Cheguei no hotel ás 21:30, cansada de uma longa viagem e com fome. O restaurante e o bar já fechando, não foi possível entrar. Então pedi serviço de quarto que também só funcionava até as 21 horas. Tive que sair para procurar um canto para jantar. Como é que um hotel de 5 estrelas, com uma tarifa cara, de uma cadeia de hotéis famosa, não oferece serviço de quarto após 9 da noite? Por um lapso meu, minha reserva não incluía café da manhã, então tive que pagar na hora. Fiquei espantada pelo alto preço!

The night staff when asked to give me access to the lift as my wife went up before me they don’t even look at me just pressed the button and got back chatting with other staff . And it is very expensive for the service and interiors .

Rooms were relatively spacious and beds were comfortable. Location is great with many restaurants and shopping nearby. Most importantly Ginza Station was about 2 blocks away which is especially important after walking all day. Can't go wrong staying here

All the shops were near by and that made shopping a breeze. We would definitely be back during future visits to Tokyo.
- Jbirdy68 (8/5): Luxury hotel or kids camp? - We had an overall excellent stay at this hotel. The rooms are state of the art, comfortable, and we'll maintained. Checkin was great and the staff is great. My only complaint is that the lobby feels like a kids camp. For some reason there are loud video games, play/craft areas, and a piano setup to encourage kids to play in the main lobby area. Needless to say, there are many young kids running around and the noise from the games and piano area are not what I expect from a hotel this caliber. The hotel needs to find an out of the way location for these kids amenities so that all the other guests are not impacted.

- 979nicr (10/5): Worth the money - Location was great, atmosphere/decor were inline with a luxury hotel. Rooms were very spacious, especially for Tokyo standard. Cost was a bit steep, but the service and hard products were very much worth it. During our stay, there was a minor plumbing/HVAC issues on our floor, and the agents were extremely responsive and accommodating on helping us change rooms to a different floor late night. Definitely takes accountability, and that little hiccup didn't affect us at all with our stay as they more than made up for it. I'm surprised it's only rated a 4-star hotel -- it definitely costs and feels like a 5-star one.

The room was spacious, clean and modern. Complimentary snacks a drinks available 24/7 in the hotel lobby. This was my second stay at this hotel and planning to return later this year.

All hotel staff that we encountered were very friendly, welcoming, and proficient in English. There were less amenities readily provided when compared to other Japanese hotels (e.g. no toothbrush + toothpaste set, cotton pads, etc.) but we were prepared anyway. The filtered water cooler available on each floor + 2 reusable water bottles were nifty.

The breakfast was ok, fortunately we only had breakfast there for one day. The lobby was really nice and there are complimentary refreshments and snacks. There is a water station on each floor so no need to buy extra water. There was some construction noise during the day but we were located in a higher floor so it wasn't too bad. The shower room itself felt like a little onsen which was nice. Water bottles with water dispensers on each floor was handy and the breakfast was delicious! Our room was facing another building so we didn't have much of a view to look at.

- lifeslittleluxuries (10/5): Amazing location and fun hotel - This hotel is in a promenade location in the heart of Ginza nestled among luxury stores. The hotel itself has a beautiful bar and breakfast area and otherwise funky/cool vibe. This was also reflected in the staff as well which was younger, friendly and helpful. Kids can feel free to take the Japanese treats as well during their stay. The room itself is a good size, especially for Tokyo and nicely laid out. Breakfast was a great variety of Japanese and Western favorites with interesting options like a DIY croffle station. I liked the small touches like the Japanese seasonings for rice and varieties of dairy products. Unfortunately the coffee and tea tasted very much like they came from a cheap machine mixture. Otherwise I'd stay again for the location and staff.

At check-in on Day 1, I was informed that guests could borrow bicycles free of charge. However, when I tried to borrow a bicycle on Day 2, I was told that it was not available, even though the bicycles appeared to be unused and no reason was given. This inconsistency was confusing and a bit disappointing. Clear and consistent communication about available services would greatly improve the guest experience.

- Z2500RYmichaeln (8/5): Amazing Stay BUT Consider the Cost - My wife and I stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon in Tokyo. This hotel provided amazing value in term of services, amenities, and location. Keep in mind, it was a special occasion, and we certain went above our typical spending for a hotel. So consider this place with cost in mind since there would definitely be more affordable choices in the area or nearby. Otherwise, the staff were welcoming and helpful as expected from one of the higher end of Hyatt.
- Kamitravel (10/5): Great stay - We stayed here for 5 nights and we really liked it. It’s conveniently located to Ginza station, only 5 minutes walking away. Check in was fast and staff were very kind and professional. The room size was fine and didn’t feel cramped. The mattress was a bit hard though. Snacks and drinks in the afternoon were a nice compliment. The breakfast was great. I should say it could’ve included more cheese varieties but dairy is not a common item in Japanese cuisine. We would definitely return to this hotel if we go back to Tokyo.

