Friendly , homely , old fashioned , clean and tidy , tea on tap with cake in the afternoon . - What a lovely oldie worldy hotel with friendly staff and so clean . Tea on tap with homemade cake in the afternoon . Lovely pool area . Rooms were spacious with a balcony over looking the pool . The breakfast was nice . The hotel is a two minute walk to the sea front. Eski Foca was very nice with fish restaurants all around the harbour . Plenty of cats around which were very well looked after . Would definitely recommend this hotel for a couple of nights stay
- Alison (8/5): - A lovely oldie worldie hotel with friendly and helpful staff . The bedroom was clean and spacious with a balcony overlooking the pool . The pool and area was nice . The breakfast was nice and a nice touch we were offered on tap tea from the urn all day for free and a homemade cake was available from 3.30pm daily . The hotel has parking in the streets outside and the sea is a two minute walk Plenty of fish restaurants around the harbour and plenty of well fed cats too . A lovely two night stay

- Serena (10/5): - We have very much enjoyed our stay at Foca 1887 Otel! The hotel is conveniently located, only few steps away from Foca's promenade. The room size it perfectly fine for a brief stay and the space was clean. The breakfast abundant, with cute cats coming to greet you.
- Doruk (10/5): Gayet güzel - Çok tatlı bir otel. Odalar ve otel içi temiz, kahvaltı güzeldi. Çalışanlar çok güler yüzlü ve iyi insanlar. Teşekkürler çok memnun kaldık.
- eren (10/5): - Konum olarak oldukça merkeziydi, bu sebeple araba için park yeri bulmak zordu. Girişten ayrılışa kadar ozellikle Damla hanım çok ilgiliydi. Odalar ortalama boyutta ve temizdi. İkinci gün tekrar temizlik istediğimizde planlanan şekilde yapılmıştı. Odalarda klima ve tavan vantilatörü mevcuttu, girişte düşünülüp oda soğutulmuştu. Kahvaltıları çok iyiydi kendi yetiştirdikleri sebzelerin yanında yine kendi ürünlerinden ev yapımı reçeller vardı. Genel olarak memnun kaldığımız keyif aldığımız iki gün geçirdik, başta Damla hanım olmak üzere tüm çalışanlara ilgileri ve hizmetleri icin teşekkürler :)
- Savas (10/5): Küçük şirin otel. - Bir aile tarafından işletilen küçük bir otel. Foça çarşı içinde bir sokak geride denizden. Kahvaltı çok güzel kendi bahçelerinden ürünler var. Çay her daim hazır , saat 5 de kek servisi var. Odalar temiz ama çok dar, küçücük bir balkonu var. 3 gece kaldık çok memnun kaldık.
- gary (10/5): - Beautiful property set in a beautiful location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was beautiful and had everything you would need. My favourite bit was the pool just what was needed with the hot weather. I would definitely come and stay again.

- Canancart (10/5): Family vacation - This is a long over due review but have to day we've never stayed at a hotel treats you literally like their own family before..we were vacationing with my son and chose this hotel upon my cousin's recommendation..it is Truely a gem !! food, cleanliness,lovely stuff always willing to help and at the heart of Foca (stone thrown away from the sea) this hotel has a special place in our hearts..owner Doğa bey was the first one to rush to our room when my son had seizure and followed our ambulance to the hospital and stayed there with us almost until 5 in the morning making sure my son was ok and until he was discharged from the hospital..And brought us back to the hotel.. during the 4 hours hospital stay( when hospital didnt have water) even drove to a gas station got water for the whole family..from the owner to the every single staff ..they were so LOVING and with one word they are the BEST people!Ohh also breakfast was awesome..made with fresh produce grown in their farm..Thank you Doha bey so much and meltem hn,Senem hn ,yigit bey and special thanks to Doga bey's mother ❤️🙏🏼

