- Marcel (9/5): - Great bed! Nice breakfast More whole wheat bread would have been nice. For a diabetic the bread and bagels were too high in carbs.
- Amanda (10/5): -
- A (8/5): - The person ( Man ) was very kind and gave me my check in a few hours early and gave the best possible room
- Marcelo Euclides (10/5): -

- Linda (10/5): The staff is excellent. - The staff: Tajai, Noquesi, Dejay, John, Lauren and Tia were super helpful, genial. They made us feel like we were VIPs. They were attentive to every need and requested.
Our compliments go out to the manager. He obviously values the staff and credits them for the friendly and helpful atmosphere at this hotel. Thank you for the hotel history. The whimsical Alice Through the Looking Glass was delightful but not overdone.
Thank you for a wonderful stay in Philadelphia.
- Jaimee (8/5): Perfect stay for mummer’s parade. - The location and price were great. We came for the mummers parade on Jan 1st and it was an easy walk. Great, free breakfast in the morning. The room layout with the 2 queen beds is weird. One bed is really close to the wall with the tv and then there’s a little area with a desk. It’s an old building they converted so I guess they did the best they could.
- Julian (9/5): -
- sinead (10/5): -
- Matthew (8/5): Pleasant and comfortable. - The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The bathroom especially was fairly luxurious with a very nice shower. Location was great, only a few blocks to the plaza. Rooms were a bit on the smaller side but not so much that it was annoying.
- Nina (10/5): - Very good location and clean rooms.
- RuiQi (8/5): -
- Mesut Can (8/5): - Good location, nice staff
- Charisma (10/5): -
- Charlene (10/5): -
- Clara (8/5): -
- Adil (10/5): - Location, price, great breakfast. Nothing.
- TIFFANY (6/5): Find another accommodation if possible - Location is nice to most things and central convenience. The staff is wonderful! Beyond kind and helpful! All of them are amazing. What the other reviewers say is true.. I ignored when I booked like a fool. The rooms are beyond small. If it states double occupancy believe me when I say you will not be able to move. The beds are also small.. for whatever reason it says king but upon measuring it’s not standard king. Closer to queen. You CANNOT adjust the heat. Froze the entire stay. The set up of the space is awful. Internet / WIFI is POOR. The tv couldn’t even play without buffering. Breakfast was cold and very very underwhelming
- Amanda (8/5): - Great location with a quirky design. The breakfast was only so so. Not dairy free options but that was difficult in Philly everywhere
- Vaglica (10/5): -
- Gallerani (7/5): Gelungen.
- Ekaterina (3/5): - I liked the design wallpaper, it looked nice When checking in I told the receptionist that I paid in full through Booking but she still charged my card second time, had to call the manager to set it straight. No sound isolation leads to the situation that you wake up if there are people walking down the corridor when you are asleep. Neighborhood is very specific, with people sleeping in the street everywhere. For breakfast it was very distinct that all the cutlery and plates are one-time use, paper for the plates and plastic for the cutlery, one-time use paper cups for tea. The price is not reflective of these conditions.
- Haralson (10/5): -
- Jack (5/5): -
- Leo (8/5): OK -
- Lisa (10/5): I would stay here again. - It was comforting, good location, excellent customer service. I didn’t care for the breakfast.
- Flavio (8/5): -
- Linda (7/5): The room was a disappointment. We stayed six days. It was very tight. Bad street noise at night. - The breakfast was good. The bathroom was nicely updated. The staff was very friendly. The room was super small. Room # 510. There were no drawers to put clothes in. The only desk had a large TV on it and it was on one side as of the bed. There was only one foot of space between that desk and the bed. It was not a good arrangement. There was no chair to sit in. We brought fold up chairs for the parade and had to use them in the room.
The TV should have been hung above where it was sitting. There should have been a bench at the foot of the bed since there was no place for chairs. I cannot figure out why the designers did not think of that.
- Daniel (10/5): - Kind of pricey for a basic room, but it was a festival weekend. Clean, modern room. Odd lighting. No outlets on one side of the king sized bed, so two CPAP users like us had problems. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.
- Stacy (5/5): I would return for the wonderful location, and nicely decorated, comfortable (yet small) room. - Room was clean enough. (Windows dirty...all else was very good). The location was perfect for us. I loved that they had bottled water out at the front desk and allowed you to grab one as you went by. Breakfast was terrible. Lightbulb out in shower until I mentioned it. Then immediately changed. The AC was not working well. Our room was pretty hot. They attempted to fix it and came up right away to try; yet it was never fixed.
- Niala (10/5): - clean room.
- Tom (8/5): - Woke up one morning with no hot water. Lots of drunk people yelling at 2am outside the hotel.
- Deidira (5/5): I enjoyed the FIA - Would not stay again It’s to isolated
- Joseph (10/5): - Comfortable bed and great shower. We're both pleased!
- madison (4/5): - Our ac did not work, so our room was hot during the day and overnight. We set it low before leaving in the evening and returned to it at 73. Staff said there was nothing they could do. Didn’t sleep well in the heat.
- Michael (4/5): - This is an in city property. Only parking is $70 per day! Our room was Tiny and has no in room safe. King size bed fills the room. Only 1 chair, tiny little table. Includes breakfast but the sausage is sorry. Best thing is its walkable to lots of dining and entertainment. 30 minute walk to the liberty bell. Great Irish pubs just 3 or 4 blocks away.
- Michael (8/5): - Stayed for two nights. Great location to walk to all of the local sites.
