- Peter (8/5): - The beach view was amazing. The rooms were very disappointing especially for the rates we paid. After we checked out there were additional fees of $200 on top of the almost 900 for 2 days we stayed. We had to ask to change our booked room to 3 rooms with no discounts and even tipped the lady at the desk because we just wanted a room that didnt smell of mold. We did get a nice room eventually but still no room adjustments from the so called suites we downgraded from. The pools and hot tub were great.

Enjoyed borrowing guitar and amp sent up to our home room. No charge. Fun vibe listening to live music at the sessions restaurant on site. Nice pool area and beach access. Front desk staff and restaurant staff that we encountered were all very friendly. Stayed on a quiet rainy couple of days so didn’t get to take in any outdoor entertainment. But really enjoyed our stay anyway.

- Remond (2/5): BEWARE Bed Bugs and Broken Promises - Stay Away - Stayed at the Hard Rock in Daytona Beach. Bed bugs found in the room. Even had a photo to show management. Disposed of suitcases and clothing. Was promised a refund and a report from the exterminator, both of which never happened. Broken promises and bed bugs. You have a choice and this should not be one of them.

Hard Rock is my go to place to stay, especially when my family and friends visit me in Daytona Beach Shores. Oh the beds are comfy.

- Candace (10/5): 5 years running and it has never disappointed! - We do a girl's trip every August to HRD and it never fails to disappoint. From the time we pull up to check in, until the time we leave, it's a great time. Great service, clean room and comfortable beds. The pool server this year was exceptional - I wish I remembered her name (she was Hungarian). Always an exceptional experience!

No on site laundry, no microwave in unit, but otherwise great room. Parking charge and other resort charges but expected on vacation. Friendly, helpful staff. Great trip with my son.

- Alexander (8/5): - We spent weekend we used valet parking it was great they got our car really fast upon departure check-in was great the gentleman was great the room was clean really nice my only complaint tv is off to the corner really hard to watch i know i might be weird but on a trip we like to relax and watch tv in bed after a day out and it was not enjoyable off to the corner we ate at sessions restaurant 3 times the firt time apon arrival the waitress started great but after we got food never came back we waited 30 then asked the bartender if he could get our check she had big table and totally forgot about us her loss the other 2 times were fine we went for breakfast and the kind waitress brought my wife a cheesecake for her birthday which meant alot the pool was great they were very attentive if we needed anything but overall great trip besides the waitress that forgot about us staff was amazing

- Verified traveler (10/5): Great stay at Hard Rock - We enjoyed our stay. Just be aware that there is a 38 dollar per night resort fee, a 75 dollar per night incident fee and a 25 or 40 dollar per night parking fee. Sessions restaurant is a must. The food is spectacular.

- Blanca (8/5): Chose the wrong weekend to stay - The property is in need of updates. The wrist bands given at check in were stretched, worn out and obviously previously used. The parking lot was overcrowded. On our second day when we returned there was no empty spaces so we had to leave and go elsewhere for a while hoping another car would leave. Our Saturday beach plans were soured due to the jr lifeguards competition. The activity they had took over the whole back of the hotel . We had to walk a very long distance to find a less crowded space. There were many people that were not guests accessing the hotel pool and making the pool area crowded as well. Had we known of this competition we would not have booked here , or maybe for another weekend.

- Cassandra (10/5): One of My Best Trips - The Hardrock was amazing. I loved the fact that they were very welcoming and helpful. The view was beautiful. We stayed on the 3rd floor and the rooms are alot bigger on this floor. The rooms were cleaned everyday and they made sure they stayed on top of cleanliness. The only downside is parking. believe for the price you pay in resort fees and room cost overall parking should be free or at a more reasonable price like maybe $10 a day. Valet parking should remain the same because its a luxury

- Marcy (6/5): - Pros: The hotel is decorated like its name, Hard Rock Hotel. The lobby is impressive. The bellboy service is a nice upgrade from the typical hotel in Daytona. The rooms are nice with upgraded bathrooms. It’s right on the beach. It’s great to have a coffee bar and a restaurant right there. The staff, for the most part, is friendly. It has a nice pool with bar service, another plus (even though the bar girl asks every time she passes if you want something!). There are two hot tubs. Towels are provided at no charge. And instead of a room key, we were given a comfortable wristband, which made it so easy to unlock doors. They have a spa, which we almost used for massages, but decided not to. The staff at the restaurant and spa were friendly. Cons: Expensive stay. There is a $25 charge per day just to park your car across the street in an unprotected lot. The other alternative is $40 per day valet service (plus tip each time you get your car). The water pressure is nonexistent in the bathroom sink. They are aware of it, but no fix. The second morning we were there, the silent fire alarm went off as a test, waking us up to a blinding flashing light (and I mean blinding). It went off for an hour. I had to leave the room because flashing lights can give me migraines. The girl (Ely) at the front desk was apologetic when I went down to ask how long it would last…but was not friendly at checkout (she remembered I had complained). Kind of left a bad vibe on leaving.

- Rachel (4/5): Do not recommend Hard Rock - Hard Rock has a charge for EVERY thing and on top of the charge you will have an 18% tip! It’s absolutely ridiculous and I was hit with a 179 resort fee PLUS, a 25 dollar per day for parking and a 300 deposit that is still a “hold” on my account and we left yesterday morning!!!! Parking was awful, never spaces and the system you have to use NEVER works. I was almost hit trying to turn in because of the line of cars that were unable to use the parking readers during a hard rain. I am def not happy with the “hidden fees” with this resort.. The pool was dirty with sand and NO live entertainment on the outdoor stage as advertised.. I only seen one band the entire time we were there and it was at the restaurant, we left a day early! I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone, Sorry. It ruined our annual family vacay ☹️

- Shilah (6/5): Eh, it was just okay - Self-parking was a pain since it's across the street and the room key didn't work to open it so had to wait for someone to open and then when we got into the room, the sofa smelled of pee so that was avoided and then when we left the next day and turned the room keys in, we didn't realize that was needed to open the gate to get out of the parking lot.

- Ed (6/5): - Hotel and staff was nice but a lot of hidden fees that Expedia and the hotel doesn’t tell you about. Parking is 25 bucks a night as an example. It’s just alittle shady how they do it too. They hold a couple hundred bucks from your account when you get there but then also take out the fees, parking , taxes directly out of your account. And this is after the rooms are paid for. If you go just make sure you have an extra 500 bucks in your account between holds and what they direct charge you. Just wasn’t aware of everything they take out of your account AFTER the rooms are paid for.
