- RITA (8/5): Just right for what we wanted for our short stay. - Location & parking good. What food we had was very good. Restaurant was used by locals both for breakfast/ lunch & dinner which is always a good sign. Beds comfortable. Good price. There is no lift to the rooms for those with walking difficulties. If I have to criticise anything, maybe the corridors & stairs could be hoovered each day.
- Nelio (10/5): -
- David (9/5): Attended this venue for attendance of a function it suited me as the function was close. - Excellent service politestaff who bent over to please. Very little dislikes to mention
- Gilberto Eduardo (1/5): Never ever again .

- Kerri (7/5): Excellent staff and dining experience - Excellent staff, very friendly and attentive. Breakfast from the menu was also excellent and we dined one evening too. We had a room at the back above the outside seating area which was slightly bigger so it was nice, however on a weekend above functions it was very noisy.
The towels need replacing - ours had holes in them which was a shame as everything else in the room was great.
- Fatouma (9/5): Lovely place to stay! - Perfect location, comfortable and spacious room, healthy and nice meals.
- Suzanne (6/5): I only slept, showered and had breakfast there. The staff were very friendly but it was overpriced - The very friendly staff. Refurbished modern bathroom. Comfortable bed with a warm light duvet in a perfect temperature room. Choice of continental (fresh croissants), yoghurt, cereal, fresh fruit or a selection of cooked options. Felt like it hadn`t been vacuumed very well. Towels were refreshed for the second day, but the bed wasn`t made, even though I offered the (very friendly) cleaner to come in and do the room rather than wait until I went out. Being on the main road, unfortunately, I couldn`t have the window open at night.

- Michelle (6/5): - Comfy bed.
Reasonably clean.
Food was lovely.
Car park attached. Check in was long.
Workers were not attentive, walked past me loads on arrival, noone let me know they would be with me soon despite looking over at me several times.
Again long wait to pay for dinner and staff not letting us know they had seen us.
Bathroom was abit smelly of sewerage.
- Tom (10/5): - Everything! Staff are always friendly and efficient. Food in the restaurant is Excellent. Really good breakfast aswell. Room is always as described and spacious…and everything works, which isn’t always the case in some places. Have stayed here 3 times now and will stay again in the future. Very good value for money.
- David (5/5): Not a great check in by any means. But staff friendly and helpful and room was comfortable overall. - Comfortable room & friendly helpful staff Room was full of flies when I checked after window had been left open on a hot day. Friendly & helpful staff helped me to quickly move room. New room smelled immediately of smoke and had to be sprayed (no other rooms available). Staff mentioned chefs had been smoking in area below room window. I was told check out was 11am, cleaners knocked on my room at 10.45, which was annoying to feel rushed on check out when I had so much hassle checking in.
- Leanne (5/5): - Room size was great and bed was comfy Very noisy, shower was cold and little to no pressure
- Chatan (10/5): Great place to stay - Lovely room and very spacious (room with sofa bed in) and very clean. Stayed here a couple of times now, same room...and love it N/a

