Right next to Paddington Bear and across the river from Bus station for Machu Picchu. Breakfast was ready for us at 5AM in the morning. We were allowed to store luggage as well.
• Caroline (5/5): Das Hotel hat uns sehr enttäuscht, es war vom Preis mit das höchste bisher und das hat nicht gepasst. - Das Zimmer war schön wie auf dem Foto Allerdings hat es sehr nach Schimmel gerochen und da es keine Lüftung gibt hatte man die Wahl zws dem Lärm mitten im Zentrum oder Luft. Es ist nachts sehr laut von Musik aus dem Zentrum und ab 4 Uhr hört man die Nachbarn sehr gut, Föhn , Stühle rücken. Alles nicht schön

He took the time to take us up to the room and show us all the particulars. The bed was the BEST we had on the trip - we truly wished we had more than one night here! They were so accomodating with holding our luggage while we were on an early morning tour of Machu Picchu. Not a thing - we loved our stay.

In walking distance to shops and close to bus station and train station to maccu pichu. They let us leave our luggage while going maccu pichu and have showers afterwards. Very kind staff. The view from breakfast (which is delicious) on 7th floor was amazing. Unfortunately the view from our "deluxe mountain view" room was just onto a big metal roof, see attached pic. That was false advertising. Make sure you insist on floor 3 or better above when booking to get a mountain view.

Staff was friendly and helpful! We thought the layout was odd, in that, there was a door for the shower and toilet but the tub , sink and dressing area were out in the open space. Not a deal-breaker though.

Man kann alles aus dem Zimmer hören (wir waren im 5.Stock und man hörte aus dem oberen Stock gegen 4 Uhr früh, wie die Stühle/Tische verschoben wurden, auch die Schritte hat man gehört. Man hat eigentlich alles gehört auch aus dem Korridor. Man könnte denken, dass die Leute vor dem Zimmer im Zimmer selbst standen. Ich bin oftmals erwacht in der Nacht, daher würde ich leider nicht mehr wieder kommen.

• Gigio (9/5): Camera luxury incantevole, ma... le pulizie si pagano extra???!!! - Ho preso la camera luxury, effettivamente fantastica, grandissima, con vasca idromassaggio oltre alla doccia, elegante, confortevole con una grande vetrata sul fiume e sulle montagne, magnifico dormire con il rumore dell'acqua che comunque si poteva silenziare chiudendo tutte le finestre. Ottime lenzuola e materasso. Hotel centralissimo a 3 minuti a piedi dalla stazione e a due minuti dalla partenza degli autobus. Location romantica. Ottima colazione in spazio super panoramico. NB credo che tutte le camere, anche quelle non luxury siano panoramiche, probabilmente danno sulle montagne e non sul fiume. Trovo strano che in un tre stelle dove scelgo la camera luxury pagando 100 euro a notte ( NB con lo sconto genius, altrimenti probabilmente costa di più), non pochissimo rispetto agli standard peruviani, che la normale pulizia della stanza sia un extra a pagamento, come in un ostello (20 euro ogni volta che fanno le pulizie). al mattino alle 6 mi hanno inviato una sequenza di messaggi per chiedermi se volevo le pulizie, non capendo ma subodorando qualcosa, ho risposto di fare le pulizie a patto che non ci fossero costi aggiuntivi, mi hanno risposto di non preoccuparmi, e poi mi sono trovata i 20 euro sul conto. Non mi era mai capitato, in Italia sarebbe inconcepibile. Booking non lo dice all'atto della prenotazione, poi in una mail successiva specifica che ci potrebbero essere costi extra, non spiegando quali. Il clima è molto umido, per cui è difficile non farsi cambiare le asciugamani che non si asciugano. altrimenti varrebbe la pena di rinunciare alle pulizie.Quando sono arrivata mi hanno subito offerto l'early check in che comunque comportava una attesa di mezz'ora alla cifra di 30 dollari specificando che li accettavano solo in cash (come mai?). l'accesso normale sarebbe stato alle 12,30 dollari per un accesso di un'ora e mezza prima, non è un po' tanto?

