• Chelsea (8/5): Comfortable and in a great location - Very comfortable rooms. Great water pressure and hot water. Excellent location. Great communication from staff The kitchen facilities were old and you need a coffee percolator and a toaster. I like to cook so I found the kitchen could be better equipped.
• Campos (9/5): - As camas eram bastante confortáveis e o quarto era muito bonito. Todo o alojamento local era muito bonito e de fácil acesso. De certeza que iremos voltar, visto que tem uma ótima relação qualidade preço. O quarto era um pouco frio, visto que não apresentava aquecedor, por isso talvez era uma boa opção colocar umas mantas nas épocas mais frias. Outra coisa é que o quarto tinha alguma iluminação mas não era muito forte, o que por vezes era insuficiente.

• Lucia (9/5): check in caótico pero estancia perfecta - el apartamento para 4 personas es maravilloso, tiene balcón, además hay una azotea comunitaria con vistas bonitas, nos hicieron las camas por la mañana el check in no se hace en el mismo sitio que el alojamiento (no es un gran problema porque está cerca, puedes ir andando) aún avisando a la hora a la que llegábamos nos hicieron esperar 40 minutos porque la habitación no estaba lista, cuando por fin pudimos ir a la habitación la llave no funcionaba, tuvimos que esperar a que viniesen a abrirnos, por suerte si tienes algún problema contestan con rapidez a los mensajes

• göran (1/5): wir würden uns eher nicht mehr für diese unterkunft entscheiden, zumindest nicht für die lodge. - die lage hat uns gefallen. ebenso die kleine dachterrasse. dank der netten praktikantin ela am empfang konnte das schlüsselproblem (öffnete die türen nicht), nach etwas verzögertem rückruf, telefonisch gelöst werden. blickdichte vorhänge und fensterläden haben straßengeräusche und licht ausreichend gefiltert. bilder bei booking.com entsprachen nicht der realität. die hauptadresse (rezeption) machte einen besseren eindruck. von dort stammten evtl. auch die fotos. diese haben mit der lodge aber nichts zu tun ! mindestens erwartbar im zimmer wären eine ablage oder schreibtisch mit stuhl. wir hatten keine wahl, außer unsere kleidung im koffer auf dem boden zu lassen. verletzungsgefahr auf terrasse durch herausschauende schrauben, meine tochter zog sich eine blutige schramme zu, die im weiteren urlaubsverlauf weiter behandelt werden musste!!! kein aufzug. eine klimaanlage hätte das schlafen erleichtert. wären wir länger als 3 nächte geblieben, hätte ich reklamiert und ein anderes zimmer verlangt!

• MARIE (2/5): Beaucoup trop cher pour ce que c est - L’emplacement Nous sommes arrivés au lodge, là il y a un mot sur la porte qui nous indique que l’on doit traverser la ville pour aller chercher les clés, donc nous avons dû nous séparer, il y en a qui sont restés avec les valises… été soir quand nous sommes rentrés nos bips ne fonctionnaient plus pour rentrer dans l’établissement. J’ai essayé de contacter la personne de l’hôtel, qui m’avait donné un numéro à appeler en cas de problème… mais elle ne m’a pas répondu… donc nous avons dû réveiller mes parents qui dormaient… mais heureusement que nous étions plusieurs, sinon je ne sais pas comment nous aurions fait pour rentrer dans le lodge… nous aurions dû re traverser la ville pour aller à l’hôtel… mais sur les 4 bips sur nous avions ( pour 4 chambres) seulement 1 fonctionnait le soir en rentrant du restaurant… tout ça sans compter que nous avons payé environs 140€ la nuit alors que pour moi ça ne veut pas plus de 60€ la nuit par chambre…

• Harley (7/5): Had a great time at WOT. Great location and friendly staff. - The location was amazing sith a nice terrace to enjoy the sun. The facilities were outdated and could some new appliances.
• Nicole (3/5): Too loud - I changed to the WOT Ericeira Hotel after one night. - The interior design is very beautiful, the house is charming I am not the target group for this accomodation: I need peace, quiet, sleep. The room was towards a busy street, the house itself poorly soundproofed and you can hear every noise in the next room or when someone opens a door in the house, the matress was hard. Also, there was no Wifi. I was lucky: After one night I was able to change to the hotel. I was able to sleep there and had working Wifi. Happy end.

