• Dinah (6/5): Overall the stay was good. Location worked well, staff were friendly. Room was clean. - The location was great as we needed to be at exhibition park most of the weekend. Breakfast was very small, but I appreciate that something was offered. Especially the coffee. Staff were friendly. The room deposit of $200.00 is far too much. The hotel is mediocre at best. This is a deposit I would expect to see at a 5 star hotel in downtown Halifax. It just does not match the hotel or amenities.

• Lisa (8/5): Excellent value! - This vintage 1960s hotel conveniently located at the 0 exit off Highway 102 into Halifax is excellent value for the money. Our room was fairly basic but clean and well appointed with a microwave and fridge, hairdryer, etc. The complimentary breakfast included a nice selection of pastries, toast, fruit, yogurt, and coffee. The staff were very pleasant. I probably wouldn't want to stay here a week, but for one or two nights, it's hard to beat this price. When we came back late at night, the parking lot was full. (We ended up parking on the side of the entrance.)

• Gagnon (3/5): It was either leaks in the wall or the heating system, but there was loud, relentless tapping in the walls all night eve - The staff is great and the cleanliness mostly seemed up to par. The building is really run down. The renovations are lipstick on a pig. Also, the AC unit in every room I've been to is riddled with mold. I wouldn't feel safe if it was on.

• Jovita (5/5): It was alright. Was clean and the bed was comfy. No wifi and no tv was a bit disappointing. - The staff was very friendly. We couldn't watch tv or log into the wifi. It was terrible. Although the staff member did try to resolve the issue, but to no avail. She did try to accommodate. We had a $200 deposit added to check in. We did not know about this. Luckily we had it to pay. We did get it back upon checkout.

• Line (7/5): Awesome sleep, friendly staff, clean new linen. - Location is close to 3 major arteries, close to drive to downtown, tucked away by itself with shade trees around. The building is old but the interior has been renovated, including the rooms. there's an elevator! The breakfast is what you're likely to have at home, toast, bagels, pastry yogurt, condiments and good coffee. the place is really clean. beds are comfy with good linen some things need be refurbished or repaired, such as AC unit, the cover for the base heater, but I believe it will get done in time.
• Deborah (4/5): A very overpriced, disappointing accommodation. - The beds were comfortable and bedding clean. We spent one night here. The motel is very run down and in a poorer area of town. The room we stayed in looked out onto the pavement and we had to keep our curtains closed just to have some privacy from others looking into the room. The first electrical wall outlet did not work, and the second one was missing half of the outlet cover and would have been dangerous had we had a child with us. The toilet paper holder had been ripped out of the wall (not repaired or replaced), and overall we did not feel that the place was cleaned to our expectations (we moved the waste basket and there was dirt behind it). We had to wear flip flops in the room whenever we walked around. The breakfast was very disappointing - basically sugary snack foods and drinks. In addition, it was very overpriced - the most expensive room during our Maritime vacation. Would not recommend this place to others.

• Bradley (3/5): A tiring sketchy experience made harder by rude, unacommidating staff - The location was quaint.. to say the best, the windows open providing an airy feel, aswell as the beds being clean and comfortable Staff was very unfriendly, almost confronting when acquiring about services, acquired about a room upgrade and the employee at reception didn’t even turn her head to look at the computer and just repeated “no no you have 2 in your room” which in itself was ok I’m used to rude individuals,but this was a crazy customer service experience almost like the staff was just hanging out there and anything they had to do to help you was like a chore or a nuisance to them. Upon entering I was nearly scammed by the receptionist who tried to pocket some of my cash after a long drive I barley noticed and it was a really sketchy experience overall wouldn’t recommend staying here, we figured there’s better, more accommodating and price worthy stays then this one 1000%, Slso the ice machine is a 100$ Tupperware ice maker which isn’t important but if your a person who needs ice it matters, this barley sums up the amount of things wrong with this stay also room cleaners were not by at all both days of our stay.
• Cassidy (10/5): Good value for price. - Conveniently located but not in a busy area so it was quiet, very clean, comfy beds, friendly staff. Hot water in the shower was not very hot, but it was ok.

• Mike (6/5): Affordable and clean. - The front desk staff where very informative and willing to help me with questions I had. Friendly and easy to talk with. It's honestly a no frills hotel, but I found it clean and affordable. Nothing fancy but clean and the continental breakfast was decent.
