• Joshua (5/5): Mediocre, okay 👌🏻 - Location, pretty spacious. Heating didn’t work properly, nor one of the showers temperature wise. The door handle to my bedroom came straight off upon first time opening it. There was some unknown marks on the walls, iron burns in the carpet in one of the rooms which the pictures don’t state. Had a good time but quite a few things could have been better… Enjoy the aftershave that I accidentally left though 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️😂 We also weren’t aware of the location before booking, be aware of drag queens trying to chat you up if your a group of lads 😂
• Kathryn (6/5): Good location, clean and comfortable. - Location was really close to the station and to various places that we wanted to visit. The beds were really comfortable and the property was clean. The water was fairly tepid when we got there, and didn't warm up at all, although I didn't realise it wasn't working properly for a couple of days. Once I did realise, it seemed a little late to mention it, so we just put up with it.
• Izabela (5/5): You get what you pay for. - I really appreciate how communicative the hosts are. The location is good, fairly close to main nightlife. The tv wasn’t working, we had to connect internet from our phones. One of the showers wasn’t working properly so the 7 of us mainly used one shower which was a bit of a pain. Then the biggest disappointment was the amount of noise and how hot it was in the apartment. We arrived and realised that the heating was on. We were very hot. We knew we were staying in the Gay Village part but we weren’t aware that the apartment is bang on above the night clubs. The parties were going on till 4/5 in the morning and at 6 the glass was collected so we barely got any sleep.

• Sarah (7/5): - Apartment was clean and comfortable as stated in pictures & description The single bed is not usable. It needs replacing and made for a uncomfortable sleep for one of our guests. The lift is out of order which isn't clearly stated before booking. We had 2 older guests travelling with us so this was a little bit of an inconvenience for them. Bathroom door scraps across the floor. Most concerning was the hole in the door covered with plasters where a lock had once been.
• Soffía (2/5): - To start with was the lift not working, there was a terrible smell when we walked into the apartment and the home is in need of a lot of improvement. One of the showers was not working, dirty walls, dirty floor carpets and the beds were terrible. There is a lot of noice around the apartment since it is on canal street.

Single bed in first bedroom quite lumpy. Damp patch in kitchen, but apart from these little issues Great place to stay

• Jordan (9/5): Perfect location - The location was perfect for us, we wanted a night out in canal street and the location couldn’t have been better. We were very happy with that. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen had everything we needed for one night. The only thing is the noise from the location but that’s nothing to do with the property at all. It’s the price you pay for the location. Just the only thing If I had to pick something

Høy musikk til kl 6 om morgenen på klubb i samme bygg + utenfor soveromsvinduer. Ingen ventilasjon, centralvarme stod på full guffe og vaktmester klarte ikke skru ovnene av.

• Khalifa (9/5): Pleasant family stay - We (family with 4 children) had pleasant two days stay at this place. In terms of location, the apartment is centrally located with short walk and easy access to the train and the city center. Cleanliness. Excellent Amenities. Almost everything is available. Surroundings. Many restaurants/bars and as this place located next to a bar, you might hear some noise if you keep the windows open. The host is very helpful and provides comprehensive information for the check-in/check out with other useful details. In general our stay was pleasant & we didn't complain from anything.
• Claire (8/5): Great location, comfortable beds - Apartment was very central and location was fab for us. Close to rail links and shopping. Beds were comfortable. Kitted out with what we needed. Bathrooms need a bit of work. Shower only half a screen, cracked sink, carpets quite stained.