- Ward Julie (8/5): - Plenty of space in the bedroom, friendly staff and a very nice breakfast Broken lock on bathroom door and mould in the shower cubicle
- TRACY (10/5): Perfect. - Easy check in, lovely big room, very comfortable and clean, close to town and lovely food. Came home quite late at night and staff were there to let us in straight away. Lovely stay ❤️ Couldn’t fault it
- Sheila (5/5): Nice room but very noisy. - Good location. Staff good. The noise was unexpected. Increadably loud from downstairs bar. Went on until late .
Husband found used toothpic in the bed. But otherwise room very clean.
- Tony (9/5): - Spacious bedroom plus good restaurant behind the bar None
- Wayne (8/5): -
- Claire (7/5): Ok for 1 night - Great breakfast Room was noisy due to bar/music noise even though a Sunday night and hotel outdoor floodlights lit the room through gaps around curtains - so had some difficulty sleeping
- Jaime (10/5): Our 2nd stay here we will be back amazing little hotel - Clean room
Very nice staff No dislikes at all
- Barrow (9/5): -
- Renton (9/5): - Warm bar area nice breakfast English breakfast ,warm welcome from staff No plug for bed side light although, they bring us one, cold room when first arrived.
- martin (7/5): Overall nice place to stay - Nice place - friendly evening staff Cooked Breakfast would have been better without tinned tomatoes!
- Jade (10/5): Was in the area for a work conference. Would absolutely stay again for work or leisure. Great value for money and so com - The room was lovely. Food in the restaurant was fantastic too
- Mohammed Iqbal (8/5): -
- Max (9/5): A lovely stay in my old home town - The staff were friendly and efficient, our room was clean and comfortable, and the food / wine was good.
There is a very positive atmosphere throughout the building.
Parking on site was available and free.
The location is good and there are frequent buses if you want to use public transport. There was absolutely nothing I disliked. (The only thing my husband missed was real ale but then, they don’t claim to have it.)
- Lewis (8/5): - I would like to give a shoutout to Antony who did many small things which made my stay better. I left a bottle of water at the check in, he kept it refrigerated until I returned. I ordered food to be delivered and he provided cutlery and napkins for the room. Although small gestures, he couldn’t have been more helpful.
- Alan (10/5): Overnight stay - Everything was very good, we've stayed here before and always pleased Nothing really
- John Sathiyaseelan (1/5): -
- Michael (10/5): - Everything about this place is simply superb! Amazing friendly staff. Clare, Paige and the rest of the team are all awesome! Tasty food. Definitely recommended. Having to say goodbye!
- Ffion (3/5): We would never stay again & would not recommend - Good looking from the outside. Nice bar & restaurant area We were locked out of the hotel for an hour as no one would answer the door. We nearly had to sleep in the car! Housekeeping kept knocking our bedroom door in the morning as we were getting ready to leave! The room was clean but smelt extremely musty too!!!
- Michael (10/5): - Love everything about the place. The staff are amazing. Clare, Paige, Anthony and all the others are fantastically friendly and helpful. The food is delightfully delicious. Great range of drinks. Room 10 is the star room and all the other rooms are excellent too. Definitely recommended. Having to check out!

- Hayley (2/5): - Ive stayed with Eccleston loads of time, we stayed in the suiet, the room is gorgeous, we really like it in there. The staff came to the room and accused me and my boyfriend for smoking. I do not smoke my partner does, but did it outside but accused of doing in the room. They asked us to leave or they was guna ring the police I was mortified as ive stayed here loads of times just thought I was treated with utter disrespect and I was told I cant book here again. Just felt absolutely disregarded as a loyal customer.
- Hayley (10/5): - We always like to stay at the Eccleston its a great atmosphere 👌 Maybe they could do with mini fridge in the room
- Christopher (8/5): -
- Alan (9/5): - We could not regulate our shower to a comfortable water temperature. It was piping hot and we couldn’t get any response from the control knobs to get a useable water temperature. Water pressure was good.
- George (9/5): - Hi
- Melvyn (10/5): BRILLIANT RUN HOTEL - THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE, BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLENT ,STAFF WERE FRIENDLY NONE
- Melanie (6/5): Good stay but more attention to detail needed and communication - Lovely hotel lovely comfortable beds No hand towels left in our room or toilet rolls and the tea coffee milks etc were not topped up, I had to go down in the morning to try to get some toilet rolls and hand towels which wasn't ideal. Sunday lunch would of got 5 stars but they run out of Yorkshire pudding never explained or appologised and put a half on each plate and none on the small meals and forgot roast potatoes on one .
- Daniel (10/5): -
- Stacey (10/5): We felt comfortable was the most relaxed we have felt in a long white and the sleep is the most we have had in months - Lovely atmosphere Nothing not to like
- David (10/5): -
- Carole (8/5): Lovely place - Friendly staff, nice room , good breakfast Room was very hot needed to
Open the window
- Diane (3/5): Very disappointed for a BW - expected much better - Looked promising and room was clean Power intermittent in the room, so lights kept going on and off. Lightshades didn't fit bedside lamps. Curtains let in a lot of light as didn't fit against the window recess enough. No hot water whatsoever. Constant beeping outside the room throughout whole night. Breakfast was poor