• Brett (10/5): - The location, the room and the staff. We were met at the train station and taken to the hotel whilst showing us where to catch our train the next day. The room was well appointed and of a good size, ours overlooked the river. We were able to store our luggage the next morning whilst visiting Machu Picchu and after our visit we able to use the hotel lobby to relax, recharge phones and use the toilet whist waiting for our train ( only a few minutes walk to the train station)

• sagit (9/5): Beautiful, I recommend to stay. I would come again! - We stayed two nights (13-15/1/26)had a room with a lake and mountain view and I couldn’t be happier, the view is to die for!!! The hotel staff are fantastic. We were collected from the train station, we had to go get entry ticket to the Machu Picchu, we were taken straight away to the office by the reception manager and he waited until tickets were received. Also, for food, there is a great restaurant just on the left(you leave the hotel and go into the restaurant), great and fresh food. Doesn’t belong to the hotel. Prices for food are overpriced otherwise- just for us tourists. Only thing is the water, cold water in the sink. And not enough hot water when shower.

Eles não tem um depósito de malas fechado, as malas ficam em um banco ao lado da recepção, e quando voltamos ao hotel não havia nenhum funcionário do hotel na recepção vigiando as malas, só retornaram uns dez minutos depois que estávamos lá. Também o funcionário não checou os códigos das etiquetas das bagagens! Achei este aspecto bem ruim.

También nos dejaron esperando en la estación de trenes. Dependiendo de la habitación, puede tocar una sin ventanas exteriores.

• elke (6/5): Boa localizado, mas não tem ar condicionado - O quarto corresponde com as fotos do booking. O café da manhã tem uma visita linda das montanhas. O café está de acordo com a categoria, é básico. Não usamos banheira, então não posso opinar. A localização para comprar o trem e para comprar o ticket e pegar o ônibus é excelente. Eles te buscam na estação, mas tive problemas pq o trem da PeruRail quebrou e só chegamos 5 hrs depois do horário, então eles não tinham como saber e fiquei sem bateria para avisar. Como vi em outros comentários, podemos tomar banho depois do check-out em um banheiro no terreo, mas avisaram que é cobrada uma taxa para toalha. Os funcionários são atenciosos. Não tem pães sem lactose. Não tem ar condicionado split no quarto, avisaram que eu precisaria pedir, então falei pra trazerem e era um aparelho de piso que ventila forte, mas não esfria totalmente o ambiente e eu precisava para usar o secador. Escolhi esse hotel pela localização e pela promessa de ar condicionado. Fiquei no quarto dos fundos, queria silêncio e realmente deu certo, mas não dá pra abrir a janela, inclusive dos banheiros a noite, vem um cheiro de fritura dos restaurantes ao redor.

• Koen (5/5): Unfortunately not worth the money - Location is great, with nice views. Beds are also decent. Staff is also doing their best to keep guests happy, which can be difficult as it's an expensive hotel and it's just not worth the cost. Breakfast was good and staff there also very nice! The hotel is a bit outdated with loose buttons, things like TV, hair dryer etc not working (correctly) etc. It's not worth the quite expensive price. We booked this room mostly for the jacuzzi, and that's also not worth it. The jacuzzi is smaller than we thought it would be based on pictures. And the first one we had was leaking. After a bit of a hassle they came up with a reasonable solution (we got another room the next day and a small compensation for the first day), but also in the next room some things were not working correctly again. We also heard from other guests about issues with their jacuzzi. For half the price all of this would be ok, but not with this price. Earlier this week we had a better room in Arequipa, for a price 3 times less!

The welcome was warm and professional, and the staff was always available to provide information and advice about the area. Our room was very clean, well-maintained, and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable, and we appreciated the size of the room as well as the jacuzzi. Breakfast was a real highlight of our stay, with fresh and generous portions served each morning in a pleasant atmosphere. Overall, this hotel contributed to the success of our trip to Peru. We recommend it to travelers looking for a comfortable and well-located hotel in Aguas Calientes.

