Les propriétaires sont adorables, le dîner est excellent et visiter la ferme de cacao est une chance inouïe. Les bungalows sont simples mais bien équipés. Vraiment une adresse que je recommande. Rien ! Tout était parfait !

En er is een kleine cacao plantage waar je een rondleiding krijgt! Alles was goed!

Das Resort liegt in einer friedlichen und ländlichen Umgebung, die sich gut erkunden lässt. Gut gelegen für Ausflüge zum Kkao Yai Nationalpark.

Gunilla (9/5): Genuint, spännande och ett minne för livet! - Ägaren Munin och resten av personalen (hans familj) var underbara! Trevliga och omtänksamma på alla vis. Munin tog sig tid att berätta om chokladfarmen och visade oss runt. Vi bokade även en heldag i nationalparken Khao Yai och åkte med Munin. Flera vattenfall, tre olika vandringar och enastående utsikt över parken som avslutning. På vägen hem till farmen besökte vi en lokal nattmarknad med spännande mat och överallt vänliga människor. Vi är så nöjda och kan varmt rekommendera ett besök på Saengcha Farm. Tack! Inget.
Carlos (10/5): Friendly home stay farm with small scale chocolate manufacture. - The accommodation is basic but it is clean and cozy. Super value for the money. The staff if friendly and they have adorable/friendly dogs, my daughters loved hugging them. The breakfast is very tasty and you can sit outside and enjoy the fresh morning weather. Finally, they have a small scale cacao plantation to finished chocolate products, they give you a 1 hr tour of the operation right there on the farm. Not really a negative, only that the entrance is narrow and a big SUV/ minivan may not fit. No problem, can get in from the back.
Christine1410 (8/5): Gezellige plek! - Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst. Leuke rondleiding gekregen in de kleinschalige chocolade fabriek. Veel uitleg gekregen over het bezoek aan het nationaal park. Hou er rekening mee dat het 45 minuten rijden is naar het park. Lekker ontbijt! Het geblaf/lawaai van de honden en de dame die aan het vegen was (zeer vroeg in de ochtend). Neem oordopjes mee! Weinig verlichting in de kamer en een hard bed (dat is bijna overal zo in Thailand 😬).

ashley (10/5): Perfect - The hosts were amazing showing us around there chocolate factory we even helped out making chocolate tea. It was quite when we were there so went on a dog walk with the owner and 5 of his dogs couldn’t ask for more but more just kept on coming. We eat there at night the food was great and very reasonable even got a lesson in how to eat Thai food correctly It’s was very quiet clean and super friendly
Sascha Schulz (10/5): - Wonderful stay on the farm. The bungalows are clean and well equipped. The food served was the most delicious I ate during my trip to Thailand – incredibly tasty. Munin and his family are very warm and all the dogs are super lovable. I particularly enjoyed walking with them. There is also an informative course on chocolate making after you have been allowed to visit the cocoa plantation. Khao Yai National Park is only half an hour away. I can wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation and will be back again next year. Thank you for everything! 🙏🏻 Time passed far too quickly.

Helen (10/5): - Munin and his colleagues made us feel so welcome. It is a proper farm stay surrounded by nature, so if you are looking for 5 star luxury, this is not for you. However if you want 5 star Thai welcome and friendship then you will definitely find it here. Breakfast and supper were lovingly prepared by Munin's brother. Everything was delicious and we learned so much about Thai cuisine and eating. Munin took us on a guided tour of nearby Khao Yai National Park, finding suitable trails for those of us able to walk rougher paths and keeping company with my husband who couldn't manage to walk far. We would not have been able to do that without him. He is passionate about his cacao project and gave us an informative tour of the chocolate making process as well as letting us taste the fabulous end product! His Mexican chocolate drink is a must try. We loved everything about Saengcha Farm Resort, especially Munin and his dogs! Nothing.

It's super interesting to see all the processes involved in the chocolate making (and eating...) I really enjoyed working on the farm and getting to know the trees a bit better. The hosts Munin and Sanegcom are exceptional.. Sane is an amazing chef and made me some of the best food on my trip. It was also lovely to meet the family and the dogs are such a welcome sight. It is so nice to be somewhere that feels so homely. The hosts went out their way to ensure I was comfortable and looked after. They're really nice people and I will be back. The hut was super cute and comfortable, the bed was really comfy and huge ! Thank you so much, I loved it all.🙏☺️

