- Sandra (5/5): Bed was hard, and very run down. Not worth the rate charged for room, and is unsafe in the rooms. - Was handy to the intended location. Was very run down, some plugs and power points did not work, the main plug for using the kettle etc did not even stay in the socket, this Motel needs a lot of work and maintenance to upgrade to be a safe property. Staff were very nice but owners needs a kick in the butt.

- Johns (5/5): Don’t be deceived by property photos-they’re are better properties in Muswellbrook for the same money to stay in. - The pool looked nice. Clean linen and towels. Dated and desolate. Only a few vehicles in the car park for our stay. In a motel with over 60 rooms it was unfortunate that we were right next to another guest that we could hear snoring and showering throughout the night. Restaurant is not operating

Would not recommend. - Management were very nice and accommodating given I was checking in on New Year’s Day which was a public holiday. They arranged for a contactless key pick up. Smooth check in and check out. Mould in the bathroom grout in the shower. Pubic hair in the shower. Shower was old and very crusty. The room smelt of old urine and smoke. Pictures advertised did not match the room. The walls were dirty with black marks.

Has not been updated for probably 20 years. now is basically a dormitory for miners. Carpet threadbare, Bathrooms a disgrace. Bed and pillows must be 10-20 years old !! yuk ! Will not be staying there again !!

Very shabby, particularly the bathroom. The location doesn't allow for walking to any food venues. Would we stay there again ??????
- Linda (8/5): Nice and quiet but in need of some repairs. - I stayed in a room at the rear of the property, which was beautifully quiet. The room was very dated and tired, needing some repairs/refreshment. I had to fix the screw onto the cold water tap over the hand basin in the bathroom and the hot water tap in the shower. The room had a microwave, a toaster and an electric jug but no cutlery or crockery.

- Tracy (7/5): Quite comfortable with a nice restaurant - The staff were fantastic & very helpful. The bed was very comfortable. Water pressure & heat in the shower was wonderful. Easy to find, on the main road going into town, next to Maccas. The motel is a bit aged, however they are slowly updating. No lift to the top floor, there is rooms on the ground floor.
