Guest Reviews
- Gil (4/5): - Room
Was small air vent wasnt working was hot small bed civerd with paper ahit like at doctors office
Couldnt sleep a moment wasnt happy about this experince
- Marco (2/5): - Could not check in. Stuck waiting over an hour for support to fix my reservation. 10PM finally got in and at 11 someone opened my sleeping capsule because the admin team buzzed them in saying it was free. Left at 4AM to use the washroom and got locked out again. Called 20 times nobody answered. Finally after 35 minutes at 4:35 someone picked up and let me in. Cool idea but very poor execution. Bed was ripped but the place was 6/10 clean at least which was is manageable (if you can get in). Staff never apologized for the inconveniences or letting someone into my room and just blamed expedia.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This is a nice place for resting if you need to spend the night at the airport
- Milana (2/5): - Ei toiminut kunnolla ja henkilökuntaan sai vaikeasti yhteyttä
- Ina (10/5): - Everything is ok. Good design if you need stay in airport for the night
Only one video terminal works, and it works very slowly. You will have to wait a long time after the previous client.
Bed surface is torn and it scratches your skin (room8)
- Spencer (8/5): - It was fine for what it was. Quick and easy at the airport and only used for a quick nap before flight but a bit dirty
- Yosra (2/5): - Mauvaise expérience !
- Eugenio Libero (2/5): - Impossible to sleep in
- Koki (2/5): -
- Diego (2/5): not for me - Probably not for me - the good thing is that you have privacy rather than sleeping on the floor / on a chair of the airport.
The less positive:
- So. Much. Noise. From people opening doors to the announcements of the airport every 30 minutes, from the
chats of the people outside to the ventilation system.
- the screen in my pod did not work, which basically meant the light could not turned be off
As i slept probably 1 hour, I'd say it makes more sense to spend a little bit more and get a proper bed in a hotel nearby.
- Salvatore (4/5): enregistrement catastrophique!
- Andrea (10/5): A comfy escape - The bed is like a doctor’s couch with no blanket or pillow but the room is warm (I slept in shorts and a t shirt) and I used folded clothes for a pillow. It was very easy to access the room and felt secure. Overall a great experience and I would book again!
- Thomas (2/5): Find somewhere else! - We might have misunderstood the concept slightly, but considered the price the pods cost and the absolutely lack of ANYTHING, this was by fair the least amount of "bang-for-buck".
The pods are extremely uncomfortable, there is not covers, blankets or pillows, the room has no real ventilation, so it becomes unbreathable inside even with a few people sleeping in the pods, there are no toilets in the pods or nearby in the airport, there is quite some noise and so on goes the list.
The location is of course great as it is placed inside the airport, but honestly, it's not worth it. Get up 30 minutes earlier and sleep in a real bed, not a doctors examination table.
GREED
- Estefania (10/5): - Se encuentra muy cerca de Piccadilly
- Sean (8/5): - It was good did the job
- Verified traveler (2/5): Truly terrible - This place is absolutely not worth the price. I wasn't expecting luxury but there are not even toilets within a close distance. You have to go to the public ones in the airport which are quite a walk. There is no bedding, just a hospital-style sheet, so no blanket or pillow. I was very cold in the night. The WiFi did not work at all either. So I would fully recommend staying in a hotel near the airport rather than here. The benefit of proximity to departures/arrivals is also offset by the 8pm check-in and 8am checkout.
No te esperes
- Kayla (8/5): - Good enough for a night in airport at decent price, WiFi wasn’t working though. Light features were a nice touch.
- Luigi (2/5): - Terribile
- Oana (6/5): Needs better cleaning, ventilation and quieteness - The idea is really good but it as not clean - there were a lot of crums from bread or some sort of pastries next to the bed. Also the person before me picked his/her nose and there was his buggers on the wall next to where you lay down - it made my stomach turn.
If you go to the toilet and come back you feel the ventilation can't really keep up - there was a really stale smell of people's breaths in the whole area.
Also, it needs to be stressed in the capsule with posters or somesort of communication besides the videos (people skip those) that people should understand these are not rooms - we can hear when someone is on the phone with girlfriend for almost 1h - it was annoying.
- Verified traveler (6/5): A needs must - The room was more spacious than thought to be however had issues delaying my stay as I could not get in and then couldn’t leave as I could not use the screens. Mattress was ripped too.
- Peter (6/5): Good for layovers at Bergamo airport - This capsule hotel is best for people who have a late night flight at Bergamo airport or a long layover at night. If you are able to get into the city (and it's not that far, only a 10-15 minute bus ride), it is probably a more comfortable option to stay at a hotel there. The bed is really one of those cushioned tables you sit at when you go to the doctor's office. There is no blanket, sheet, or pillow. You can hear everything in the other compartments, and can hear any time someone comes in. You have to use the airport bathrooms, which are a long walk from the capsule hotel. That said, its location is very convenient in the airport and it is very clean. It is well kept and well run for what it is, but don't expect the comforts of a hotel room.
- Marco (2/5): - Orrible experience, so high cost for a "bed" without blankets and pillow, dirty, with a brokem plug and with the central screen that didn't work. All this and I paid 70€ for a night.
Don't go here.
