtains kept the sunlight out in the morning, so we could sleep long… 😊 We were in the triple room (for 3 Persons) for 1 night. For young women traveling alone, in the evening or when dark, the area might be intimidating.

We had 3 bedrooms for our family. rooms were beautiful, we appreciated the use of the kitchen. close to everything, walking distance to train / bus station, city centre, market. for 2 out of 3 bedrooms we rented: it was very noisy. lots of street noise all night and early morning. lots of difficulties to sleep. we also couldn't sleep because of a constant "motor" noise, not sure it was from the elevator, or somewhere else, but it was right below our bedroom and our relative next door could hear as well. we didn't sleep much, a shame really because everything else was perfect. my mum however, had a bedroom further from the street noise and away from this "motor" noise, and she slept well.

• Tiffany (10/5): Elisabetta was a fantastic host that had made a point to accommodate every need. She was FANTASTIC! - Elisabetta was a fantastic host. She had went out of her way to make sure everything necessary for a comfortable stay was provided in the guesthouse. A nice touch was coffee and tea were provided in the kitchen for our use during the stay, amenities were provided in the bathroom and as requested, she had provided extra pillows. She went so far as to send information for the sites that we should see in Palermo and made suggestions for good dining spots to get good food at reasonable prices. My friend needed some medical attention for a knee problem during the stay and Elisabetta went out of her way to direct us to proper care and went far as arranging for a doctor to come to us for an x-ray since it was a Sunday and all the while she was attending to a sick baby herself. She went out of her way to make sure our visit to Palermo left us with a good impression and reasons to visit again. She accomplished that for sure, Palermo is a fantastic city and because of the hospitality of Elisabetta, we left with very fond memories. The arrival process was a bit of a misunderstanding. With the hosts not staffing the facility, they call to confirm arrival to be available to check in guests. However, I was not aware of this and although I had specified my arrival time and mode of arrival there was nobody to meet me for check in. The host had tried to contact me to confirm my arrival; unfortunately, I was on the ferry and had no WiFi or mobile service at sea and the host had tried to call to confirm on WhatsApp and of course with no internet service at sea, I was unable to get the call. Upon arrival I called and Alessandro informed me that he would need an hour to reach the facility to check us in so we went to get a bite to eat a short walk away. He had decided to use the moped to come faster and I wasn't aware of that either, since he said he would need an hour, we assumed we had plenty of time for a quick meal. Sadly, he arrived sooner and we were not there, and of course, still no internet or Wifi so I missed his call again and he left, thinking we had decided to not stay. It was very confusing because of the telephone situation. It would be far better to coordinate arrivals in advance with times and mode of arrival so the host can check the status of the flight, ferry, boat, etc. to see if the planned arrival mode is on schedule and be present to greet guests when they arrive. For us, it was a first time to Palermo and it was dark and we were a bit frightened to see that there was no one to greet us. I am sure many guests outside of Europe, and especially arriving by ferry might not have the luxury of Internet service to confirm the arrival via WhatsApp. Mobile service and Internet are not readily available at sea, especially for guests that don't have local mobile services from Europe. After we finally connected, it was smooth sailing. We explained the problem of having no WhatsApp service. Alessandro was nice and assured us he was just a call away once we checked in.

The B&B was beautifully renovated, sparkling clean, perfectly located in the historic center and an incredible value. The mattresses and kim end were so comfy! Plenty of hot water for the shower. It was quiet for sleeping soundly. We felt safe and secure. Our hosts Alexander & Eliza were incredibly nice. They do a really good job in all all aspects with the place. We hated to leave. nothing

They provided us with many recommendations for restaurants and cafés. The accommodation is located in the very city center of Palermo, modern, super clean and designed with great attention to detail.

Room is big and the bathroom is good size as well. The apartment is on the first floor and there is a lift. The kitchenette is shared and kept in great condition. Perfect location - There was no breakfast as such, but i could use thing in the communal kitchen (coffee and bread). The room was beautiful and clean and modern `Italian. It was on the first floor so easy to get to however there is a lift. It was right in town and walking distance to the bus and train and all the tourist roads that run through Palermo. Perfect location. I am an elderly female travelling alone and I felt safe. There is always a lot of people around. And Alex the owner is so helpful. Because it is right in town, right in the middle of the tourist areas, it was a bit noisy until midnight. If you want something a bit quieter than maybe this is not the place. `

The only thing you will be explained that they have issue with water getting stuck in the shower. What you need to do is to flush the toilet. But everything worked after that.
