Weg zum Strand ist durch eine stark befahrene Straße die überquert werden muss deutlich erschwert. In direkter Hotelumgebung gibt es keine schönen Bars oder geschäfte. Preise im Hotel sind recht hoch.

Le personnel est au petit soin comme nul part ailleurs, de la réception, a toute l’équipe du restaurant, au spa.. La chambre est parfaite et très propre ! Le petit déjeuner en buffet le matin est idéal pour faire ses propres choix. Et le restaurant sur place permets de pouvoir manger en restant sur place en proposant un large choix Tout était parfait !

• Robyn (10/5): Absolutely 5* for this stunning resort and it’s amazing staff!!!!! - It was beautifully presented from dining room to rooms to pool area, plenty of lounge and shade around the pool. Pool bar fabulous! Great choice at buffet breakfast, hot food (western and Asian), pastries, egg station, fresh fruit, yoghurt and cold pressed juices! The staff are amazing with complete attention to detail without being over bearing, quietly operating around you, your used plates are gone, you have another coffee, they remember your drink order… Rooms tastefully decorated, surrounded by beautiful lush gardens, great aircon and comfy as beds/ pillows. Nothing too much trouble here, at all. Free shuttle to/from Sanur centre every two hours. Also they donate their left over buffet foods to a local charity daily, and train young workers in hospitality who were an absolute pleasure to interact with. It was obvious the support they had whilst training from the more experienced staff working with them 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Would definitely come back!!! Fair walk from Sanur centre, (6km return to middle of Sanur centre), I did it a couple of times but the shuttle bus is a great option. Not a lot around within walking distance until you get to the other side of the bypass.

• Zoë (10/5): Perfecte locatie bij onze aankomst op Bali! - Het was heerlijk relaxed in het resort. Het personeel was super vriendelijk! Het eten was heerlijk. Het was een ideale plek om tot rust te komen van de lange reis. Er was ook nog een gratis shuttle service naar het midden van het centrum! Een extra toppunt was de goede chauffeur die ons ophaalde op de airport en meedacht over het vervolg van onze reis!

• Sally (9/5): Brilliant resort and staff, very pret tu place to chill and relax. - The staff were amazing, the rooms are great with all the extra things like outdoor shower if your on the ground floor. Pool was so pretty and good size. Buffet was good, variety of food, bed was comfortable and room was clean. The location was out of Sanur beach, the hotel offers a shuttle transport every hour and takes about 10 mins each way.

• Rachelle (6/5): Mooi hotel, maar niet geschikt voor een rustige vakantie als koppel - Mooie kamer, grote bedden Bij zo’n mooi hotel hadden we ook een relaxte rustige sfeer verwacht, dat was helaas niet zo. Er waren veel grote families met luidruchtige mensen en schreeuwende kinderen. Er was iemand jarig dus het personeel ging heel hard happy birthday zingen bij het ontbijt, dat is natuurlijk leuk, maar niet op zondag ochtend om 08:45 als je ligt te slapen.. Na het ontbijt waren alle ligbedjes aan het zwembad al bezet. Daarnaast waren er bouwwerkzaamheden naast het hotel, dus op maandag ochtend hoorde we de herrie hiervan. Het is vrij normaal dat een hotel je hier vooraf over informeert, dat is niet gebeurt. We hadden een kamer met “pool view” maar we keken boven op een overkapping dus je ziet alsnog niks. Er ontbrak een rek op de kamer of op het balkon om je natte zwemkleren en handdoeken op te hangen. Dit hotel is leuk voor families met kinderen, maar zeker niet voor een koppel die een rustige vakantie wil.

• Annemarie (10/5): The Alantara is old school Bali wrapped up in a luxurious modern resort facility with magnificent gardens throughout - Fabulous resort with beautiful rooms and the staff were the most friendliest and helpful including the students they take . Such a lovely resort with best buffet breakfast and pool was divine . Wished I’d booked for longer Not one single thing did I not like !!