Natasha (9/5): Great little place to park and unwind, and explore nature. - Lovely staff and location. Beautifully set in a Cacao farm setting with lots of lovely dogs to play with. When we arrived they offered to make us as everything was closed nearby so we felt really welcomed. Breakfast is fresh, local and simple, just mind that there won't be western frills here and you will be happy. Amazing chocolate. Wish we got more!!! Our room was equipped with the basics we needed and big enough to spread out. The market in town and in prachinburi are the best we've experienced in thailand so far. Sure there are bigger ones and more variety in chiang mai and Bangkok but this was a local market - no tourists.. we were the only ones. If you want to really feel like you're in thailand learning about thai people definitely come here. We came during dry season so no waterfall but the nature and national park were amazing. The dogs and staff are quite loud from early morning - I'm a light sleeper so that was difficult in a bungalow across from the dogs house. But they had space and moved us so it was much better after that.
Ruth (10/5): One of our favourite places in Thailand. - This was everything we look for in a place to stay. We arrived early after a hot bicycle ride and we welcomed warmly and given a lovely cold drink. We booked the bigger bungalow and it had a microwave, kettle, fridge and a sitting area with a sofa. It’s a chocolate farm and their excellent chocolate is sold at their coffee shop. Dinner and breakfast were filling and great. Highly recommended!
Kate (10/5): Exceptional - this was an amazing stay. Munin and all of the workers were amazing and so welcoming! My friends and I enjoyed this stay so much and would 100% come back. Munin took us on a tour of Khao Yai national park and we got to see not one but two wild elephants! It was an amazing experience. The food was also all homemade and was delicious! We also got a tour of how the chocolate is made on the farm, which was very interesting and fun to learn about. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Laurits (10/5): Above and beyond any expectations - We absolutely loves coming here. We only had two nights, due to other travelling plans, but We could easily have States for longer. Such friendly and welcoming hosts. We spent One day praline the local food Market, which was such a treat with a lo al guide. I mean, who hasn’t been at a thai market and wanted to try all sorts of stuff, but found the language barrier limitating. We came back to the farm packed with all sorts of delicacies for dinner. Second day thet cooked dinner for us. Absolutely delightful. We did second day at the national park; elefants, monkeys and breath taking scenery. Saengcha is a cocoafarm, and We bought great quality single original chocolate to take Home to our Family. Wish We could have stayed for waterfall tours and a trip to the plantation. We found a cheap taxi from Bangkok and Got a ride to the train, so although a bit Remote, it was so easy to get there. Best of stays Nope.
Susanne (10/5): Relaxing stay with amazing hosts - The kindness of Munin and his family, including the volunteer as well, made our stay amazing. It's clear the family puts all they have into their business. We enjoyed the daily homecooked (vegetarian) food cooked by Munin's brother, company of the sweet dogs, and trying the chocolate of the farm. The place had a very relaxed feeling, we enjoyed some hammocks for reading and the little terrace at the bungalow. Munin even showed us his temple & we met some kind friends there. Everyone should try the Mexican chocolate drink, it's incredible to know how they make it right at the farm. Munin also took us for a full day trip at Khao Yai NP, where we enjoyed viewpoints and made different small walks. The only negative thing to say is that we got a few itchy bites from small flies that are around the farm. But that doesn't spoil the experience.

Andrew (10/5): Superb great place to stay & enjoy Thai hospiltaly - WOW don't miss this place, we arrived late and was greeted by the owner & his brother they even cooked us an evening meal which was first class dining The rooms were comfy & spotlessly clean with good facilities The breakfast was superb both mornings with plenty to eat The place was so good we booked another nights stay On the second night the brothers took us & another guest Christoff from Belguim to a Thai night market which was such a great experience, we bought food and all dined together in the garden. Di (10/5): Exceptional - We spent two nights on the farm and had a wonderful time. The host was very kind and welcomed us with efficiency and friendliness. He let us try their typical food, showed us around the farm, and patiently explained all the must-see places in the park. Sleeping on the farm was rejuvenating after being in chaotic Bangkok. If you want to have an authentic, non-tourist experience this place is not to be missed.

Mclendon (8/5): I was well taken care of and it was an enjoyable stay in a quaint village. - The hosts were very accomodating and this is an interesting location in rural Thailand with many beautiful waterfalls in the wet season and an easy drive to Khao Yai National Park. Saengcha has a chocolate farm and a cofeeshop. It offers organic dark chocolate and other interesting activities. AC could have been stronger, but the host did not complain when I left it on even when not in the room so it was cool when I returned. There is solar on the farm, so this is probably the reason for no complaints.