- Corrinne (8/5): - Room was well decorated, clean and spacious.
- Claire (8/5): - Breakfast and staff were great Bathroom needed an up grade as some of the fittings were loose and damaged
- Jacquelyn (7/5): OK sort your drains out - Comfy beds, tea and coffee. Evening meal and breakfast were lovely. Staff superb and helpful. Bathroom smelt room 3 drains/sewage problems it was quite bad. Room 3 thankfully we were at family most of the time. Would book again but not that room. Would upgrade hoping for a nicer smell
- Graeme (7/5): -
- Christopher (8/5): -
- Daniel (5/5): Comfy room but dirty very disappointed - It was a really comfy bed & very warm & cosy. The first room was dirty & very noisy from extractor fans from the kitchen. The second was much better however it was still sort of dirty wasn't hoovered properly & makeup stains on the floor & very rusty towel rail.
- Jon (9/5): - Very nice, helpful staff, room was very clean and comfortable. Food in the restaurant was excellent. I was stopping in room 3 on my stay and unfortunately the hotel had guests in room 2 and were very loud, playing loud music until 1 am, so I didn't get a brilliant night's sleep after a long day doing my work as a mobile service tech. Suggest the hotel make sure all guests respect and act accordingly towards other guests. I stopped at this hotel on 17.12.25.
- Antje (8/5): Cosy hotel, very personal & friendly - Very nice and cosy hotel. Spacious rooms, sufficient parking facilities, nice restaurant/ bar. Good breakfast. But the atmosphere was the best part.
- Lucy (8/5): -
- James (10/5): PERFECT and COMFORTABLE! - I stayed at Eccleston Hotel to attend a funeral for a dear family member. The hotel hosted the wake as well. I can't express enough my gratitude to Anne and her team for supportinng my family in an extraordinarily difficult period. Everybody was so attentive, but delicate with what was a big gathering of people paying their respects and honour in a tragic situtation. I can't commend them enough. It's clearly a location that is a strong environment for people to come together socially and celebrate life and joy. I commend them and recommend to all looking for warm and attentive care while travelling.
FYI...Annie if you see this...it's your guy with the head bands you had a late night drink with with.
- CECILE (9/5): Escale agréable a 30 mn de l’aeroport - Bonne ambiance, chambre bien, restaurant bien…. Il y avait du monde donc un peu d’attente mais raisonnable, on recommande Rien
- Pauline (10/5): -
- mark (10/5): - Everything was perfect
- Ryan (10/5): -
- Guest (9/5): Treat yourself and stay here. - Very friendly welcome. Great staff. Good food. Comfortable and quiet rooms. Excellent place to stay.
- Thompson (9/5): Visiting family - Great place location ,room ,staff all top dollar hence the 9 score, only reason I dont give a 10 score is if you give this mark you can only go down which you guys defo dont deserve ,but with a 9 score you can go up Cant think of anything it was top
- Paul (8/5): - Great service, helpful staff, good food
- cathy (9/5): -
- Dr.Jwan (10/5): - Everything was perfect. Nothing
- Lorraine (10/5): -
- Julie (6/5): A bit disappointing - Evening meal was very good The constant noise, even at breakfast there was music blaring out.
We were told that last orders were 10pm because of stock levels. When I said we were residents they said you'll have to charge any drinks to your room after 10pm. The pub was practically empty by 9.30pm but we had met our family there to have a Christmas celebration so it was just very flat by this point despite the music being so loud from when we checked in at 4pm. It was just a very strange stay & atmosphere
Breakfast was poor & coffee shocking
Bathroom was tiny & not particularly clean, radiator was absolutely filthy & so was the sink underneath.
- karen (10/5): Comfortable and welcoming - Lovely room, helpful staff and excellent food, we were very happy
- Dale (8/5): The facilities met our expectation, the staff were great, and we would stay there again. - The bed was very comfortable with good quality linen. Staff helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast was disappointing, but we enjoyed the cooked breakfast and the meals.
