Erick (10/5): Exceptional - Lumbum and his family were very kind, welcoming and helpful hosts. The hotel is located in the immediate vicinity of Labrang monastery. The lobby is large and beautiful and the rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean. The hotel has a restaurant with a wide choice of Tibetan and Chinese dishes, all excellent. Also, Lumbum speaks very good English. He can arrange a pick up service from the bus station as well as private transportation in the surrounding area and to the Xiahe airport, for a very decent price. Most useful because the location when you search "Tibetan Family Hotel" on Google Maps cannot be trusted (however, the location indicated on Booking.com works better). All in all, one of the best hotels I visited during my stay in China/Tibet, with the greatest hosts!