- Antonio (8/5): - Comoda logisticamente, va migliorata l'insonorizzazione
- Tone (2/5): - Not a good experience for me. There was no blanket or anything to cover yourself and you were lying on a sticky fake leather mattress.
- Verified traveler (6/5): expensive, lack of comfort - noisy, hard to sleep when everyone starts to come in the middle of the night and settle into their rooms.
couch for sleeping uncomfortable, without bed linen, no towels. cold to sleep
the airport public toilet is far from the capsule hotel.
the only plus of this hotel is the ability to lie down and wait for your early flight lying on the bed and not sitting in the airport lobby
- Gerard (2/5): - If I were being kind I’d say that the facilities were convenient if you had an early flight, safer and cleaner than sleeping in a doorway, but not much more comfortable.
If I were being honest I’d say it was the worst nights sleep I’ve ever had. There was a hard, surface to sleep on, no pillow and no bedding. People were entering and exiting the adjoining areas very noisily all through the night which made sleeping impossible. Never ever again!
- Rita (2/5): - The cleaning crew messed up and my room wasn't ready for me. Except this was after 10pm. And there weren't other rooms. And there wasn't anyone who could fix it. Customer service was ok but I still haven't received my refund.
Also, in case it's unclear, there are not showers and you have to use the airport bathrooms. Not a big deal if you are in the know but if you're not, now you know. I couldn't sleep anywhere and had to sleep at a table in the airport instead. Unacceptable.
STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND.
- francesco (2/5): Avoid - upon checkin was asked for a phone number that didnt work, terrible experience and support/emergency number dead with no one to pick up calls.
- Mika (2/5): - Very dirty place and nothing worked.
- Francesca (8/5): - Convenient location and good price
- Piu (10/5): - It is very hot inside the cabins. The ventilation is very poor.
- maurizio (10/5): - disponibili ecordiali
- bektash (2/5): - The check in was not until 8 pm and this was not made clear at the time of the booking.
- GIORGIO (6/5): Barebone and convenient with glitches - The capsule was a bit worn down and the touch screen display was broken. The platform messed up with my phone number and I had to call customer service to figure out how to get in.
For varmt for meg.
- Avigdor Yoram (2/5): - Not only did their system not work and I was left sleeping outside on the floor. Their customer service also did not go through, despite three phone calls I made (voicemail in Italian that says you can leave a message). They are also not willing to give me the money
- hala (6/5): Only stay if you must - Only stay here if you must...i was a solo female traveller so i opted to stay here instead if having to take a taxi or bus in a late night flight.
This cubicle can be much better....it can offer bedding like a hotel....but it's actually completely empty and offers nothing.....very poorly designed
- Luca (6/5): - I couldn't fly this day in the end. I would have cancelled but they don't offer even partial refunds so why bother. Would be smarter and more convenient for everyone to offer at least partial refunds - travelers get some money back, and they get part of the price can put the room back for sale.
- Jeroen (2/5): Awful - Too much noise and light, toilets far away, no sheets or pillow. Never again.
- Alberto (8/5): good option - it is good if you have to stay few hours
- Verified traveler (6/5): - My stay here was very convenient before an early flight out of Orio Airport. However, being one of the cheapest options right inside the terminal, you get what you pay for. Although the pod was quite and provided a secure place for you and your belongings, the accommodation lacked some basic amenities that you would expect from any hotel or hostel. There are NO bathrooms and NO showers. You need to walk down the hall and use the public bathroom inside the airport, and there is no access to a shower at all. In addition, the beds were not very comfortable and were reminiscent of a doctor's examination table. Overall, if you are looking for an inexpensive place to crash, it's a decent option, but just know that it is cheap for a reason.
- Brad (2/5): - The idea of an automated cube room hotel is not bad. But the fundamental reason for a hotel is to be able to sleep. One can hardly do that there: the noise, lack of evan a blanket, the shared shower that does not exists, the check-in time (8:00 PM?), the complete lack of signage are all signs that this is just a half baked idea, not sustainable in the long run. If you are a traveller, avoid it. If you have invested in the company, sell as soon as you can.
- samuel (6/5): uncomfortable but cheap - if you need to stay in the airport for less than 8 hours due to a very early flight, then it's manageable, but this is not comfortable, but it is fairly quiet but also quite small. you need your own sheets and perhaps an air pillow to be minimally comfortable. I also did not receive check-in instructions from Hotels.com or ZZZleepandGo. I had to call twice to get details.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Its better than sleeping on the floor in the airport but its noisy and hot.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Ok i have walking all around the airport before finding the place...maybe you could invest in signs to direct your guests...especially at night when there is military barrier just outside your entrance
- Mairead (2/5): Mairead - Sorry never went on holiday 😔as my mother was sick so did not experience the adventure! But would not have done anyway as your pods are not open 24 hours . I had a four hour stopover and had booked but did not realise open only at nite. Should be all day as more people would avail of this service . I have bad arthritis and a two hour lying down would have been great 👍
Thank you for your time reading this email
Mairead
- Sabrina (6/5): - It was very very hot in the room. The concept is nice... but the actual experience was not. The heat was unbearable. The fan didn’t work properly. The ceiling cover didn’t close all the way so it wasn’t dark in the room. The heat made it smell funny as well.
Not a good experience. I couldn’t sleep at all.