Fresh clean water and teas available in lobby. Small elevator to all floors, fits three with luggage max. Easy quick access to train station. Room was nice, big window, big, firm bed, nice table with couples dual (one) chair. In room jacuzzi, with separate rain shower. Good pressure with hot water. Yellow water in jacuzzi is from hot springs (we were told). Solo enclosed water closet. Like most dwellings, no fans but windows. Really solid place, would stay again. Enjoy.

It’s right in town & convenient to restaurants, shopping & the line for the bus to Machu Picchu. The hotel has breakfast on the top floor which is available early. They were beyond happy to hold our bags for us after checkout.

Before my arrival the staff were already assisting me with information regarding entry tickets to Machu Picchu, guide arranging and training station pick up. Fran met me and took me to the Minister of Culture office and took my bags to the hotel. They gave me a beautiful room with a view of the main street and river & water fall that flows through the town. There was a huge soaker tub with jets that I used daily. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Leo was also amazing assisting me back to the train. They were available whenever I needed something like ice or fresh towel. I highly recommend this hotel.

• X5921JEchristianv (10/5): 10/10 Experience - After four solid hard days hiking this place was absolute bliss to come and relax at prior to going up to Machu Picchu. Luis at the front desk was a great host and extremely helpful. The showers and bathrooms clean as well as a beautiful large king bed to relax in. Best part is we were right downtown but never got too loud, overall 10/10 experience at this hotel.

• Passport31458128084 (10/5): You Can't Go Wrong Staying Here - This is a lovely little hotel in which to stay while touring Machu Picchu. The staff are always willing to help with anything you need. The included breakfast is very simple but adequate. Veronica was always friendly and gracious and willing to attend to our every need. Rooms are plain but comfortable. There is no AC and some guests might not enjoy the street noise (my room overlooked the river). Activity dies down around 10pm and then all you hear is the river. There was a safe in the room but it wasn't of much use for this kind of trip and was not really well secured in any event. Overall I would strongly recommend this hotel. It is a very short walk to the Machu Picchu buses by the way.

• Jet25569248403 (10/5): Very nice room and service - Bery nice hotel in Aguas Calientes. We had a different hotel assigned as part of our Inka Trail tour, but it was subpar. We walked in and the receptionist offered to show the room without us even asking. We were given a fair rate despite walking in. The room was large. The king bed was large and comfortable. Our room included a jacuzzi tub.

• Flyer323093 (10/5): Great hotel - This hotel is great. It’s an easy walk from the train station when you arrive. The front desk is very helpful especially Luis who is so friendly. The beds are comfortable and the breakfast that’s included is very good. This is a great find

• Daniel (10/5): Great place to stay and in the middle of everything, safe area and be sure to get you picture with Paddington the bear - The staff lead Luis was fantastic, he stayed in touch when booking questions arose and helped resolve them and his manager was very helpful as well. The kitchen staff was on top of things and Kabel in particular were very pleasant and enjoyed conversation as well as guidance on what to see Nothing
• C9351JTbilla (10/5): Jaya Hotel - Jaya is a beautiful boutique hotel in a prime location!!!!!! Front desk staff was very accommodating and friendly and helpful...... They had a excellent breakfast upstairs with a gorgeous view of the city and surrounding mountains, the hostess Isabel was absolutely fantastic and extremely friendly and knowledgeable!!!!!

Die Hotelzimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet und alles war sehr sauber. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns das Personal: Die Angestellten waren unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer zuvorkommend. Wir hatten ein Problem mit unserem Machu-Picchu-Ticket, und das Team im Hotel hat uns sofort unterstützt. Sie haben sich viel Zeit genommen und konnten das Problem für uns lösen. Dafür sind wir sehr dankbar. Ich kann dieses Hotel wirklich jedem empfehlen. Es ist perfekt für eine Nacht, bevor man zum Machu Picchu geht. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