- francisco (10/5): - Hotel tranquilo, centrico, sin vistas al mar i a tres minutos del paseo marítimo. Dos plantas de ocho habitaciones; la mitad tiene ventanas a la calle y la otra mitad balcones i terraza a un bonito patio arbolado en el que se ha encajado una piscina. Los espacios de vestibulo; salón y terraza de desayuno cuidados al detalle con elementos que sugieren un entorno domestico y agradable. Excelentes y abundantes desayunos de buffet con comida traducional. Atenciones permanentes por parte del personal. A diferencia de muchos establecimientos turcos, aqui son mujeres las que dan atencion al visitante. Hay personal dando atención las venticuatro horas del dia, un lujo. Sin solicitarlo nos asignaron la mejor habitacion del establecimiento. Este trato de proximidad y permanente, con el confort domestico pretendido por la propiedad, hace que sea este pequeño hotel uno de los mejores hoteles donde me he alojado con mi familia.

- marco (10/5): Super hotel for eating and to relax - Lovely people. So friendly and helpful. The hotel's has a very relaxing and cool vibe about it. Tea is on tape and they do afternoon cake. There common areas are nice to just sit in. The homemade food is brilliant. The attention to detail is amazing.

Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was excellent especially the Turkish donuts and organic homemade jams. It was very nice sitting around the pool area. Unlimited cups of tea too! Great location, close to everything. I highly recommend this hotel.
- jeynelle2 (10/5): Beautiful boutique hotel - Foca 1887 is beautiful and meticulously presented. Our room was furnished with lovely antiques and the staff were incredibly attentive, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was generous and included home made organic jams and pisi (similar to a doughnut) which were all delicious. The pool was great and a relaxing place to sit and have tea. Cups of tea were unlimited. The hotel is 1 minute walk to restaurants and the boardwalk for swimming and sunbathing. For its price range, this is a very exceptional and beautiful hotel.

- hulkmiyiz (10/5): One word, excellent.. - It is the only one hotel that I prefer in Foça. The cleanliness of the rooms is excellent. Perfect location. Very friendly hotel owners, and offcourse excellent hospitality. You must try "Pişi" in breakfast. Be sure to get advice from hotel owners for different places to have dinner in Foça, otherwise you may encounter unpleasant surprises.

Covid önlemleri kapsamında yapılan önlemler, bilgilendirme ve yönlendirmeler çok iyi. Temizlikten bahsetmeme gerek bile yok. Bana en çok hitap eden kısmı; misafirperver yaklaşımları oldu.Kaç kişi sabahın altısında otelden ayrılan misafirine yolda yemesi için kahvaltılık hazırlar ki?... Eski Foça'da kalacak başka bir yer için maceraya gerek yok.Adresim belli...

Foça tatlı bir yer ama Foça1887’de kalarak Foça tatilinizi daha da özel yapabilirsiniz; kesinlikle tavsiye ediyorum;)
- merve (10/5): Otelde olduğumuzu unuttuk - Pandemi süresince yorumları okuyarak bu oteli tercih ettik. Otel sahipleri çok sıcak kanlı, güler yüzlü ve sık sık bir ihtiyacınız olup olmadığını soruyorlar. Her ihtiyacınızı da ellerinden geldiğince karşılıyorlar. Kapıdan girer girmez, güzel yüzle karşılandık. Ateşimiz ölçüldü. Standart oda tutmuştuk ancak geleneksel, teraslı odayı tahsis etmişler. Oda son derece ferah, kocaman bir terası var balkona açılan. Çam ağaçlarına ve havuza bakıyor. Oda o kadar zevkli dizayn edilmiş ki! Ayrıca, çarşaflar, havlular bembeyaz ve mis gibi kokuyordu. Her katta ayrıca dezenfektan vardı ve sabun ve sirke ile çok sık temizleniyordu. Klima açmak istemeyenler için tavanda ayrıca vantilatör var. Otel kahvaltı hizmeti veriyor. Açık büfe kahvaltıda her şey bahçeden, taze ve lezzetliydi. Ayrıca pişi, börek ve yumurtalı ekmek ve kendi yaptıkları reçelleri de taze ve lezzetliydi. Sıra beklemeyi önlemek için, sizi masaya oturtup, çay-kahve ikram ediyorlar. Masalar da birbirine oldukça mesafeli. Bu hastalık döneminde açıkçası içimiz çok rahatladı. Otel konum olarak dondurmacının sokağında. Gürültüden uzak, ancak denize ve merkeze oldukça yakındı. O kadar memnun kaldık ki, kesinlikle evimizde gibi ve özel hissettik. Mutlaka bir sonraki konaklamamda yine burayı tercih edeceğiz.