• Laura (4/5): Location good - Location Place wasnt like in photos what is on Booking. Its absolutly different and price is to expensive for room laike that. There even no kettle to get hot water and oven is not working. The pictures showed that there was a beautiful seating area on the balcony , but in reality its looks terrible and not like in pictures. And every noise its possible hear over walls. Thats why think twice if you reserve that place. 85 € is to much for room for one person, for such a place at most 35€ and no more

• NCSantos (10/5): Relaxed, cozy and comfortable - Excelent value for money! Amazing little guest house with a cozy vibe and right on the center of ericeira. Walking distance from the beach and all the bars and restaurants around! Awesome experience. Easy to check in and friendly staff that clarifies everything and gives you tips to enjoy the night life and surf spots all around. Found some secret jams and locals are also really friendly. I Will get back soon.
• Seda (1/5): Do not book this! The worse experience ever! - This place is a scam. They sold us a twin room (double room with 2 separate beds) which they don’t even have a room like this but they have the photos and the option on Booking.com BEDBUGS! This place is filled with bedbugs. There is no hygiene. There has been blood stains all over the cushion of the chair. They claim to clean the bathrooms 2 times a day, during the unfortunate 48 hrs we have spent, no one has ever cleaned anything. I know this because we kept track of certain p*bic hairs present all around. The reception is also 8 mins walk way and they always say they couldn’t reach the manager as a reason.

• Anna (6/5): Handy, great location but very noisy building. - The location was fantastic as it’s right near the main square and the sea. The staff were helpful in upgrading us when we had issues with noise. The hostel is very noisy and we didn’t get much sleep. Late at night and early in the morning, loud noises can be heard. We also had issues with our fob key getting into the main door and the room itself, having to ring reception in the hotel multiple times to sort this issue. The fob keys would randomly stop working and it was a bit of an inconvenience. Although the rooms are bright and the decor is nice, the rooms are a tad dirty, with hairs and stains on the pillows.

Had to check in at a different location, difficult to find the entrance to the lodge with 3 different doors, room was on 3rd floor which I usually don’t mind but this felt like a maze. Common areas pretty dark.

No option for changing as the place was fully booked. Apparently this is booking.coms fault not WOT Ericeira Lodge though.

• Susan (6/5): Nice location for a hostel - This hotel is basically a hostel and was just ok. The room we booked was on the third level and there was no air conditioning and it was very very hot. It was a short walk to our "guest house" along cobble stone streets but finding the check in counter at another location was difficult for our driver. Room was very bare bones but ok in cleanliness. When moving the side tables to find an outlet to plug in the lights there were some bugs but the windows needed to be open because it was so hot. I think the price was a bit high for what we got but it was one of the last places available and it was a very busy time in the little beach town so it is understandable.
• sabinewirth (10/5): Great first Ericeira experience - The lodge is right in the centre of Ericeira, everything is within easy walking distance. The rooms are lovingly furnished. The staff are super helpful and always there when you need someone.

• Lotte (5/5): Passable - The staff was nice and helpful and the rooms were and shared bathrooms were tidy and clean. The kitchen was almost every day a complete mess and pretty dirty. The common areas are pretty rundown and neglected. There is not really an outdoor area where you can sit and hang out.

There was no cleaning service for my room offered. The wi-fi wasn't always consistent, and in my room on the 2nd floor I'd have to sometimes fall back on using my data. The person who works there also lives/spends a lot of time on-site which makes it very awkward. Toaster is broken, no dish washer tablets, and not enough utensils.

• Scoopy (3/5): Youth Hostel with a terrible Check-In process and other flaws - In King Size Room: - Large Room - Large Bed - Sofa - Little terrace on the roof - Abysmal Check-In Process - Lack of Reception Desk and ringing the door bell does not help when nobody is opening the entrance door - Neither air conditioning nor ceiling fan available but quite hot inside the room - Noise from walking street when opening the windows - Noisy wooden floors - Noisy room doors, impossible to be closed quietly - Youth Hostel Vibes There is no reception and the Check-In works with the WOT app by scanning front and rear of ID Document and doing selfie which later turned out to be just a waste of time. Unable to enter the property before Check-In time of 3pm. We received a pin code by the WOT app to unlock the entrance door to the property only a few minutes before 3pm without any instructions prior about when we would receive the mentioned pin-code. So we walked back to the WOT Lodge only to find out that the keyless entry lock was broken and we were not able to enter the pin-code. This time when we rang the door bell someone opened the door but told us to go to the other WOT property 5 minutes away to do the Check-In. When we arrived there we still had to provide ID Documents etc. which made the Online Check-In completely pointless and a waste of time. Here they gave us a token to open the entrance door of the WOT Lodge but we were told to wait ten minutes since they had to confirm first if the room is ready. Finally after we were told the room was ready we walked back to the WOT Lodge only to find out that the door token we received does not work either. Luckily when ringing the door bell this time some staff also opened the door and also managed to activate our door token by doing a phone call to the other WOT property.

• Jon (4/5): - First impressions were pretty bad, when my room was not clean. The rest of the house was even worse, especially the shared kitchen. Furthermore check in is at a different location which was not informed. Located on the main street you have everything within arms length, but it also means that there is a lot of noise from the street. I would imagine it would be a problem during summer. My room was very cold. Window could not close and door was not tight. It would have helped with a thicker blanket. Very noisy house. You can hear everything that is going on. Only positive thing was a firm good bed

Didn’t like the logistics, we had to go to the main location to get the check-in, once it’s late and you just want to arrive it’s annoying walking one away around.
