• Dirk (8/5): - A brilliant place to stay for a few days and enjoy the lovely surroundings along the River Venta. Unfortunately, we were only there for one night whilst passing through, so it’s hard to give a detailed review. The room was certainly clean and comfortably furnished. The reception staff were on hand despite our unusual arrival and departure times. So everything was just as you’d expect. Stay was too short to notice anything negative. Judging by first impression, it would be difficult to form a negative opinion even if at longer stay.

• Dainis (10/5): - Very nice boutique hotel in historical manor. Very spacious room (we booked a family room, which consists of two rooms and bathroom with bathtub), quiet area, hassle free parking, very tasty food in the restaurant. In-house playroom for children. Our third time here.

It's not often that I'm THAT impressed with a venue but honestly, having just held my mother in laws 80th birthday celebrations there I couldn't help but write a positively glowing recommendation! The staff were incredibly helpful in every aspect from the initial online planning to phone conversations helping to coordinate the food, drink and entertainment as well as providing spectacular rooms for ourselves and other members of the party that stayed over. The food was a really high quality and immaculately presented and oh so plentiful. All the guests commented on how exceptional it was! I cannot recommend this venue highly enough! • John (10/5): It’s a OK - Overall this is a OK hotel. The area we think could be really beautiful during summertime. Room: We choose the suite this time and room was good. Dark and quiet when u want to sleep. They water in the room should not be in glass caraf. Should be glass bottles. Dinner: The menu could be divided into Starters, Main, Dessert. But the taste of the food was really good. We took Pasta Chicken and Duck. Thank you for the nice food. Breakfast: 15€ for this kind of breakfast, no thank you. For this kind of luxury hotel as it posted as the breakfast could be so much better. The choices are very few.

• Kaia (10/5): A place to see and appreciate beauty - Everything is exceptionally tastefully modern, but designed keeping the atmosphere of the manor. The road is close, but the windows are soundproof. Staff so friendly and professional (extra point for the receptionist!). Exhibition-museum about the history of the manor and its surroundings. The bed is very wide and comfortable, high-quality bedding. Restaurant - just a sigh of the bliss of the flavors while watching the river Venta flow... Community arranged walking path across the road to the river,. On the other side of the river directly across from the restaurant is a swimming spot.

W - Very beautiful and thought out interiors, super comfortable bed, stunning views all around, a lot of space for walking and enjoying the nature. Delicious food in the restaurant, the breakfast was served just for us and it had a variety of fruit and vegetables, plus eggs, cheeses and self-made delicious bread, as well as croissants. Dogs are welcomed warmly by the staff. Everything was just perfect.