• Francois (9/5): Bel hôtel proche aéroport pour remplir vos valises d'articles avant de décoller. - Très bel hôtel. Bien situé pour découvrir Sanur. La suite est correcte pour le prix bien qu'il en existe de bien plus grandes pour le même prix à Bali. Le personnel est charmant et très (un peu trop) avenant comme un peu partout à Bali. Le petit déjeuner est un buffet avec beaucoup de choix dont des plats indonésiens. Le choix de jus de fruits est important. La navette est très appréciable. Elle vous dépose devant un supermarché où les prix sont très abordables et où vous pouvez même faire de bonnes affaires en fouillant un peu. Le bruit fait par les meubles qui sont bougés à l'étage au dessus. C'est insupportable surtout pendant le ménage le matin. Il faudrait mettre des patins où apprendre aux personnes qui nettoient à soulever les chaises.

My wife ordered Salmon, it got served still half frozen. I ordered the sirloin, there was more salt than meat on that thing. -Breakfast: chemical juices which is a shame We booked this hotel for our last night in Bali as it wasn’t too far away from the airport, it was cheap, and it showed… Because it’s cheap, you end up with loads of families there, which is fine, but if your plan is to rest and chill, I would definitely recommend booking another hotel to avoid the 10 kids running around. We have done some 3/4 stars hotels during our trip, where the food was 100 times better, for the same amount of money you pay here. Really underwhelming, especially after reading all those good reviews… We will definitely never be coming back here

• Klimmek (10/5): - A little Oasis in town. It had everything you need and after leaving another hotel that felt a bit unsafe. I felt very safe and didn't have to leave and just relax. If you did want to leave and go explore by foot there isn't a lot to do. So you definately need to catch transportation and plan you meals if you plan to leave the hotel.

• Mile (9/5): Happiness as you walk in the resort felt. - Breakfast good value for money , room on second floor within minutes from swimming pool, live enterntainment, music ,singer with a bit of evergreen songs ,something that I enjoyed to hear. Best of all is swimming pool surrounded by trees ,forming shadows ,preventing strong sunlight at any time of the day ,l found the section of the pool where I swam.Restourant's tables alongside the pool in the evening presented Bali atmosphere. Staff excellent, polite, Febry and Ita ,thank you. 40 minutes away from the airport.Since resort has the shuttle it would be nice to have airport pick up at reasonable charge,say 20% less than taxi ,even free of charge for guest staying minimum 5 nights.

Exceptional service, great food and very amazing staff, very friendly and they make sure we’re well taking cared of, especially Ayu( the best ever receptionist, Hagas( supervisor ), Wayan(night shift receptionist email on instagram on time, Fren the student front desk, driver Wira/komang, Kitchen staff Ita, Bayu, Febry, Restu, Whayu, Meika,Asti, Mesya, Eddy and Elisia. Putu the photographer. Spa staff gave us excellent pampering, glowing at its finest( Candri, Maddie, Ayu, Ica and the other lady who did my body scrub soooo good, forgot her name. We’re so relaxed, serenity, detox, stress all gone because of Alantara’s amazing staff. Thank you for giving us this opportunity to do our self care. We’ll definitely recommend this place. • Jonathon (10/5): Great place & fantastic staff ! - Staff are wonderful , the whole place is very clean . Our room was excellant , private pool & the bed was big & comfortable . So many friendly staff on hand to attend to everything . We enjoyed breakfast , the coffee was SO GOOD . It is a small distance from the beach but getting a Grab taxi was so cheap & fast it didn’t matter .
• Alice (9/5): Excellent value for money. 100% recommend. - It was brilliant and I’d highly recommend. There was a small amount of building to one side but I changed rooms and didn’t hear anything again.
• Hanna (10/5): Would highly recommend. Very baby friendly and wonderful staff. Beautiful resort :D - The room was wonderful and very baby friendly as they have a curtain divider to block out the light coming in from the outdoor bathroom. The cot was great too. Bed was very comfy and didn't make any noise which was good with a baby. The only thing that would be great, but didn't effect us, would be to have the shuttle from the Alantara to the main road in Sanur to run a little more frequently. But like I said, it didn't effect us.