- Mustafa Yigit (10/5): Mükemmel - Beklentimizin çok üzerindeydi. Konum, hizmet ve ambiyans mükemmel. Otel sahipleri çok sıcakkanlı ve güleryüzlü. Bizi kahve ikramı ile karşıladılar ve her konuda çok yardımcıydılar. Pandemi tedbirleri çok sıkı uygulanıyor. Odalar, koridorlar tertemiz. Kahvaltı çok zengin, bol porsiyon. Özellikle kendilerinin ürettiği reçeller muhakkak denenmeli. Hemen önünde denize girebileceğiniz ve güneşlenebileceğiniz çok güzel bir iskele var. Kesinlikle tekrar ziyaret edecegiz.

The couple owning it is absolutely charming and very (repeat, very) welcoming. It is two minutes from the sea, where you can have a morning swim before enjoying breakfast. Otelde kalan müşteri değil de misafirleri gibi ağırladılar bizi. Sevgili Meltem Hanım ve ailesine çok teşekkür ederiz. Pandemi döneminde aldıkları önlemler en üst düzeydeydi. Kaldığımız oda ve otel hem çok temiz hem de çok güzel dekore edilmişti. Kahvaltısı ise tek kelime ile harikaydı. Sadece kahvaltısı için bile gidilir❤️ Otelin konumu çok iyiydi. Her yere 3-4 dk yürüme mesafesi ile ulaştık. Çıkışımızda verdikleri nazik hediye için ayrıca teşekkür ediyoruz. Bundan sonra Foça’da tek adresimiz Foça 1887!
- pinareric (10/5): ❤️ - Neat, clean, hearty, cosy, perfectly located in the old Foca, this place will make you think come back. The couple running the place have obviously put their heart, hard work and perfectionism to the place, from the cleanness to the decoration. (Loved the antique room and bath towels!) It is also worth to mention that we had been road tripping for sometime, and had stayed at quite a few other places before we arrived in Foça. None of them made us feel safe and secure like this hotel under the circumstances of COVID. What I observed is they fully comply with all the prevention standards, unlike many other hotels. A big thank you and keep up the good work.

Gerek odaların temizliği gerekse personelin sürekli temizliğe dikkat etmesi bizim için çok önemliydi. Bu konuda çok iyiler. -Kahvaltı konusunda açık büfe nasıl olacak diye merak ediyorduk. Büfenin etrafını çevirmişler ne istiyorsanız söylüyorsunuz onlar tabağınıza koyuyor.Bu yüzden gayet güvenli. Neredeyse tüm ürünler kendi ürünleri ve aşırı lezzetli açıkçası kilo almaktan korktuk :) Sadece kahvaltısı için bile gelinir. - Ve bizim için en önemlisi güleryüz. Tüm çalışanlar bizi bir aile gibi karşıladı. Sürekli bir isteğiniz var mı soruları, ikramlar, gülen insanlar açıkçası bizi çok memnun etti. - P-Phili (10/5): Unique hotel experience with incredible lovely owners - My mum and I came to Foca for 4 days in October for the screening my film at the Foca Film Days. We were more than happy about the hotel, the neat and lovely designed rooms, the delicious breakfast and the welcoming atmosphere. The hotel is owned by a young couple who has put their heart into the design of the spaces. Furnitures and decoration are selected carefully with lots of attention to detail and hand craft. They also have a small boutique with delicious self made jam ranging from apple to lavender:) We started our mornings with a quick swim in the sea just around the corner. The water is clean and calm and wonderful refreshing. As it is a small town, everything is in walking distance - the cultural center, the restaurants, bars etc are close by. We one more time want to thank for having us in your oasis :) we really had wonderful days and despite our busy schedule we felt relaxed and enjoyed every moment. All the best Petra & Philine <3

