• Steve (7/5): Great location but can be noisy at night. - Rafael is a brilliant host, very welcoming, helpful and responsive. The property is well located near to the beach and restaurants. The property is an older one with character. The kitchen has all the basic things needed, the dinning room and lounge are comfortable. We were not able to use the garden much as the parasol was broken and was away for repair. Despite the great location to the beach, it is a built up residential area and most nights there was noise from the adjoining street till 2-3 am. As a result, you are not able to have the windows open and there is no air conditioning so very warm at night. The twos fans provided some limited relief. The double bed needs replacing as it makes a lot of noise when you turn over during the night.

• Valérie (9/5): Séjour très agréable - Accueil parfait, disponibilité ok. La maison est très bien située, proximité commerces et plage (Praia da rocha). Tout peut se faire à pied en 5 minutes. La place de parking est vraiment un plus en saison (août). Les équipements correspondent à l'annonce. Le grincement du sommier et du matelas du grand lit est vraiment désagréable. Le bruit, la nuit, est vraiment pénible, certainement dû à la proximité des commerces.

• Ganhao (9/5): Would definitely book again. - The inside and outside spaces were nicely decorated. The hot tub outside was a really nice feature as well as the BBQ. Some of the mattresses were not as comfortable as others but that was minor.
• Axel (8/5): Wunderbares Haus mit belebter Nachbarschaft - Der Vermieter hat uns bei Ankunft empfangen, wir hatten Verspätung, was überhaupt kein Problem war. Auch während des Aufenthaltes hat sich der Vermietern super gekümmert. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und entspricht genau den Beschreibungen. Die Außenanlage war scheinbar ganz neu hergerichtet, den Whirlpool haben wir sehr genossen. Für ein kleines Fahrzeug ist ein Parkpatz auf dem Grundstück. Angesichts der wilden Parksituatin in Portimao eine tolle Sache. Das Haus liegt wirklich zentral, nur ein paar Minuten vom Strand und der Flaniermeile von Portimao Es gibt nur eine Sache, die uns nicht gefallen hat: Der Lärm aus den Nachbargebäude. Es handelt sich um ein Haus, dass offenbar vornehmlich für junge Reisende für Jungesellenabschiede und Ähnliches vermietet wird. In den 14 Tage, in denen wir vor Ort waren, wurde dort gerne bis tief in die Nach draußen gefeiert. Trotz Wärme musste man die Fenster schließen. wobei der Lärm auch dann zu hören ist. Schade, weil das Haus ansonsten ein echtes Juwel ist.

• Abbey (10/5): Extremely spacious room! - Superb location and short walk from the beach! The host Rafael was friendly and accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The room was extremely spacious and had everything that you could need for a short stay. Thank you for having us :)

• Carreira (10/5): Would stay here again in a heartbeat! - The house was absolutely amazing and our host was so friendly and accommodating. The location was 1 minute from the strip and right around the corner from our favourite ice cream shop. The kitchen was very well stocked and made cooking family dinners easy. Overall a beautiful property. I would suggest bringing some fans as a few nights sleep was challenging due to hot weather but that is common during peak season.

• Kim (10/5): Amazing house and service - We could not have been more pleased with our stay here at Urban Beach. The service of Rafael and his family has been extraordinary, the house is amazing and so is the location. You have the beach just a couple of minutes away and if you're unsure of where to go, the owners are always glad to give you tips. This was our first family vacation and everything was beyond perfect. We would like to give a huge thanks to everyone involved and if possible we would love to come back. • Paul (8/5): Lovely apartment near the beach - Great apartment, very spacious for 2 people and it has everything you need, including a washing machine. Only a block from the beach with your own parking spot. Only negative is that the WiFi is limited, however a great place to stay