• Dammerun (10/5): Great hotel at an affordable price! - Stayed here for 4 nights and had a great time. The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful! The hotel is a bit from the center of Sanur, ans also a bit far from the beach. But the hotel provides a complimentary shuttle bus both ways! With a time schedule. So there was no issues getting to the center and back and to the beach and back. The pool was nice and nice with a pool-bar.
• anoutsider (10/5): Incredible hotel for the price - Really enjoyed this hotel. Booked a two-bed villa with a private pool, and felt like we were living the high life without the expense! Really great value for a beautiful setting. Staff very helpful. Most seemed to be students on placement, and my feedback would be that they are excelling in their role! Ordered the 'floating breakfast' for our 10 year anniversary. Was set-up professionally and exactly what we wanted. Breakfast buffet on other days was good, although perhaps the selection wasn't the widest. Smaller hotel than some though so perhaps understandable. Location was a little far away from things, but had no issue getting grabs to where we wanted to go.
• erinaY6360KA (10/5): 4 night stay at The Alantara Sanur - We had a very pleasant 4 night stay at The Alantara Sanur. The location is an extremely short 5min drive to the beach with the hotel offering daily shuttles which was very convenient. The atmosphere was very relaxing & calm throughout the hotel. We stayed in the deluxe room on the third floor which had a beautiful view of the pool from our balcony where we enjoyed spending most nights and we could enjoy hearing the live music being played on certain nights from the restaurant. The room was clean however the shower temperature does not get very hot & at times a certain smell came when you initially started the shower but it goes away after a few minutes. The room had aircon, a television and was stocked up with all you need. The service was the best, all the staff were friendly and went out of their way to make you feel welcome and to make sure all your needs were met. They were very kind to keep our luggage as we had an evening flight and allowed us to use the spa's shower before we left for the airport. We enjoyed using the pool which was always the perfect temperature as well as the pool loungers. Overall, a very good experience and would definitely be back again.
• Simkaa (8/5): Authentic Feeling Boutique Balinese Resort! - Nicely hidden away in a quiet part of Sanur, this resort had a very relaxed, tropical vibe, with very friendly staff! The central pool is nicely designed with fountains and tropical plants. We liked our room (top floor, overlooking the pool), our only real issue was the glass doors for the toilet and shower... Just felt wrong and I don't really understand the thinking behind this annoying trend?? But overall... A very pleasing experience!
• 391henrye (10/5): Amazing Family Holiday - We had the best stay at The Alantara. It’s such a beautiful hotel, tucked away so it feels peaceful and private with really lush grounds and a genuinely relaxing vibe. The rooms were nice and comfortable, and the food was consistently great. What really made the trip though was the staff. Everyone was so warm, welcoming, and genuinely fun to be around that it felt less like staying at a hotel and more like being looked after by friends. A special mention to Puspita, Pande, and Bayu - they were all amazing - but honestly every single staff member we came across was fantastic. We really hope we get the chance to come back one day.
• Kim (9/5): Great place to rest and recharge before heading to Gili Islands - This spot is the perfect stopover before heading to Gili Air Island early the next day. The convenient location means you can easily pick up any supplies and have a wander around the area. The pool is fantastic, the gardens are beautifully kept, and it was a real bonus to enjoy dinner at the onsite restaurant.

• Cleo (10/5): We will definitely be back! Most amazing stay! - The staff were very friendly, always asking about our day and if we needed anything. The buffet breakfast that was included in our stay was the best we ever had! This wasn’t too much of an issue, but the hotel is located on the other side of the bypass which meant you had to cross busy traffic when going to the beach.
• Jennifer (10/5): Perfect! - We all (7 of us) LOVED the Alantara. Amazing attentive friendly staff. Excellent food. Pool area is devine especially the swim up bar. I liked the location being away from the busy beach and shopping area with a pool that anyone walking down the beach path isn't peering into.
