- SIOBHAN (8/5): apart from the food would definitely reccomend on location grounds - The location is stunning - really lovely and the hotel itself and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The room was great also. There is a harbour close by which we were not aware of and if I went again I may spend more time exploring the food was the only downside, I ordered sea bass and it felt like it had been microwaved. there was a lot on the menu so perhaps they would be better with fewer choices and it cooking well. I felt the same about the cooked aspect of my breakfast. I also thought it was very expensive, we were doing the NC500 and had paid £70.00 less per night in Ullapool for a very similar experience.

Gentleman on reception that was also doing the breakfasts was so pleasant and his attention to you felt 100% genuine.

Facilities and cleanliness etc are excellent but what really sets them apart from all the places we have stayed is the staff. They are all amazing. So friendly, helpful and considerate. The staff was amazing, they took care of our late arrival and even called to ask if we had eaten since we would be arriving after the kitchen's closing. They also packed us a lunch and left it at the desk for us because we had a very early tour. Excellent hospitality!