• Siân (7/5): Great for a hen party and amazing location - Spacious, amazing location and had everything you needed in the apartment We couldn’t find the TV remote, the light switch in the double bedroom was off the wall and didn’t work, the boiler in the 4 person bedroom was horrendously loud, the shower pressure was not great and the water didn’t get that warm The apartment was not very tidy when we arrived and there were half drank coke cans on the bedside tables
• Sophie (7/5): Lovely apartment, but clean mould-free bathrooms would have made our stay a 10/10 as everything else was spot on. - Lovely big apartment in a central location. Comfortable seating area, nice furniture, everything we needed in the kitchen, lovely bedrooms, good contact with hosts and details given on how to gain access. The bathrooms are mouldy and old, sink is cracked, shower door broken and doesn’t close properly, need to be refurbished, toilet didn’t flush properly in second bathroom. Lots of mould over tiles and grouting which made it feel dirty, there were long dark hairs over the floor (perhaps from the cleaners as also found in the kitchen). This was the only thing that let the property down, even just bleaching the mould off the tiles and grout would have been a big improvement. The link for how to dispose of our rubbish afterwards didn’t work in the checkout instructions, I did message the hosts about this but seemed to get an automated response rather than an actual answer. The noise detector in the apartment was a bit of a pain, I understand the rationale for having one, but we weren’t having a party and there were only 6 of us, we had a small speaker on a low volume and the noise detector seemed to be activated by us talking and laughing a lot of the time.
• Derek (10/5): We had a fantastic 3 night stay, the hosts were fantastic with us from start to finish, any questions we had were respon - This property is in a perfect location for anyone wanting to enjoy Canal Street and also everything that Manchester City centre has to offer, we were a group of 9 friends and loved the fact we could all be in one place.

• Hollie (8/5): Very good - The location was great. The beds were very comfy and even though we were near bars, there was not much noise. The flat was spacious and clean. I appreciated that the check out time was 11, it gave us plenty of time to get up and get everything sorted before leaving, without having to rush There was no hot water and the pressure in the shower wasn’t the best. Initially, we went to drop our bags off 30 minutes before check in and the cleaners were only just arriving. I don’t believe they would have been finished by our check in time

Check in and check out was convenient and simple and guide sent previous to stay was very useful and informative. We discovered things we could do thanks to all of this information. Hosts were very helpful before arrival and quick to respond. Was confident as it's been a while since the reviews regarding cleanliness were posted that the issue would be rectified by now. Sadly not the case. Particularly one of the bathrooms. Hadn't even been swept prior to our arrival or wiped down, back splash of something on the walls beside the toilet which was horrible. Dirty ear buds on shelf in the bedroom. Mentioned this privately to hosts on check out but disappointed to not have heard back especially when they were very quick to respond prior to our arrival! Cleanliness lets the apartment down and would prevent people from returning or recommending it. Also unfortunately and not hosts fault but this is not the place for you if you plan on getting some sleep. Windows are far too thin, I actually thought they were open when in bed the first night as the noise levels are so bad. Finally falling asleep between 3-4am to be woken at 7am on a Saturday morning to the city council emptying hundreds of glass bottles into the back of the bin lorry. Pack ear plugs might help!

Telly in living room too small for the size of the room, however it was quite easy to move the unit forward as the cables were long.

The bedrooms were very spacious and the whole property was well furnished. The bathroom was a little tired. The shower door doesn’t close properly and the hot tap in the bathroom is loose. It’s all clean though and very useable.

• Laily09 (10/5): Lovely apartment in the city - The instruction for check in and out was made known to us thru messages and videos which was so convenient. The apartment is so spacious and comfortable. I love the big kitchen for preparing meals and we are able to sit together at the dining table for our breakfast and dinner. The location is walking distance to the city. The lift is not working so check in and out with big luggage up and down the stairs are tiring. Unfortunately there was some fights going on around 4am in the morning on our first night that woke me from my sleep. We can hear noises from the bedrooms almost every night.

Bathrooms could have been cleaner, the paintwork looked grubby around skirting boards. The door on one of the bedrooms didn't close and was hanging on only one hinge.

Tampon applicator on the floor and taps, drains, floors and skirtings needed a clean. Mattress and pillow protectors would be good. The lift is out of order and we struggled up 4 sets of stairs to the second floor. There was only one tea bag for our arrival.

• Sarah (9/5): Fabulous apartment and location - Apartment is very large and amazing location! So close to train station and on canal Street so lots of fun around. The windows are thin so can hear some outside noise. However positively it above a late night bar so as a large group we were then not worried about being too noisy.
