• Viwe (9/5): - Friendliness, safe place. And easy to find. I would be great if the lockers where you could lock stuff up when you are not around the room. People come and go anything can happen. That's the only thing I didn't like.
• Heberson (10/5): - A socialização é excelente, fica em uma rua tranquila durante o dia para caminhar, com cuidado claro, várias lojinhas de artesanato mas baratas que comprar as coisas nas bancas em feirinhas, restaurantes temáticos e fastfood clássico tudo perto, a noite a rua vira uma Augusta misturada com Lapa, muito agitada e várias baladas ao entorno!, há a cozinha é bem equipada e tem uma área imensa que dá pra fazer churrasco e se quiser nem precisa sair para baladinha a noite, a varanda já e muito legal!

• Carter Daniel (1/5): Overpriced and cramped. Unpleasant. - Uhm, the affordable drinks I guess? Everything was somewhat pleasant except for certain extremely rude staff members, especially the director. For someone who works with people, she is not a people's person. I stayed for a while, never missed a payment, yet was informed that I'm banned from the premises when I had returned. Cannot recommend. There are far better spots for the same price or even cheaper. Perhaps if the director gets her eyes set straight she won't be such a miserable human being. The beds are wildly uncomfortable, the showers are genuinely pathetic, and they couldn't be bothered to put a fan in a very hot small cramped room with six people. Obviously I won't be returning. 91 on Loop is fantastic though.

• Roussos (4/5): Pleasant...other backpackers change bedding and make up beds regularly...apart from that, pleasant s - No breakfast, communal kitchen, fair. Staff only clean room when guests check out and they only change bedding that checked out guests used. I stayed for almost 2 weeks and bed never made or bedding changed. Liked the Saturday braai...otherwise, a pleasant stay. Nice complimentary early morning coffee.. Didn't like that beds not made, bedding not changed more regularly.... Sorry late addition....insect repellent window netting will go a long way o make stay more memorable..I was attacked by mosquitoes every nite

• Tshepang (9/5): I can come back to the place. I also recommend for solo travelers. - Location was easier to get anywhere in the city. Someone stole my food but I had reported to the reception and they reimbursed the missing food.

• Rich (3/5): A backpacking hostel that is not for backpackers but long term residents. - Location and the wrap around balcony. This is not a backpackers hostel as only around 10-20 percent of people were backpackers when I stayed here. Mosquito invested, make sure you have repellent. The property is in need of an upgrade and most of the occupants are long term residents, not backpackers. Most people were friendly, and indeed i did make friends with some but if you're looking for a backpackers experience this isn't it. I repeat, this is not it! By the time I realized this wasn't really a backpackers hostel it was too late as they don't offer refunds. The hostel doesn't offer any backpackers activities (many in the area do) but they do have a BBQ once a week.
