Wunderschönes, sehr sauberes und toll eingerichtetes Haus. Sämtliche Lebensmittel zur freien Verfügung, so dass man sich nahezu ein Hotel ähnliches Frühstück selbst zaubern kann. Auch im Bad werden Hygieneartikel bereitgestellt. Eric selbst ist immer wieder präsent, fragt ob alles gut ist und gibt einem ein gutes Gefühl. Parkplätze direkt vor der Tür. Es gibt rein gar nichts auszusetzen.

The property representative in Ireland - charges variable rates to students at Moorepark that book directly with him and then increases the prices via phone when it comes to leaving the rent in CASH - This is the reason that I booked though Booking.com on this occasion. The property is in a prime location for the collegeI but I would not recommend staying here.

The wifi worked well and there is a service station right across the road with a few shops (subway and McDonald also). If you want to walk into Fermoy town centre it’s doable although the house is slightly out of the town centre.

- Norma (8/5): Overall we would recommend Moorepark House and would book again - Communication regarding check in could be more informative. Although an e-mail was recieved regarding instructions on the day of our arrival I was unable to gain access to my emails therefore sending a text message would have been beneficial to us regarding the check in pin codes to gain access. As there were two properties with the same house name at first it was unclear which house we were in. On finally speaking to our host we were also initially sent to the wrong accomodation and had to be moved. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable but the pillows were not. The furnishings are a little tired. The bathroom was a bit chilly without any heating. A hairdryer in the rooms would be a good idea without having to ask for one. Also a mirror near a plug for the hair dryer use would be good. Allthough there were TV's in the room one of them had no signal and there were no operating instructions. As our rooms were on the ground floor we did hear a lot of footstep noise from the rooms above so I assume that they had hard flooring. The shared kitchen facilies were well stocked clean and plenty of room. The property is well located for access to the motorway so travelling to visit places of interest was easy. - Gerard (6/5): functional - Ok I'm only trying to help the owner and please don't take this too critical but the rooms are very obviously been made to accommodate multiple occupancy probably due to the influx of immigrants. This is not a political statement simply an observation. The rooms therefore lack in a bit of finesse and are simply a place to sleep without any of the touches that make a room special. The bedding plain, the room plain, the bathroom plain. Nothing wrong as such as everything works(except the TV) its just lack lustre. Bed linen could be more appealing. Tv's need to work without having a degree in technology. Rooms need a little more loving.

- Michael (7/5): Comfortable and met our needs. Small improvements needed. - Apartment bed clean, roomy and comfortable. Flat room 4 fine. Bed comfortable. Quiet and pleasant surroundings. Apartment oven, pans and trays need a good clean. Toilet brush horrendous.
- Julia (10/5): - I would recommend this place to anyone who goes to Cork. Spacious and quiet. We went with our 15 and 9 years old boys and they didn’t get bored as they had their own beds and plenty of plugs to charge their devices. There’s a telly as well where you can login to your favourite streaming services. Internet is super fast, as you can imagine, that’s another reason why kids were not bored. LOL. The communal kitchen is spacious so if you run into another guest, you won’t have that “awkward moment” where you don’t know where to look at to avoid eye contact. Clean towels, bedding, toilet and kitchen. Minor criticism is that as we were leaving the place, we checked behind the couches just to make sure we were not forgetting anything, we found some rubbish that wasn’t ours and it was old meaning that, that rubbish it’s been there for quite some time so that needs a bit of attention by management and cleaning staff. Don’t worry, you won’t need to bring you “forensic’s equipment” to check the room out! Just something I thought to mention because however small, it is important. If you don’t say anything, it cannot be fixed. The staff was super helpful, one of the nights, I had the keys whilst my husband and kids wanted to go back to the place so they couldn’t get in. My husband contacted the emergency phone number they provided and within FIVE minutes, the manager turned up with a spare set of keys! Over all, super recommend.

- Robyn Wickenden (8/5): Convenient location, cozy unit. - Good location just off the motorway. We were in a separate unit designed for disabled access as a family of 4 adults. We had a full kitchen that was equipped with one large pot and multiple frying pans, a microwave, hob, and oven and full sized fridge/freezer. Shower pressure was good. Seating wasnt enough for 4 adults in the lounge area, although there were 6 wooden chairs around the table. Accessing the toilet after people had showers (you had to walk through the wet area) was quite treacherous. Need some sort of non slip mat; we used towels. The bunk beds weren't really suitable for adults as the mattresses were too thin, so the wire base was uncomfortable and the beds squeaky.

