• Krystle (4/5): - Main lobby Terrible beds very old, bouncy and squeaky. Poor pillows. No neck support. Only 2 towels in a room for 4 when asked at front desk they didn't have any available until house keeping came in which was 1 h after we needed them. Hotel needs to be updated. Very old motel feel. Shower was not hot. Continental breakfast was lacking.

• Eve-Lyne (3/5): - The fitness room was fine. We advised the front desk when checking out of the issues we had with the plumbing. Shortly after we checked in we advised the staff of issues we noticed and they didn't change us to another room. We were told that the owner would get in contact with us but never received any phone call or email. Very disappointed by their management.
• Sonya (7/5): It was good but cost a lot more than we had expected. - Location, liked our room was facing the peaceful back and on first floor so handy to take our small dogs outside, clean and neat, loved the deep bathtub. We didn’t like the $30 plus tax per night per dog not mentioned when booking for our yorkie and chihuahua but had no problem with the $100 hold in case of damages.

• SteveC261 (10/5): Great value for money. - We were very impressed with the quality of the hotel given the price. It was excellent value for money. The room was spacious with a separate sitting area, I’m not sure if that was an upgrade or all rooms like that. Check in was super easy, staff were friendly, It had been snowing but we were able to unload our luggage at the main door, under cover. The breakfast was great, good quality and variety.

• Mitchell (6/5): Stay at Lakeview - Check in was easy, accommodated an early arrival. Gentlemen was very helpful when we needed to extend our stay. Breakfast was pretty good. I was sleeping and woke up to my towels having been replaced. Even with the door hanger, someone came in my room while I was sleeping. Very uncomfortable knowing staff don't respect the door hanger for privacy.

• Lea (5/5): - Clean & quiet The phone in my room didn't work, so I couldn't call to the desk for a slight delay in my checkout the morning of my departure. I went to the desk at 11 am to let the attendant know that my phone wasn't working and I politely requested another 20 minutes to finish up, she was weirdly grim about it. When I took the first of two trips with my luggage etc. to my vehicle 20 minutes later as discussed (letting the attendant know I'd be back for a couple more things), I came back to my room a minute later and my card wouldn't work to open my door. I was then treated with visible disdain and annoyance when I asked (again, politely) for re-access to get my last two bags. Very unacceptable and petty behaviour for a hospitality service. You can do better!

Stayed on the main floor, the curtains in the room don’t completely black out, and there was a light directly outside the window to the room that illuminated half the room and made it look like daylight outside. Very old air con unit that was extremely loud - had to choose between noise control or temperature control. Overall a clean hotel, but pretty sleepless nights.

• 585dallasj (2/5): Lack of compassion - My friend and I booked through Expedia and received my receipt, credit card charged immediately. My friend has cancer and very, very ill from the treatment and the oncologist advised to cancel participation in CIBC Run for a Cure. I tried to cancel through Expedia and they could not find my booking. Imagine, they can't find me but they have my money!! I called the hotel and they said the refund would have to come from Expedia. Expedia told me it was non-refundable. My friend is so ill and devastated she can't participate and now this no refund. Expedia is a scam, do not book anything through them. Do not book with this hotel as they have no compassion or common sense. The hotel will get paid twice for one room this weekend. Great way to make a profit off the backs of potential customers!!
