Guest Reviews
- ALIYOU (6/5): - Clean room
- TIm (2/5): - Carpet was blood stained and floor in restaurant filthy
- Boyd (2/5): - If you happen to get storm stayed in this town and the last room available is at the Sharptail, go buy a sleeping bag and stay in your car. This place is disgustingly dirty. All the towels and sheets are stained, the carpets weren’t vacuumed, the bathtub and vanity hadn’t been cleaned in several weeks. You can also see daylight around the air conditioner in the wall. There were ants crawling everywhere and the staff tried to charge me extra at check in compared to what the Expedia bill was. Avoid this place at all costs!
- Lawrence (2/5): Poor skills with customers - Dirty, dirty, and tv barely worked. I had an emergency to take care of on Thursday evening. I spoke with manager and he say says ya....so?...I'm not giving you $ back....low life scum
- Shantelle (8/5): - Staff was quick to help with all needs.
- Charles (2/5): - A real dive!
- albert (6/5): - It wasn’t amazing but it wasn’t bad.
- Earl (8/5): My stay at Sharptail - Some repairs in bathroom not completed. Unable to shut water off completely.
Meals in dining room very good lots if food at reasonable prices
- Omowumi (2/5): - It will be lovely if the room can be clean and good beddings. It’s a horrible place to sleep. I couldn’t sleep cos it stinks. Wifi is zero.. I bathroom not clean. I also found some hair on d bed . It’s an horrible experience
- Verified traveler (6/5): No Breakfast - Room was advertised as including a free breakfast but the restaurant was closed in the morning and no one was around. Saw other hotel guests eating breakfast at the gas station restaurant as well. Staff was working hard and seemed nice, but the building could use some refresh.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Very unclean and disgusting - The rooms were dirty. Lots and lots of human hair on the pillow, beddings, room had a smell, I couldn’t believe I paid nearly $80 for that room for a night
- Verified traveler (4/5): - It's close to my work and it's cheap. There's no office, i got my key at the bar.
- Ben (6/5): Bad night made better! - The room could use some repair but upon my arrival to Ashern I went looking for supper. I did arrive around quarter to nine in the evening. First stop I made was at the local Chicken chef i was ignored as I stood at the cash hoping to place an order. I then proceeded to the Petro Canada on the highway as I had been told they were open 24 hrs. There i was told restaurant closed. So I made my way to the sharptail motor inn. Upon arrival there the younger bar tender said i had just missed the kitchen. As I was checking in the owner I assume came and said he could do anything that didn't require the grill! It was after 9pm at this point I was very hungry not having eaten since noon. I was very grateful. Thanks!
- Patrick (8/5): - Bon rapport qualité prix.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Unless there is a snow storm, keep driving. Place is run down and should be torn down. Bar next door where the night life is not entertaining. Makes you want to stay up all night standing guard over your vehicle and room.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Okay - Very friendly ans helpful staff and the rooms are clean. As this motel could use updates I don't really care to complain about that. My only issue was there was a ton of water damage under the sink in the wall and the floor that should be looked into as its a bit concerning. The rest of the experience was fine though and I'd stay there again.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - They offer a free breakfast and it’s at 11:00 most if not all who travel are down the road a couple hundred miles by that time nothing free if you have to loss a couple of hrs travel time if you are on a schedule so not impreeed by that offer at allroom very dated and needs better maintaning
- Blaine (2/5): - Reserved two rooms on hotels.com and when we went to check in they had no reservations or rooms for us, I showed the confirmation number and was basically laughed at, hotels.com do not send confirmation if the hotel hasn’t been contacted!!!!!
