Fomos muito bem recebidos pela Sofia, que foi atenciosa e deu excelentes dicas para nosso roteiro. O hotel fica próximo a restaurantes, cafés, sorveterias e mercado, e muito fácil de chegar ao centro. Além disso, o quarto é muito bonito e confortável.

• Christina (10/5): Liebevoll gepflegtes Gästehaus mit sehr freundlichem Personal und in bester Lage - Wir hatten das Glück im ganz besonderen Zimmer unter dem Dach zu übernachten und hatten dadurch eine einmalige Aussicht auf die Altstadt von Coimbra. Das Zimmer war geräumig, sauber, modern und gemütlich eingerichtet und wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und haben super Tipps bekommen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!
• Karen (10/5): Loved this gem of a hotel - An absolute gem in an area called Santa Clara just over the bridge from Coimbra. Such lovely staff (thank you Sofia for your help) run this charming Guest house with great beds, lots of hot water and a small kitchen where you can make a cup of tea or use the microwave. There are also fridges in each bedroom. Great cafes and restaurants close by and so much to explore in Coimbra Nothing!

Location was central to cafes/restaurants. Can walk over bridge (or catch bus) to Old Town. My room was on level 1 at end of corridor - it was lovely and large, bed was comfortable and bathroom was good size. All was clean. Bonus - discount if you dine at restaurant in same building Noisy cars kept me awake at times during the two nights I was there.

Fiquei no quarto do último andar e reconheço que foi-me avisado com antecedência que esta habitação tinha tetos baixos. No entanto, minha avaliação de quão baixo era o teto foi errada. E não era só na região das camas, o quarto inteiro e a casa de banho obrigaram-me a andar curvado por todo o tempo que lá estive. Na casa de banho, para pentear o cabelo ou fazer a barba, tive de ficar de joelhos. Nada confortável essa situação. Não recomendo esse quarto para pessoas com altura acima de 1,70 m. Importante frisar que essa meu comentário é apenas válido para o quarto do 4º piso.

Non è nel centro storico e quindi è più accessibile grazie anche all'ampio parcheggio gratuito a 2 minuti a piedi dalla struttura. Si trova comunque a due passi dal lungo fiume e dalla risalita per il centro storico di Coimbra. Sofia, inoltre, è molto disponibile e consente di arrivare oltre l'orario del check in grazie al self check in. Nel caso soggiornaste qui consiglio di cenare alla Taberna de Portogallo immediatamente sotto, posto consigliato da Sofia stessa e ottimo!

The free covered, secure parking nearby (3 minute walk) is a big advantage. The shower in our room was a bit small considering the ample space available in the bathroom. Shower water pressure is also a bit weak. The lack of elevator could be a problem for some but luckily the place only has three floors and ample stairs.

Even though it’s on a busier street, nights were quiet and we opened the windows to see the gorgeous view of Coimbra across the river. Many sweet details throughout the property to make it feel homey. Sofia is a gem! She is so welcoming and helpful!! The bathroom door was rubbing on the tile floor. I’m sure the property will take care of this minor issue!!

Mesmo tendo vidro duplo e uma boa insonorização, pode ser ligeiramente melhorada. Consegues se ouvir o trânsito logo de manhã. De dia, com as janelas abertas acaba por não haver forma de criar privacidade sem usar os postigos. Colocar película de privacidade. São criticas construtivas.
• Krause (8/5): Ein anderes Apartment in diesem schönen Haus, am besten nach hinten raus, würden wir sofort empfehlen! - Das Apartment hat eine gute, zentrale Lage und es ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen Das Apartment ist ein ehemaliger Dachboden, wirklich geschmackvoll ausgebaut aber leider hat es 2 tragende Dachbalken quer im Raum die auf Augenhöhe sind und man muss wirklich aufpassen dass man sich nicht den Kopf stößt. Man läuft immer ein bisschen gebückt durch das Zimmer. Auch um sich im Badezimmerspiegel sehen zu können muss man in die Knie gehen. Die Lage ist super zentral nur kann man Nachts kaum bei offenem Fenster schlafen, da der Verkehr extrem laut war. Für Menschen über 1,80m nicht zu empfehlen. Den 3. Stock ohne Fahrstuhl haben wir sportlich gesehen…..

• Cristina (9/5): Estupendas vistas y tranquilidad - Las vistas desde el cuarto eran estupendas, directas a Coimbra. Las camas eran muy cómodas, muy suaves las sábanas y las almohadas estaban bastante bien también. La temperatura de la habitación era perfecta. Las toallas bien de tamaño y los jabones de cortesía muy agradables. Estaba todo muy limpio y la atención por parte de Sofía fue siempre de 10, atenta al mail. Aparcamiento genial, dejas el coche al llegar al lado de la puerta para dejar las maletas y luego lo mueves a un aparcamiento subterráneo GRATUITO que esta literalmente al lado. Muy cómodo para visitar la ciudad, es sólo cruzar el Mondego. El frigo metido en el armario no llegó a enfriar del todo y hacía bastante ruido, así que lo apagamos. Así mismo hacía mucho ruido el shunt de extracción del baño, y el baño en sí tenía poca iluminación. La ausencia de ascensor para subir hasta 3 plantas que llega a tener al edificio puede ser un handicap importante para algunas personas.

Puedes dejar el coche en frente un momento mientras descargas las maletas y después tienes un parking cubierto y gratis para dejar el coche literalmente al lado. La ubicación también es buena, aunque como Coímbra es todo cuesta se tarda un poquito en llegar a los sitios. La anfitriona es un cielo y las habitaciones y el baño están genial. También tienes cocina y comedor. Todo perfecto.

• Sanchez (10/5): - Nos recibió Sofía, una chica súper encantadora que nos informó de la ubicación de la habitación, de todos los servicios de los que disponíamos así como de recomendaciones de lugares que visitar y de restaurantes y cafeterías a las que ir. Mostró su disponibilidad a tiempo completo para lo que necesitáramos. La ubicación de la hospedería perfecta. Está a la entrada del pueblo y muy cerca de un parking gratuito para poder dejar el coche. Está al lado del centro. La habitación muy limpia y cama y almohada cómoda. Si vuelvo a Coimbra no dudaría en alojarme de nuevo aquí.

Recomendaron para desayunar las palmeras (NO VAYAS), 2 cafés dobles con pan de Deu a la plancha con jamón y queso y tostada con mantequilla y mermelada, 13 €.

• Marco (9/5): Bello ma si può far meglio - Stanze accoglienti e silenziose. Buona la posizione L’accoglienza è stata un po’ caotica. I consigli per i ristoranti della zona non erano precisi in quanto la domenica erano quasi tutti chiusi.
• Helena (1/5): Péssima - Da localização central Quando cheguei ao quarto, localizado no sótão, deparei me com a porta que dá acesso direto ao telhado aberta. Para além da insegurança que me transmitiu toda a noite, ao ponto de colocar uma cadeira para servir como “alarme”, a falta de isolamento dessa área tornou-se também ela insuportável para descansar. É notório que todo o barulho da rua, ecoa no telhado e consequentemente no quarto, por falta de isolamento. O que separa o quarto das telhas é uma porta de chapa. Em suma, paguei para ter uma noite em claro. Ontem enviei e-mail a reportar a situação, mas à data, não obtive qualquer resposta.

Die Lage ist perfekt, sehr zentral und wir konnten unseren Mietwagen direkt vor dem Hotel parken. Die Gastgeber Sofia (1) and Sofia (2) waren beide sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und herzlich. Sie haben uns gute Tipps gegeben und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt im Guest House Santa Clara. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen 😊
