• Ute (8/5): Stay during the tour of Rajasthan - A somewhat dated hotel with good service, a spacious and attractive reception area, and rooms located on the upper floor. A lift is available. Very polite and helpful staff. The rooms are large, with traditional furnishings and a fridge. We had two adjoining rooms, each with a balcony. The restaurant is located on the ground floor in a large hall. Breakfast is served as a buffet. The choice at dinner was limited, which may have been due to it being the off-season. The bar on the ground floor was closed. Outside, the pool is situated in a lawn in front of the restaurant.

• sarah (8/5): Nice pool. Great food. Poor Service. - We loved the inner courtyard with tortoises, and the stable by the entry point. We loved the food. We loved the pool. Internet very slow Air conditioning was ineffective Toilet for one of the rooms was dirty on arrival. The hotel organised our taxi from Ajmer station on arrival for 1500 rupees. We organised our own cab back to the station for 500 rupees - not including tip. (There are plenty of taxis at the station) We left at 6am and asked the hotel the night before if we could have some sort of breakfast. They told me they ‘ had already told me that we could have an early breakfast’ . Despite that - and getting downstairs early for this - no breakfast materialised and none of the staff were able to help in getting anything. For this calibre of hotel it really shouldn’t be an issue - our hotel in Delhi laid on a full early breakfast for us. We didn’t expect that - but this place couldn’t even muster up some bananas….the fact I had been made out to be an irritant by checking really made this highly annoying.

It is probably the best value hotel and one of the most beautiful hotel we stayed. We asked to do yoga and they forgot to reserve it. They told us a lie and did not take responsibility. However, they offered us lunch for free to compensate.

They have beautiful horses on the property. They have a wood oven for great pizza’s! A welcome change after Indian food for 2 weeks! Staff at the restaurant are lovely. The pool area needs an upgrade, but has lovely views over the city.

It's not far out of town but feels like a different world completely. A pleasant walk or a short tuk tuk ride will get you where you want to be. Would definately recommend Nothing. All great

• Sudhir (3/5): Average - Well maintained property overlooking the Pushkar Lake and the Hills. Booked 2 nights with Pay at property option. Received whatsapp messages claiming to be Hotel staff Virendra Singh Bhati, asking for money at midnight on 27th Dec. Either pay a token money or have the booking cancelled. Hotel asked this on whatsapp NOT through Booking.com message service. When I asked back, through booking.com message they do no think it is a mistake to ask money and using a black mail of cancellation that too at midnight. The Hotel perceived that I am booking a hotel only to cancel; the hotel being pure stupid and ignorant of what is a Customer and who is a customer. They asking money through whatsapp channel and also believes that is a right thing. The so called phone number listed on Booking.com was not responded. Intimidating and simply put a pathetic behaviour on part of Hotel.

The hotel lobby must be one of the most elegant and beautiful that I have ever seen: the symmetrical staircases, the balustrades, the dome roof with its faux balconies and glamorous chandelier. I would stand and marvel at the edifice from different angles every time I returned to the hotel. Since we were staying for four days we upgraded to a suite. It was very comfortable with two balconies and a separate bedroom and living room. The bed was very comfortable and cosy. Water was hot but sometimes took a while to reach our room. The restaurant was very good. Ingredients were fresh and the food was mostly tasty. It was also quite filling, despite being vegetarian only. The breakfast espresso was very tasty. Location was fine. It was about ten minutes walk to the lake; a bit out of the way, but worth the walk for the tranquility and view from the hotel grounds. Staff were cheery and the manager was very helpful. We also had good communication before arriving. Overall it was a very pleasant, relaxing and satisfying stay. Highly recommended. Hot water took a while to arrive in the room, but it always came. Nothing to complain about. We stayed for four days and they flew by.

Loved that they did a table side bonfire for our dinner. I advised them in advance that I required non dairy milk for coffee. Got there and they had none with the reception staff hating the blame from the manager, who said when we arrived was the one who had been communicating with me!!

The view from the garden over the city is a lovely way start the day. The rooms are quiet and the bed was perfect - we slept well. Gorgeous green parrots in the trees, monkeys and tiny squirrels out the back. Pushkar’s good place for a rest after the chaos’s and noise of Delhi and Jaipur. I really enjoyed this town. The food. The dinner was included - everything looked and tased the same - skip it. There’s plenty of great food in town overlooking the lake.

One of the big advantages of the hotel is its location — everything is within walking distance, which made moving around very easy and convenient. Both the reception team and the restaurant staff were very friendly, attentive and always willing to help. Communication at the front desk was smooth, and they were quick to assist with any requests. A special mention goes to the restaurant team, especially Arjun, who was exceptionally warm, polite and genuinely caring. His attitude and attention really stood out and made our dining experience much more enjoyable.
