- Gabriel (10/5): The perfect place to stay in Riebeeck West and surrounds - Merindol is a beautiful historical building, perfectly restored and maintained. Vincent, the owner was on site to welcome us and make us comfortable. The location is excellent with beautiful views of the nearby mountain to the West and over the valley to the East. Very comfortable and clean room with spacious bathroom. Secure parking, close to the room was a bonus. We ere threated to a scrumptious breakfast the next morning. Allthough located in Riebeeck West, it is just a few minutes drive to Riebeeck kasteel. There are at least 2 nice restaurants within walking distance. We'll be back !

We were warmly welcomed and treated to a fabulous breakfast. Just a stone’s throw from the charming town of Riebeek-Kasteel, it’s the ideal place for a relaxing weekend escape, surrounded by exceptional wine and olive farms. Everything was perfect!

- Thea (9/5): Blissfull. - Vince, the host made contact with us long before we arrived. The check in was smooth. The room with en suite bathroom were both spacious and very clean. The door opening onto the verandah gave way to a beautiful garden.
We had a lovely evening at Marras restaurant just a short walk from Merindol Manor.
We were greeted with fresh juice and cappuccino's the next morning at breakfast, which was great!

A peaceful place where the owner is very welcoming. The place is ideally locatedbetween sea and mountains, on the shore of Kasteelberg mountain and its charming little village Riebeek.
It's always a pleasure to come back in this nice south african manor!

Every part of the Manor was spotlessly clean . Vince the owner is the perfect host. Lorenza cooked the best breakfast that we've had in a long time. The log fire was a very welcoming sight in the evening and in the morning. This place will definitely be our place to stay in the future

A small bottle of water for each guest would have been appreciated.

Guest privacy was very respected here and we could rest well. It's a stunning house and very secure with the latest technology. The Marras restaurant makes great pizza and pasta. The location is 5mins down the road from Riebeek Kasteel and a beautiful drive there and back.

Hospitality couldnt have been better especially as we were invited to join Vincents birthday celebrations which made for a very happy afternoon. Only a longer stay could have made it better

From keeping the fire going to giving us a complimentary bottle of champagne. We would recommend the place to anyone thinking of staying in the area. You can't do better than Merindol Manor.

Loved the spacious rooms, ability to sit on the veranda, quality linen on the bed and relaxing pool. Vincent provided us with useful information about activities and places in the area- an ambassador to the tourist industry in the area I will suggest that Vincent to invest in plug-in mosquito repellents for the rooms - small detail that will make a big difference.
