- Simone (10/5): Fantastische luxe oase - Eigenlijk alles, het was echt op en top genieten in luxe. Het eten chef Ricardo, de bediening door onder andere Heydie en haar collega's was fenomenaal. Dag en nacht security. Auto bewaakt bij de locatie parkeren. Aan het strand. Heerlijk zwembad waar je fantastische cocktails kan drinken. Echt een luxe oase, geld meer dan waard! Echt niets eigenlijk.

Great restaurant attached for lunch and dinner (wouldn't recommend breakfast). nice pool, welcome drink, and so much more. just wonderful. the restaurant is in the middle of the hotel and is open to public and open til 9:30 PM. If you want to go to bed early, you will not be able to fall asleep quietly, since you'll hear the music, the people and everything.

Moltissimo servizi extra che propone la struttura proprio da farti stare facile 1 settimana solo lì Isolamento è davvero basso avendo oceano di fronte con alta marea (ho dormito con tappi però le onde forti ogni tanto si sentivano)

El lugar en si es difícil de llegar y si estás usando Waze y sigues la ruta, te lleva a un paso arenoso donde si vas en un vehículo pequeño como un carro sedan o compacto, es muy probable que se quede pegado, el lugar también los precios son bastantes más caros que los precios regulares del país.

Surprisingly, when we come back they turn off the kitchen without saying a thing. We went to ask and the answer was that using the kitchen was not aloud because there was the restaurant. How you put on rent and apartment with kitchen if is not allow to use it? It is an expensive hotel and is all wood structure

Given it's a restaurant as well we were worried about noise in the rooms but music always played to a low volume that you couldn't really hear it in the rooms. We only stayed one night as a piece of luxury on our trip and it was perfect for unwinding and relaxing. Restaurant does get busy at night so at first we were told there was no space then a table became available so would have been great if staff could let us know when we checked in if we needed to make a reservation or not to guarantee a table

- Kiki (10/5): - 99 is a favourite of mine. I love the vibe, the staff are incredible and the fact that it's right on the ocean makes it a no brainer. We had an issue with our room and the staff were quick to help make it right and we had an amazing stay as a result
- Gaston (8/5): - Location is pretty good if you're surfing. Between Popoyo main break and Santanas. The food is top notch, probably the best in the area, and the staff are all friendly. The rooms are decent but definitely leave something to be desired for the price. In general, I think the price is a little high for the area and level of accomodation but it's not a bad spot to spend a few days. The only other negative thing I would say is that we tried to book a surf trip via boat 2 days prior to arrival and nobody got back to us. Unfortunately the swell was really good the day of our arrival so we were left having to figure it out as soon as we woke up.

- Ricardo (8/5): - The property itself is really beautiful, Taberna 99 offers variaty of drinks and food, it's pricy. Rooms are really good, although you will be hearing the people in the restaurant if you are in a close by room. The pool is beautiful, you get a sense of peace and is right next to all the rooms. Getting there is easy enough, although far from the main road, close to the coastanera highway (was underconstruction during my stay). If you want a getaway night, or you're into surfing, I do recommended it.

If you're into surfing, it’s definitely a top spot in the Popoyo area. A couple of suggestions that could enhance the experience: the bedding could be a bit cozier—we had a thin sheet and didn’t think to ask for extra blankets, so it might be helpful to offer those upfront. Also, the background music didn’t quite match the otherwise zen, yoga-surf ambiance. Something a bit more aligned with the peaceful setting, especially during breakfast or after a yoga session, could elevate the atmosphere.

It feels more like a restaurant with a few rooms rather than a proper hotel, so the atmosphere isn’t the best. I stayed over the weekend, and there were lots of people who weren’t hotel guests. It was very busy and noisy. The rooms were okay, but the mattress was worn out. Overall, poor value for money.

The staff go above beyond to help, are incredibly friendly and seem to genuinely love their work. The property is located in a great area that is easily walkable to other great spots a popular surf break. But the food at 99 is probably my favourite. It's reasonably priced the quality of is immaculate! Make sure to try the Rosti for breakfast or the short ribs for dinner.

About the property: the place is apiece of heaven in earth, the pictures in the website are great but seeing it in person looks even better. The staff are the best and food (omg) that’s the cherry on top of the cake, every plate is delicious…. While we stayed there we met several other customers and all of them had the same opinion, this place is just fantastic! Big shout out to the stall Kaylee, Henry, Sharon and many others than I can’t remember their names

Rooms are a little small, but cozy.

- Estefania (9/5): Totally worthy! - The service, food and viewing was incredibly. The road to get there is 85% good and 15% full of sand and rocks, so it is better to take a 4x4, of course you can take a smaller car but take into account that it will take you 30-40 minutes longer to get there.

Looks exactly like the pictures and the communication with the resort before arriving was excellent. Me and my Dad had a great time doing yoga, massages, surfing and the food was so good! All the women that work there have great customer services and work so hard! Thank you for great memories! There’s nothing to not like.
