- Jellona (8/5): Excellent choice if you prefer Scandic - The hotel is located just next to the terminal although the route is not completely rain proof. The family room was clean and very nice for two adults and two kids. You could almost (but just almost) see the runway from the window but I don't think there was any noise inside. The sliding door of the bathroom was a bit dangerous, though, as the handle went all the way to the opposing wall (beware of leaving your fingers between!). Breakfast was ok, pretty similar with other Scandics (not great, not bad) and it was served early enough starting 4am.

Property is modern and right next to airport terminal. Standard room tiny and bathroom also not roomy. OK for one night prior to flight. Sauna and gym very far away, several corridors walk.

There was no noise from the airport. The staff in the reception was very nice. Both the room and the bathroom were clean.

- Harri2025 (10/5): Great service in the heart of the airport - Great Hotel and service. Very nice rooms and enough space for four people family. The breakfast was very good and started already at four am so we could enjoy it before our early flight. It helps when you can park the car in the evening and then in the morning just walk to the terminal and start your trip.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Excellent place to stay for an early flight. We ended up staying the night before as well and went into Helsinki on the train on a day pass (only 12 Euros). It was steps from the hotel, and basically constant service. We never had to wait to get on one more than a minute or two. And we didn’t have to worry about transferring luggage from one hotel to another. Really a perfect experience. The only thing I missed there was salami type meat on the breakfast buffet, but the rest of the selection there more than made up for that! Will definitely stay again if I’m in Helsinki.
- Teeas_mt (10/5): Superclean, quiet and friendly staff - Our stay was a deligthful surprise, it's been a while since we have stayed in such a clean hotel room (and we travel a lot!). Also the friendly staff, especially at the breakfeast (they made saltess porridge for our baby with no extra charge and talked so nicely to our 4-year-old). Hotel was very quiet. Highly recommend this!
- Tarja (6/5): - Room and amneties were great. Staff slow and not friendly. Questions were mostly answered by oh you can look that up on our website. Asking where the sauna is, rather than giving an answer that just take the elevator downstairs etc… I am given a qr code where I can look up what is offered. And which did not show where the sauna was located. In restaurant I waited every single thing I ordered at least 15-30 min. I was escorted to table fairly fast, but if I didn’t order right there but said let me look at menu first, they did not come back until I hollered a couple of times. Waited 45 min for my 14.50€ half shrimp sandwich, which actually was a half of toasted bread piece with shrimp on it. When I asked 25 min in if the cook went to catch the shrimp, got an answer, it’s coming, don’t worry.

- TiinaG (10/5): Perfect location - I stayed here for two nights prior to my flight and had everything I need nearby. Jumbo was a short bus trip away and the bus stops outside the hotel. Hotel itself is spacious and clean. Had some small hiccups with safe that didn't work but I got a new room without a problem. Very good breakfast. Love the high ceilings at the restaurant and natural light.

Room was clean and fairly modern but my stay was let down by unfriendly bar staff and a slow check in. There was a long queue to check in which was a shame. The airport is a long way from town so bare that in mind.

Breakfast was fantastic and started very early - got up at 5-6 and had a great start to the day! Fast check in n check out, 5 minute walk to airport security.

Room was good, like always. BUT I always have had a late light dinner at hotel restaurant. Quite often I have chosen Caesar sald with shrimps, which has been very good. This time the portion was really tiny and according to staff, clients have complained that their portions are too big ones. This concerns salads and pasta dishes. Therefore they have reduced the portion sizes. Anyhow price is same as earlier.

- Sparkyfletch (10/5): A nice well run hotel, just a short hop over the road from the terminal. - We have stayed here before and all good hotels deserve a further review. I think this is our 4th stay and having joined their program we are 'Best Freinds' now according to their program status. It works - we had a nice corner room this time. Having arrived late at 23:30 and just wanting to get to bed, the no nonsense fast check in was perfect. Complimentry slippers would be a nice touch however. Breakfast is good, cappuccino is missing though. We had a later flight and were able to keep the room on. Even if the weather is bad you only have to cross the road! A good unpretentious efficient well run hotel. We will be back.
- 436rustyb (8/5): Mixed experience. - I recently stayed at your hotel for one night at 4th floor and I wanted to share some feedback about my experience. While I was very pleased with the friendly and welcoming service from your staff and the quality of the restaurant, I was disappointed by the lack of certain in-room amenities, such as slippers and toothpaste/toothbrush. Having stayed in various hotels, this is the first time I’ve encountered a situation where these essentials were missing and the cold floor made it uncomfortable, especially since I didn’t have slippers, and I was surprised these items weren’t provided.

