Easy to walk to Newbury St (Fabulous shops and Eateries) Easy to walk to Public Gardens and the Waterfront and great access to the T and bus stops to go further afield to Harvard etc. Access code for door entry is a great idea - no keys to lose! It would have been useful to have some washing up liquid and a tea towel in the kitchenette area. Carpet very worn in the hallway / stair area.

And provision of non-throw - Fantastic locatioon and the balcony/views were a fabulous place to relax with a morning coffee or sundowner... I'm always a little disappointed when higher end properties resort to paper plates, plastic cutlery and paper cups. Wifi was also extremely temperamental, dropping out or not appearing at all on a regular basis....

Not to happy when I like to sleep in when I am on vacation.

Rooms were nice and hotel was clean but shower in bathroom did not work properly. Shower head shot water in a stream towards the curtain and could not be adjusted. The hand held shower would not turn on - bad since this was a handicap accessible room with seat in shower.

- Henry (8/5): - First time in a Sonder. Takes a little to get used to the do it yourself concept. Nice place, very convenient and quiet. We arrived early, and the luggage lockers were full but the concierge kindly let us leave our bags with him and then brought them up to our room. Nice room but lacked drawers for storage. There was a plastered over patch on the ceiling but not painted. The toilet roll holder was loose. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Terrible sound proofing in the halls, too. Room wasn’t in very good shape; stains on carpet, can’t close the curtains properly, water damage to the vanity in the bathroom. For such a fancy looking hotel online, the kitchen had paper plates and cups!

- Shashana (10/5): - It was exactly what my daughter and I needed for our stay in Boston while scouting colleges! The kitchenette, updated bathroom and comfy bed made a lovely place to return to after lots of campus walking. We appreciated the luggage lockers and used them before and after our stay. It was easy to get to public transportation or grab a car service, but it is also very walkable, even in the middle of February. The only (very minor) issues were the toilet paper holder kept falling apart and the coffee maker kept splattering grounds into the cup. But those aren’t enough to deter us from staying here again.

- Shu-chen (6/5): Pleasant - location and room style The kitchen does have regular cups, plates, knifes and folks; basically there is no way to cook but only to warm up food, then you also need to eat with a box. For such a kitchen setup as a Apt hotel, this price this property charges is way too high in my opinion, even it has a good location. Compared to a Sonder property in Long Island City (only 2 subway stations to the 5th Ave.) we also stayed 3 nights before going to Boston, this Sonder supported property in Boston is way to expensive.

- Elena (2/5): Skip this joint - Awful place. Check-in was protracted to say the least. Required multiple attempts to achieve. Then room was cold. Sconce at bedside would not turn off. Could not unscrew lightbulb. It finally fell off wall - clearly had been off wall previously and was hanging by a thread. Toilet ran all night. Would not flush! Bathroom floor was 30 degrees! Finally the hairdryer they said they didn’t supply but was in the room blew the breaker and most of the lights in the room went out! The breaker box would not open so I had to live in the dark! Extremely unpleasant experience. Oh, good thing I didn’t have a computer - no outlet at desk! Why have a desk! Absolutely terrible room.

- Gail (10/5): - This was a beautiful room in a great location. We were near Fenway Park, Boston Commons, and the T line. One block away was Newbury Street with plenty of shopping and restaurants. There was a park across the street where we could walk or relax. We enjoyed our stay here.
- Renata (8/5): - Very cute and conveniently located in the heart of back bay. Tiny but charming room. Incredibly quiet despite the central location. Highly recommend
- Scott (10/5): - Great experience. Somewhere in between a hotel and an airb&b. Right on commonwealth Avenue easy walk to public garden and Boston common.
- Amy (6/5): - The property seems to be billed as a hotel. It is not. "front desk" man was RUDE. No one came to clean or give us fresh towels or new coffee pods.

- Monica (7/5): Good - Love the location and the room. There was not parking available. I had stayed in other hotels with no parking, but at least the other hotels offered valet parking or different options. This hotel didn't make an effort to offer anything that could be helpful regarding parking. It was expensive for a hotel with no parking or any other accommodation for the car.
- Curt (6/5): Nice place but parking is not clear - Beware - Great area to stay. Centrally located in a safe neighborhood accessible to key local destinations. The place was very clean and checking in and out was very simple. However, ation is terrible. No clear communication at all regarding parking and parking is handled. Clear instructions would be very valuable in this case. You have to use nearby parking garages which are anywhere between five and 10 minute walks. Which is fine, as long as that is disclosed. Nowhere either in the fine print or in the print, does it state that. The only thing it states in the parking section is That it is “street parking - paid”. Very unclear in fact it’s pretty obvious that they didn’t give any further instructions on parking. That is all it says. When this was brought to the attention of the local staff, they lacked any compassion and simply stated “it was in the disclaimers in the listing” (I.e. fine print). We’re now stuck with a $60 parking ticket.
- Serena (10/5): - The location was great, there were so many shops and restaurants in walking distance! Would definitely recommend this place to a friend. The stay was charming, clean, convenient to get in/out, and had everything we needed for a short stay in Boston.

- Tamara (8/5): - Brownstone experience Not a typical hotel. More like a BnB minus getting a breakfast. Quiet. We were on the 5th floor, the top. Thank goodness.for the elevator.
- Lisa (8/5): - Space was smaller than I expected but certainly worked. One of the blinds didn’t close fully. Overall though, a nice place that had a lot of charm to it!

- Shaun (8/5): - Lots to say and enjoy about the location. Communication is a little challenging. Tv did not work and was almost 24 hours before someone at the property attempted to address. The app is also not my favorite . But that’s the only negative if that is even negative. Really like the place it’s Comfortable, great location, perfect for a long weekend couples trip. Would recommend!