- boosooo (10/5): Fun casual hotel, great location - We had a fun time staying at this hotel. The location was perfect, in the middle of luxury shopping in the middle Ginza. It was very close to the train stations and lots of delicious restaurants. The hotel is modern and the check-in area is very casual with staff members standing around a couple of large square tables. It was not very obvious who worked there and who were guests. But there were a ton of free snacks and drinks everyday. And fun old school video games to play. There was also a robot dog that my toddler enjoyed visiting. Our room was stylish and bigger than it looked in photos online. It was certainly large by Tokyo standards. They also make use of limited storage space with high shelving. The shower/tub area was huge but the toiletries were just meh. The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious. It was pricey but worth it. We ate there twice. The second time we got there late about 30 minutes before they closed. Unfortunately, they started clearing the food 10 minutes before they closed. Because of that, I didn’t get a chance to eat much since I had spent most of my time feeding my son first. I would have gotten my own food before feeding my son if I had known that they cleared it that early. Service was also limited. They did not refill our coffees or water either time we ate there. This hotel came highly recommended. The location was excellent, but I may consider staying somewhere a little more luxurious next time.

- sohilj2019 (8/5): Honeymoon Trip Late Oct 2025 - During my honeymoon trip, I travelled to Tokyo from Toronto and spent four days at the Hyatt Ginza. The staff was exceptionally helpful, as there was a language barrier since we do not speak Japanese. The hotel is centrally located and easily walkable to numerous shops, restaurants and the train station. The room was clean and provided daily water bottles as per my Hyatt Status. My only real complaint was that the hotel was aware of our honeymoon and did not make any special arrangements. An email had been sent in advance indicating a special arrangement upon arrival, but all that was left was a card. While I did not expect much, I found it odd that the hotel had mentioned a special arrangement and only left a card. Aside from this, I would highly recommend this hotel.

- Trail62915750884 (8/5): Nice place to stay in the high end shopping area - Hyatt Centric Ginza Tokyo was a nice place to stay for our fist time to Tokyo and Japan. We stayed 4 nights here after staying at Hyatt Place in Kyoto for 5 nights. We mainly chose Centric because we wanted to use Hyatt points and this location had availability for the dates we wanted (same for Hyatt Place Kyoto). Room was quiet. The location was nice and easy to get to transportation to other places. It is in the high end shopping area, (Rolex next door, Louis Vuitton across the street, etc) so if you like fancy, expensive shopping or just looking in the windows, it's a great area to stay in. We do not like shopping, nor do we care much about brand names, so we would probably stay in a different area if/when we go back to Tokyo. When we arrived to our room, there was a box of delicious treats and a card wishing me a happy birthday. Being from the USA, we were impressed and amused by the Japanese toilets. Comfy PJs, slippers, yukatas, and shower robes were provided (not sure if that's for all rooms or just the room type we had), however, they were just right size wise for us but anyone who's body is bigger than a US size M may not be able to wear them, although one pair was slightly bigger than the other so might be able to ask for larger sizes. The skin care products were amazing even for my sensitive skin (I didn't even use the face wash and moisturizer I brought from home). If you have hard water at home, you will like and notice a difference in the softness of the water here; it's safe and even tastes good to drink out of the tap! My hair and skin felt great! For clothes storage, we could have used more drawers as only 3 small ones were available in addition to hangers. We pack light (carryon only) though so it wasn't that big of a deal for us. We had breakfast at the hotel once and it had nice offerings. The other days we either went somewhere else or just picked up something on our way to the early morning meeting spot for our tour.
- James215021 (10/5): Five Star Hotel and Location - Hyatt Centric Ginza is an amazing hotel. The location is stellar with world class shopping and dining. Check in was amazing as a globalist they offered an upgrade that would not be available until later in the day so I opted for the room that was available at early check in. Upon checking in there was some construction noise. I went to the front desk and was pleasantly surprised to meet Yuumi and the entire front desk team. They immediately rectified the situation and moved me to a very quiet location without me even requesting a new room. Amazing way to remedy the situation. Thanks! The restaurant is amazing, very high quality breakfast lunch and dinner. The bartenders are mixologists that make creative quality cocktails. Rooms are well designed with chargers (USB’s) everywhere you could possibly need one. Gym has decent equipment with a water station and a cooler that has protein milk. (A first for me) Next visit to Ginza I will definitely stay here again.
- Wander18000363064 (2/5): Dissapointing services and uncomfortable bed - Disappointing services and really uncomfortable bed despite extremely high price. The bed is hard and stiff. Pillows are not feathed pillows and felt cheap. We were really dissappointed by the service we received. Japanese staffs were not welcoming abd showed mild neglect to us as foreigner. This is not international standard for 5stars hotel. However, the hotel is really beautiful and the food was really good. But in the end we left the hotel with big disappointments and would not come back again. Sorry