- Ali Emre (10/5): Harika - Ertelediğimiz balayını Foça'daki bu tatlı otelde yapmak istedik. Rezervasyonda standart oda seçmemize ve balayı durumunu ek olarak belirtmememize rağmen bize balkonlu ve havuz manzaralı odayı vermeleri bizi çok mutlu etti. Gün içindeki ücretsiz kek ve çay servisi güzel düşünülmüş. Ortam sessiz ve görsel açıdan tüm detaylar incelikle düşünülmüş. Çalışanları ve otel sahibelerinin güler yüzleri bizi mutlu etti. Foça'da artık bu otelden başka bir yere gideceğimi sanmıyorum. Bir dahaki tatilimizde daha uzun kalmayı planlıyorum. Her şey için teşekkürler.
- emrea918 (10/5): Simply Excellent - Staying at this centrally-located small hotel complements the whole experience you get in the Old Town of Foca wonderfully. The hotel is very nicely decorated and the warmness of the staff makes you feel like you are home. All areas including the pool and the room were extremely clean all the time we were there. The backyard area by the pool was very relaxing. Breakfast was excellent with locally grown vegetables, olives, homemade jams, homemade bread, and pastries. We hope that we can visit Foca again one day, and if we go, we would definitely stay at the same place...
- Azize Senem (10/5): Hem keyifli , hem zevkli - Otel son derece zevkli ve zarif döşenmiş. Tam merkezde ama bir arka sokakta kaldığı için gürültüden uzak. Biz havuza bakan 2.kat odada kaldık, çok aydınlık ve ferah bir odaydı. Kahvaltı ev yapımı ürünlerden oluşan, tam kararındaydı. Çalışan herkes son derece güleryüzlü ve yardımseverdi. Otelin önünden denize girmek mümkün. Ya da yine otelin biraz ilerisinden geçen dolmuşlarla 7-8dk mesafedeki özel plajlara da gitmek mümkün. Foça denizi ahım şahım bir deniz değilse de kendisi küçük, sevimli ve keyifli bir yer. Oteli ise herkese tavsiye ederim. Aradığınızdan fazlasını bulacaksınız.

- Funda (10/5): - Çok içten şekilde karşılandık misafirperverliklerinden dolayı teşekkür ederim. Havuz olması bir artı olmakla birlikte havuzda ki yaprak arı vs temizliği biraz eksikti. Bunun dışında kahvaltı çok lezizdi
- Verified traveler (10/5): İstisnasız her şey çok iyi - Otelde zevksiz tek bir ayrıntı yoktu. Her şey hem işlevsel açıdan düşünülmüş, hem de göze hitap edecek şekilde hazırlanmış. En küçük odaları bile ihtiyaçlara hitap edecek bir alana dönüştürülmüş. Temizlik konusunda gayet hassaslardı. Kahvaltısı ise doyduğunuza üzüleceğiniz kadar özenli ve güzeldi. Konumu merkezde ve denize girilebilen iskelelere 100 metre uzaklıkta. Balkonu ise ağaçlı avlulara ve havuza bakıyor. Park yeri ise bir sokak arkada belediyenin sağladığı ücretsiz otopark. Kendine özel bir park alanı yok ama zaten bu bölgede bu tip bir şey mümkün de değil. Hangi otelde kalırsanız kalın bu durum geçerli. Son olarak, istisnasız bütün çalışanlar nazik ve ilgiliydi. Bir dahaki konaklamamda müsaitlik soracağım ilk otel burası olacak.
- Engin (10/5): Kusursuz - Foça da konaklama yapmayı düşünüyorsanız kesinlikle seçenekler arasına almalısınız.

