Guest Reviews
- Thomas (10/5): - Stayed in the deluxe Cottage & loved it. It was cute, clean, with kitchenette, bbq grill and fire pit. We used them all.
- Jacqueline (10/5): - The cabin was so cute and clean. What a beautiful little town. KOA is always so clean and the staff is so friendly.
- Martha (10/5): - So close to the hot pools… the place is wonderful for a family time. I would come back :)
- Justin (10/5): - I thought the property was awesome, kept up great, close to everything, and walkable.
- Courtney (8/5): Awesome, but come prepared. - Overall, it was clean, convenient, and private. Only downside is there is NOTHING as far as linens, etc. If you aren’t driving in, you are going to run into trouble because it is impossible to pack your own everything if you are flying in. You need your own pillows, blankets, towels, even soap. However, it is clean and private, and we really enjoyed our stay.
- James (10/5): Hidden gem - Great little spot. Quiet and accessible.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Amazing place to stay :) cozy, clean, quite.. relaxing over all...
- Raymond (10/5): Great - It was nice
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location, friendly staff, excellent amenities
- Matthew (10/5): Great time!! - This was a great choice! Brand new cottage, extremely clean, comfortable and unique. Had to bring own bedding and towels, but that was no problem. Close to walk to everything and friendly staff. Will stay again!
- KM (4/5): - I have stayed here multiple times and have generally preferred it because my whole family stays here and it’s convenient, but I will never stay here again. We couldn’t sleep because the carbon monoxide detector was dying and kept beeping all night long. Finally pulled the little kitchen table over to stand on to reach up and pull the battery out. In addition to that, it didn’t seem like they had finished cleaning it before we got there. The floor was dirty and the broom and dust pan were out and leaned against the wall still. Not to mention days after I left the lady there called me to tell me to “arrange payment for the pet we had there because there was evidence of pets.” Well there certainly wasn’t a pet there and I was honestly a bit butt hurt that she falsely accused us of such. I am not a dog person. Don’t have a dog, will never have a dog. I do however have two cats AT HOME which is only two hours away and we only stayed there for one night. You don’t travel with your cats, especially not like that because it just induces stress and unnecessary trauma for them. So no, I did not have a pet, no I will not pay you more for a pet I did not have, and I am deeply offended that you are calling me a liar and falsely accusing me of having had one when I did not. Going forward, myself and much of my family will be migrating to aura soma. At least they have their own hot pool. Not to mention they’re more reasonably priced. The cottages were always a bit higher priced.
- KM (10/5): - It was really nice and cute inside. We had the hot springs we could walk to right across the street too, which was great. We will definitely go back again.
- Karen (10/5): great find! - What a great find! These deluxe cabins are very clean, they seem brand new, and probably the nicest accommodations in Lava Hot Springs. I didn't mind bringing our own linens, mad the cabin feel more homey. Very close to restaurants. We stumbled upon the soaking pools at a hotel across the street, open to the public. It seems these might be preferred by those in the know! Oh yeah, dog friendly, too! We all had a great time.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Really cool fun little place for the price, right by the market place, pool, and places to eat.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The cabin was the perfect price and comfort for a winter overnight get away.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I like that it is centrally located. You can walk to everything. I thought it was odd that I had to bring all the bedding and towels. That is not convenient.
- Shea (10/5): Lava Hot Springs Idaho - We stayed in an amazing little cottage right on the river. Everything was in walking distance. We spend 3 hours sitting in the lava hot springs on a beautiful Saturday night.
- Angela (10/5): Lovely place to stay in Lava - The cottage was cute and cozy. Luckily, I remembered to bring pillows and a blanket. Also, shampoo and soap. You need to supply your own sheets and blankets.
This cottage was extremely clean and very private. With two televisions, it was so nice to find programs to meet our needs.
Nice place to stay!!!
Loved it!!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean, very beautiful interior, close to town. Had our own patio and gas grill.