- Amanda (8/5): - The property is perfectly located and easy to find. The facilities were perfect for a short self catering stay. Perfect for families. Blackout/darker blinds needed. Especially on the front door as you get blinded by the sun as you’re watching TV.

- Denise (7/5): Nothing Fancy but Comfortable Accommodation - Location for Mitchelstown and Fermoy was good. House just off M8 but not much else around. Room was a good size but was very dark (even with light on). Nothing fancy but comfortable accommodation. Fridge seemed to be well stocked for breakfast and there was a good range of cereals. Breakfast time was very chaotic. We headed down around 8.15am and there was a group of 5 already there and settled. Then a group of 10 came in. Waiting for your turn to boil the one kettle and use the microwave (for porridge) took about 15 minutes. I'm glad we were not cooking a Full Irish Breakfast. Signs on presses as to where things are would greatly assist, rather than having to open every press before finding what you are looking for (like cups, plates etc). More fruit (there was only apples) and perhaps some yogurt available for breakfast would be great. Person(s) walking about the room above us all night which led to very bad nights sleep.

- Bill (3/5): Facilities were poor resulting in a bad night sleep and poor start to the day - Free access to kitchen for Breakfast was good Rooms were badly fitted with poor quality tables and bathroom fittings, Quilt on bed was too small and did not cover the bed. Some rooms had a separate bathroom located upstairs, so not very convenient. Bathroom mirror was about 4 feet from ground, had to stoop to shave.

- Ineke (9/5): Een geweldig verblijk, kom zeker nog een keer terug en blijf dan langer. - De geweldige locatie, vriendelijk ontvangst, ruime slaapkamer met een hele grote badkamer met een ruime douche en een bubbelbad. Een keuken waar iedereen zijn eigen eten kan koken en echt alles is aanwezig!! Een eigen plekje in de koelkast, er staat zelfs melk, brood, broodbeleg zoet, fruit ter beschikking om te eten als ontbijt. Het is er heerlijk rustig en veel groen om je heen. Ik kan echt niets bedenken. Wat me wel opviel was dat er mensen zijn die misbruik maken van de gastvrijheid en ook de aangeboden gratis produkten.

- Noemie (6/5): Un stop pratique entre Rosslare et Killarney ! - La mise à disposition de lait, oeufs, pain et céréales pour se faire des supers petits déjeuner. Cela apporte un réel plus. La personne qui gère le lieux était très prolifique en bons conseils. La chambre était vraiment moyennement agencée. Tout était vieux et on avait l'impression d'avoir une chambre non aménagée pour la location touristique (type maison de retraite) alors que nous avons pu jeter des coups d'oeil aux autres chambres et elles étaient beaucoup plus agréables (Chambre 3).
- Jolene (10/5): Cozy B&B with many food options - When we arrived the innkeeper was mopping the main area floor and advised us of all the amenities available to us during our stay. She recommended a wonderful seafood restaurant in Cork for our dinner as well. The room was just as we expected from the website. The beds were comfortable, and everything was clean. It was hot during our stay so she had the window open to ventilate the room. This worked out perfectly and it was not too hot while we slept. We did not use the common room very much as we had early plans the next day and just grabbed a quick breakfast. The fridge was stocked with al sorts of breakfast food for you to use as well as tons of cereal options. These are all available to use during the stay. Overall the stay was excellent and right off the main road, so very easy to find. I would recommend this for a stay if you are anywhere near Cork or traveling Southern Ireland. There is tons of parking and the location has its own gated driveway so it’s very secluded from tourists/traffic.

La cucina comune è fornitissima e permette di preparare colazioni (viene fornito tutto l’occorrente come latte, cereali, burro) e cene (ampia scelta di padelle e suppellettili varie). Esperienza veramente piacevole. Niente.

- Sean (10/5): - I travel up and down the country with my son for sport and only very rarely leave a review for anywhere I stay. We were staying for 2 nights over the weekend. After a near 450km 5hr drive, we arrived to a well stocked kitchen and all the facilities we needed. Have to say Tricia our host made us very welcome and helped with advice on the area. It's a very central and accessible location just off the M8. Now I know it's there l, I've no doubt we will be back in the future and will let others know.