Tabitha (10/5): I've had the time of my life! - Everything! I couldn't have made a better choice. Lovely bungalow with high ceiling, set in the garden. Everything i needed: fridge, table and chairs, exceptionally comfortable double bed. Efficient air-conditioning, good shower and surrounded by nature. Homemade chocolate, dogs to cuddle, lovely family who included me in their activities, delicious food.freshly prepared by Munin's brother Saean, who is a talented chef. A coffee shop selling coffee and artisan chocolate produced on the farm. Mexican Chocolate drink is to die for. Mumin takes guests on evening walks with the dogs, we went swimming in the river, and visited Khao Yai national park for the day, saw an elephant and her baby. Its possible to make your own chocolate too. Nothing. Perfect for me. Didn't want to leave.
Jordi (9/5): Go to place in the area! - Only stayed for one night and that is my only regret. Very nice hosts who can also guide you through Khao Yai on a day trip. Definitely recommend eating at the farm, excellent chef! Had a nice talk and I will be back when I am around the area, also for that trip. They just had an encounter with a wild family of elephants. They also make their own eco friendly chocolate, soap and tea.
Werasak (9/5): It's good value for the price you pay. - The owner is so friendly and serves us very well. The bedroom is spacious and the bed is big and comfortable. We can park in front of the room, so it's convenient for us. Tourist information is well explained and provided by the owner. Nothing to complain.

Mui Hua Jean (10/5): - Saengcha resort is a family run resort and there is absolute personalised service from Munin, the owner and his brother! The breakfast is excellent and they will even cook excellent local meals on request. Munin also runs an agar wood essential oil factory and a cocoa factory shott distance off premise. It was so interesting getting to know the process of making essential oil and chocolates respectively from Munin. We stayed there as we wanted to go Khao Yai national park. We didn't have a car and Munin planned a marvellous itinerary for us at khao yai and drove us around the entire day(for a very reasonable fee). We trekked in designated treks (munin dropped us off and picked us up at the other side of the trek), even saw wild elephants and that was the super highlight of the trip. He loaned us bicycles to cycle around to the nearby waterfalls and we had quite an adventure getting lost... but it was plenty of fun. On the whole the experience created by Munin and his brother made a superb memorable trip! Very highly recommend you entrust your holiday to his hospitable and personalised self! He arranged to have us sent back to bangkok too.

Emily (10/5): Amazing Farm Getaway - Munin was the best host, friendly and able to give us tips on local activities, even driving us there. Amazing dinner and breakfasts. Comfortable room with A/C, big bed, a fridge and a mosquito net. Peaceful location, and meeting the families 5 dogs was great. Also, he has a cacao farm which you can tour, the farm produces delicious chocolate!

Imogen (10/5): Exceptional - If you’re looking to stay near Khao Yai national park you have to stay here. The owner and his brother take care of this homestay are extremely friendly and helpful. They let us check in early after we arrived at 8am from Bangkok. The owner runs a chocolate production on site which you can tour and will also teach you how to cook your favourite Thai dishes from locally sourced market food for dinner. He comes equipped with local and province maps and so many great suggestions on where to go. I couldn’t recommend this homestay more! Absolutely nothing

Michael (10/5): Superb!!! - The owner is so nice! They will cook you an excellent evening meal upon request for 200 bhat. The included breakfast is also amazing. The owner can take you out not the park. The property is a little bit away from the town. So transport or taxis needed (We had our our transport) Thank you soo much 🙏
Markus (10/5): Two weeks far beyond my expectation! - I had an outstanding time at this beautiful piece of earth at the edge of Khao Yai national park. Together with his wonderful team, the host Moonin made me enjoy every moment of my stay. Before the daily delicious breakfast, he would take me to jogging with his dogs at sunrise - at least the days when I managed to get up at 5:30 :D. We went swimming at local waterfalls and he showed me everything about making chocolate in his own little chocolate factory - from harvesting the cacao bean to making a tasty iced chocolate in his farm cafe. Moonin also introduced me to some of his friends with whom we had dinner some evenings and joined the local temple's Kathin festival, what a great time! My personal highlight was our evenings at the local temple where Moonin taught me about the fundamentals of Buddhist philosophy and introduced me into meditation - a unique experience I will never forget! I can sincerely recommend this place to anyone seeking for a genuine experience of Thai hospitality, great home-cooked food...and delicious, self-made chocolate!
Paul (8/5): Quiet and relaxing stay. It was nice to meet the host and family (and dogs). - Lovely, helpful and welcoming host, comfortable room, got to learn about the making of chocolate. Traditional Thai breakfast wasn’t to our taste. It’s quite remote so bike or car is needed.
Daniel (9/5): Lovely, peaceful stay near less touristy attractions: waterfalls, temples,... - Complimentary breakfast was quite decent and healthy. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. He let us join him and his dogs for an evening walk at the scenic Khao Yai National Park panoramic viewpoint.
Michel (10/5): king overnight from Bangkok - The property is on a quiet back road and the people are wonderful. They have a simple and honest facility that is great for the price. The breakfast was fresh fruit, a wonderful Thai omelette and fresh coffee. Again, not fancy, but good ingredients made well. I went up to Khao Yai for the biking and will return again to this place.as a base of operations.