- daarina (6/5): - The actual room itself was extremely small going into the room I had to slide past the bed because the television was protruding from the wall I guess it had like a a border on it was a flat screen but the border if the room was extremely tight at the end of the hallway sometimes my key wouldn't work I was also charged $203 for my first night I didn't understand I reached out to the hotel they told me to reach out to you all can somebody explain this to me
- Roxanne (2/5): - Very dated and would benefit from an upgrade which will add to the great location. Linens, bedding and towels need to be replaced as they are seriously worn work towels shearing and visible lumps in the lining of the comforter. We had to switch from our room because there was alot of human hair on the bed when we pulled back the sheet to rest. Doubt we'd be staying there again
- Genesis (10/5): - Staff was super nice and helpful. Accommodated my need for early check in. Clean, classic rooms. It was great.
- Lee (8/5): It was great except for the hot water problem. Next time we'll stay at Alexander Inn or Holiday Inn - Central location for nightlife, bars, restaurants. No hot running water in room. Didn't realize this until we wanted to take showers in morning. We were only there for one night. We reported it to front desk and they gave us points to our membership. Would have rather had our showers!
- Brian (8/5): - Clean and comfortable stay. The rooms have recently been upgraded and it shows. Excellent complimentary breakfast and the staff were all welcoming and friendly. Would return.
- Lee (10/5): - Great stay! The hospitality from the front desk was amazing. Free Breakfast was soo delicious. The King size bed was comfortable. They even had Netflix set up in the room (need your own account). Long story short I will definitely be back!
- Dana (10/5): - Ideal location on a quiet street!
- Herschel (10/5): - A plus
- martin (10/5): - Breakfast was very good. I wish the hours were longer (6:30-9:00 M-F, 6:30-9:30 Sa-Su)
- Anitra (10/5): - Friendly
- Carolyn (10/5): - Great stay
- Alice (6/5): - Our room was right off elevator. Way too much noise throughout the night
- Joseph (6/5): Nice people not so nice hotel - Took 40 minutes for valet to get my car . Bad reflection on hotel.
- Barbara (10/5): - Clean. Everyone was kind & professional
- roberto (8/5): - Place was average, but the people are amazing , makes the place look much better than what it is.
I would stay here again. Bed is comfortable and room is decent , again, the staff is amazing
- Phillip (10/5): - Great location and customer service
- Peter (8/5): Overall great stay - Had to move room after one day as some of the lights were not working. But once moved had no issues. Small rooms but to be expected for city centre hotel. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.
- Zachary (10/5): - Staff was amazing. Rooms on the smaller side, but extremely clean and updated.
- Jesus (10/5): Awesome stay - The staff was great. Very courteous and attentive. They made the stay much much much better
- Lauren (10/5): - Great stay. Staff were wonderful!
- Joshua (10/5): - Great customer service and great location
- abraham (10/5): - Very good and thanks…
- Mariana (10/5): - Nice property in downtown at an affordable price, plus breakfast. The only complaint I have is the water - pressure was low and we had to call a couple of times because the water wasn’t heating up.
- Colin (8/5): - Parking can
- Mark (10/5): Excellent value - Very clean. Nice room design. Bathroom well designed and nice tile.
- Shantilly (10/5): - Loved how everything was within a mile of the hotel walkable beautiful scenery
- Allison (10/5): - Valet parking was a little over priced, got charged for 2 days even though my car was only valet parked for 16 hours. But other than that a great stay. Hotel staff was great, especially front desk, and the staff in the lobby restaurant.
- Pedro (10/5): - I highly recommend this property
- BARLIN (8/5): - It was very good overall.
However, While I enjoyed my stay, the appearance of both the room and bathroom didn't justify the high price.
- Alexander (10/5): - Very friendly and caring staff
- Glenda (10/5): - Very accommodating staff. Nice people. Walkable distance from everything in the city center.
- Janice (10/5): - We had a great stay! The hotel is very cute and has a great boutique decor throughout. The staff was consistently polite, professional, and friendly. We easily walked to breakfast, dinner, and shopping areas.
The restaurant on site should be skipped considering the significantly better options within a few blocks. The menu looks great, but the execution misses over and over.
I would definitely stay here the next time we're in town.
- Krishna (8/5): - The location was convenient for accessing spots. And the amenities were soild
- David (10/5): A good nights stay - It was good a stay there. My friend and I only stayed for one night. That night was good. There was an issue with there being no hot water. However, after calling the front desk it was resolved very quickly. The complementary breakfast was good as well. I wish i could've tried the waffles. The eggs and sausage was pretty good though. As well as the oatmeal. I world definitely consider staying again for a longer vacation.
- Charles (8/5): - Great rooms with modern finishes. Hotel centrally located near Rittenhouse Square very nice. Restaurant and lobby service staff extremely accommodating. A great stay overall.
- Gerard (8/5): - The hotel is conveniently located to many sites. Philadelphia is very walkable. The neighborhood is safe and clean. The lobby is drab and in need of an update. Some of the front desk staff seemed very uninterested in their job.
- Alicia (8/5): - La decoración y la comodidad de las camas Que en la ducha hubiera cortina en vez de mampara. El ruido del aire acondicionado
- Marie OHara (10/5): - My husband was a patient at Penn. It was an extremely difficult time for us. Whenever I was informed that he needed to stay an additional day, the staff graciously accommodated me. For that, I will always be grateful. I didn't have to switch rooms; they allowed me to stay in the original room that I had booked. Thank you again for making a difficult time more manageable.
- Natasha Renee (10/5): - The staff were very polite and welcoming. The breakfast selection was great. It’s conveniently located so we were able to walk around the area and return to the hotel with ease.
- Dawn (8/5): - The staff were amazing. The front desk extremely helpful and very nice.the room was clean
- Steven David (6/5): - Alarm went off all night and there was no communication or support.