- lml05051207 (2/5): Worst Hyatt property in Tokyo, never recommend - I think this is the only one Hyatt property I will rate 1 out of 10 in Japan. This property has spacious room size and locate in Ginza. This is the only good things here. As a Cat7 property the service is very low standard. Compares to local Japanese Hotel as Imperial Hotel Tokyo, even cheaper than this property, but they definitely shows how Japanese service guest well. Compares to same Cat 7 property in Hyatt As the Unbound collection Hotel Toranomon Hills, the Hyatt centric is like a Cat2 property just because they locate in Ginza so rate as Cat7 is definitely over rated! As Cat7 property service should be standard as Cat 7 . But they running like Hyatt place. The service is inconsistent! The turndown service only auto for suite, other room type only upon request. But they will never inform you that. After u feedback such to them they never treats it seriously. Even send to the general manager. Is totally no response from Manager. They will even say is Japanese PH so no senior manager here expected delay. As a Cat7 property PH no senior manager on duty which is ridiculous. PH is hotel peak season, should always have senior manager standby. This is definitely shows the manager is not work as seriously at all. Other Cat7 property the hotel manager no matter what time they will response guest personal issue within 30 mins even. That’s suppose to be the Hyatt standard in Japan.

- Maria (9/5): Ideal for shopping: steps from Ginza's luxury brands - The hotel boasts an exceptional location in the heart of Ginza, placing all the renowned boutiques right at your doorstep. We were delighted to find the rooms spotlessly clean and well-appointed. My friends were staying at the hotel with their 11-year-old child. Initially, the hotel did not provide a third bed. When we asked for an extra bed at the reception, the staff said it was impossible to add one, which was very strange. Only after a lengthy discussion did they agree to bring another bed. The situation was particularly odd given that my friends had mentioned during the reservation that there would be three people. In the restaurant at breakfast, the chef struggled to prepare the eggs correctly on three occasions. First, for my friend, they fried the eggs on both sides three times, even though he had asked for sunny-side up. Then, I was offered scrambled eggs instead of an omelet. The next day, I received an omelet with ham instead of a plain one. My impression is that the staff have difficulty understanding English.
- nongwongweint (10/5): Luxury location Ginza toyko - I stayed at the Hyatt Centric Ginza, and this location offers a very luxurious experience. The area is surrounded by high-end brand stores, and it’s super convenient to get around by train or even on foot. I was really happy with my stay! I also mentioned that it was my anniversary with my boyfriend, and the hotel thoughtfully placed a little card and some snacks in our room such a nice touch!

- advocate_ashishgupta (10/5): The best place to stay in Ginza - We (a family of three) stayed in this hotel on the first day of our arrival in Tokyo and we just loved it. On our arrival at Narita airport, we took limousine bus service that dropped us outside Marriott hotel, and from there this hotel is five minutes on foot. In our opinion this is the best way and fastest way to reach hotel without making any changes if someone is taking a train. The staff is amazing, helpful, and always smiling. The rooms are clean, modern, spacious, and has everything one could ask for. The check-in and check out was very smooth. Tokyo station is at a distance of hardly one kilometre. The hotel is literally in the heart of Ginza surrounded with unlimited shops and restaurants for all kind of budgets. The hotel is so well located that if you staying here, then you can explore Ginza area on foot. There are all high end brands (including a famous Ginza six mall) so also budget stores like Uniqlo and others. Unlimited choices and variety of food options are also there. Over all, we had a great time staying there and next time when we are in Japan, needless to say, this would be our only choice.

The hotel’s location is wonderful, right opposite Ginza six and is there in the middle of the bustling shopping area. Ginza station is close by and lots of places to eat around. The hotel in particular, I could not find a fault with. The room is spacious for Japan standard, immaculately clean. The staff in particular is very friendly and welcoming. Leo in particular was marvellous. In short, it was the perfect place to stay in Tokyo

Ginza is a great area to base your stay in Tokyo. Extremely high end fashion district and food scene was good to for all levels of spend. Rooms were large and very well appointed. Would highly recommend!
- row363 (6/5): First time in Japan - Was not a fan of this hotel. For the cost some of the bare minimum essential were missing. I checked out as I booked 5 days at the hotel and knew I would be miserable staying the full week. Maybe an ideal situation for someone else, but I didn't enjoy it.