Nice modern style and good breakfast which is available super early (we were there at 5am). The restaurant is beautifully decorated and super stylish!! This hotel has everything you need for a wuick airport stay.

- ReijoCZW (6/5): One night stay before morning flight - I have visited this hotel several times, because of good location and our company has agreement with Scandic. Rooms are very simple. It seems that room temperature is limited to under 20C. Autumn and winter times rooms are cold. This increases the risk to get sick before your business trip. I have couple bad experiences from this hotel. Hotel offers early breakfast which is good, but the quality of the breakfast is poor even when you go to breakfast during normal hours. When you compare these things to high room price I think I have seen enough.

A special mention to Miro and Rebekka in the restaurant and bar. They made it a pleasure to eat and drink there. I would highly recommend this hotel, very close proximity to the airport and handy for transport into the centre of Helsinki.

- maritaFinland (10/5): Customer service at its best and prime location next to airport - We stayed one night, after a late evening flight to Helsinki. We had during the day been in contact with the front desk by email and all the replies were really super friendly and ended with a welcome greeting. Finding some additional chocolates in our room, when arriving at 1 am at night, was a really lovely gesture from the staff, our sincere thank you! We had prior to our stay asked for a specific room and we were happy to see that our wish was noticed and fulfilled. At the check in and at the check out we were given super friendly customer service, and including a "welcome back next time" wish in addition to the wishing us a safe trip home. Might you even understand how much a customer appreciates it when the front desk clerk greets you with a lovely genuine smile :) The hotel should be very proud of it's front desk staff, and do everything they can to keep these true gems of customer service on their payroll as long as possible. From the bottom of our hearts we like to thank you, once again, for a lovely stay at your hotel. We'll continue to stay at your hotel whenever we fly to/from Helsinki. Oh, and the most important. The room and the bathroom are really clean. The beds are comfortable and there is a minibar that is properly cold. The breakfast is good and it's hours 4.00-9.30 is really good considering early flights. Highly recommend your hotel!

- jonnah77 (4/5): Too expensive for what you get - Saddly there is a reason why I don’t want to spend my money Finnish hotels. Quality and price will never meet. You spend over 200 €/night and what you get? I always feel robbed. First you have to use two lifts get your room, because hotel is other floor. When you enter the lobby you are greeted by dirty, lumpy and depressing looking carpet. Not the welcome what you expect. Room was small and dark as a depressing as the carpet in the lobby. Even in sunny day in July. There was a lot of dust under the bed. There was also one side of bed round dirty little carpet. There was no point for that. I give 2/5 because service and early breakfast was good. Sadly coffee was very bad and bitter that I couldn’t drink it.
- 727teemuh (6/5): Disapointment - Paid 232 euros for one night. Got a tiny room, and a hotel that looked anything but hotel. Had to use twi escalators to get in the room. The front door looked like some restaurant’s back door. The breakfast and the service were great (the coffee was so bad though), so is the location if you’re flying early in the morning. The price doesn’t match with the quality.

Most amazing breakfast buffet ever including fruit smoothies. Hard to discover signage for friends trying to meet us at the hotel. We loved the room decor finding it very quiet for an airport and wished we could air it out easier when we took off our shoes (the windows could not be opened.) We found plastic bags in which to place our shoes. Best of all it was a short walk across a parking lot from the airport arrivals hall when we arrived on an international flight at 02:00h.
- Eileen (10/5): - Walking to it from our terminal…having the best escargot I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot! Beautiful room and roomy. Only negative was they only had coffee in the room and not an espresso pod machine… I had to wait two minutes and walk back into the terminal for an espresso.

- Joseph (10/5): Perfect Helsinki Airport hotel - Perfect hotel for one day in Helsinki on the way home from a science experiment in Lapland. Simple to find and super easy to get to and from the airport. Breakfast buffet was awesome.

- Joel (4/5): - Do NOT book a family room if you are expecting, as the description states, a double bed and 2 single beds. What you actually get is a very unsafe and dangerous folding bunk bed that is absolutely not appropriate for children to sleep in. Hotel wasn't accommodating in finding alternative sleeping arrangements. Disingenuous advertising of the room at best. Will definitely not be staying here again. On the plus side it's 5 mins walk from the airport terminal so we were able to get out (with no sleep) quickly...
- Maciej (10/5): Great one night stay Scandic Helsinki Airport - Great one night stay. Short walk distance from terminal. Comfortable clean hotel and good breakfast. Only one complaint... next time please provide a bottle of water in a room. We arrived late and sadly there was none!

Our tub leaked water everywhere - not an overflow but looked to be a burst drain pipe. Discovered the air con controls in the morning were in the bathroom! Good though for an overnight stay