- ciliciandude (10/5): Wonderful. - This is the most beautiful hotel i ever seen so far. Every single detail in rooms, kitchen, hall, pool area and outside are very fine. All the workers and owner very kindly and helpful, they always smile and asks youf you want anything or else. Everything was very clean by the way. Everyone; couples, families or friend groups can stay here and leave very happy i think.

- NurcanSO (10/5): Perfect! - We stayed here for three days and everything was perfect. You don't only see the cosiness, but rather feel it when you step in the building. I have visited many different hotels, but I have never witnessed such courtesy. Thanks to their advice, we had a great experience in town too. Our room was the antique one and it was immaculately kept. It was also spacious. As for the breakfast, it was organic and fresh. All those jams and dried tomatoes are still in my dreams! Its location was another plus. It's both in the middle of everything but, at the same time , it was isolated from the hassle. So, I would definitely recommend this place to enjoy beautiful Foça. When you go there, do not forget to enjoy the complimentary pastry and tea served during the day!

- 842hamdia (10/5): Everything nice.. - This is a family hotel very close to the seaside and center. The hotel is new, nicely decorated, can find all the little details in the rooms. You can have home made jam and other goods during breakfast and the family is very welcoming. There is even a small garden and a pool. You wont be dissapointed here..
- 981alistairb (10/5): The small city is a beautiful place, the Hotel Foca 1887 perfectly complements your stay - The greatest complement I can pay to the hotel and the small City of Foca is I booked my room for two weeks in September and extended my stay to a year! The city is steeped with history, culture and fantastic cuisine and is breathtakingly beautiful. The hotel is boutique and has everything you need for a relaxing, highly enjoyable stay. If there is availability, opt for a balcony room. A combination of a beautiful, historic, fully refurbished building - perfect facilities (including a pool!) and amazing rooms, the spotlessly clean and well appointed family run hotel will not disappoint in any way. One minute walk from the crystal clear azure waters of the Aegean Sea, three minutes walk from the "City Centre" with an abundance of cafes, restaurants and shops.. there is nothing to fault the enchantment of Foca and the "1887" for those looking for an amazing holiday in one of the most unspoiled locations I have ever been to. If you decide to come, you MUST try the local Hamam (Turkish steam room).. if you have never experienced one, it's a life experience you need to cross off your list - you cannot fathom how fantastic they are until you have tried.

Staff is very friendly , helpful and kind. Breakfast was delicious and homemade things next to the pool. Location is just near the sea, 2 min walk and opposite of the hospital. In a very quiet street. Recommended to everyone!
- Jessica (10/5): Wonderful retreat in Foça! - I arrived with a fairly large group of friends late on a Tuesday evening. The night receptionist was so helpful and friendly during check-in, and when we arrived in the rooms they were perfect––the details, from the bathroom tiles to the embroidered pillows, are beautiful, and our room had a nice balcony over the pool. Everyone on the staff was lovely and the breakfast was delicious, too! Our only regret is that we had one night in the hotel and couldn't stay longer.

- lucyn197 (8/5): Gem of a family run cosy place - Recently refurbished in tasteful and comfortable style, thus place is clean, quiet, well looked after and well placed in the town. Walk round the corner and you are on the quayside with a good range of fish restaurants. There's a few bars but nothing too rowdy. The hotel has spotless rooms with stylish bathrooms and all with nice balconies or large windows. Tasteful old furniture (including the beds which are pretty solid and creaky tbh) and none of the normal hideous chintzy style the Turkish seem to love. Great breakfast next to the pool and surrounding neighbours back gardens, with home grown veg and home baked goods. Recommended.
- _Q2542YT (10/5): Sweat harmony - Great location, in the center of old foca. Very clean and quite. Nice colors and taste in furniture. Lovely bathroom and towels. Very comfortable bed, although it was very soft. The hotel has just been refurbished. Deffenatly worth it.
