Emma (8/5): - We had a short stay here of 4 nights after island hoping. On arrival this hotel tucked away off a very busy, hustle bustle road. So very convenient for shops, food, massage ...infact everything! The hotel is lovely, we was greeted and made to feel instantly welcome from the friendly staff. We had a pool access room and it was lovely. Very quiet , calm and relaxing. Beds very comfy,there was a fridge with water. The breakfast was great, plenty of options for all nationalities. They cook fresh omelette and eggs for you. My husband managed to rustle up a rough version of a english breakfast, while i was happy to have have toast , cereal and croissant. We found the whole experience in this hotel lovely. They have a beautiful resident cat in the reception too, and the staff love their cat , which was heart warming to see. This hotel couldnt be anymore central, but once you walk off the busy street into the hotel area , its very calm and quiet. And a big plus its flat , no big hills to climb. Which im glad i did my research as some hotels in this area , are up extremely STEEP HILLS...this one isnt .... Highly recommended
Adnan (10/5): Great hotel - A great looking hotel with nice pools. The staff were lovely, our room had a comfortable bed and was really clean. Kata Walking Street Market and Kata Night Market are a few minutes away along with lots of other shops so you have access to everything you need. Kata Beach and Karon Beach are both 10 minutes walk away so you can take your pick.
emmasS5672NB (6/5): Very nice hotel....but in a very busy area. - I have a mixed review for this hotel.. The hotel it's self is very nice, it has a huge pool and pool access rooms( which we had and it was very nice) it was very quiet and chilled. Our room was very spacious too. The bed was huge and very comfortable. All the hotel staff was more than helpful and very welcoming. A really happy friendly front of house team we found. Nothing was to much trouble. The hotel is situated off a very busy street, and once you are in the hotel you would believe how hustle and bustle it was outside. Its very central to everything and about a 15min walk to the beach , on the way you pass many shops , bars , restaurants, markets , food sellers, massage parlours. Its eye opening as there is so much to take in..we found it was nicer to stroll down in the morning , less busy and calmer. If you want to be in the thick of it all then this hotel ticks all the boxes. What I wasn't so keen on was the smells , our room seemed to hold a drainage smell , and the pool towels , even when replaced and clean never smelt clean they also had a horrible smell to them? Walking down the street , you was met with fish stalls , food stalls , fruit stalls ect so mix this with hot humid heat ! I wasn't a fan . During our trip we stayed in several different hotels , in different areas of phuket rawai, au nang krabi ,kata , karon , and this is the only hotel and area i found to smell. Our daughter stayed 10 mins away in the sugar fashion apartments and it was fine there , so I think its just the location of this hotel is in a very busy spot. Thats all I wasn't so keen about and it didnt bother my husband at all. The hotel had a decent breakfast too. Yes it did cater more for the Thai and Chinese guests, but it also had omelette being freshly made, fried or scrambled eggs, streaky bacon, sometimes baked beans, cereals, toast, croissants, waffles, we really found it catered well. And we was in Thailand, we do not expect full on English breakfasts! So would i stay here again? Probably, but would maybe prefer to be further down the round nearer to the beach where the air was fresher..
Adrian (10/5): - Great hotel. Breakfast was good and better than most places we have been to in phuket. The pool area is quiet during the day, but busier at night. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, great value for the price.
Anil (8/5): - Its a neat and clean property and well laid out. Staff are very good .. from reception to HK n at restaurants. Only downside I found was use of Massage facility - they did not offer d private room to begin with and were in a hurry to start. When I insisted on a seperate room, they realised the AC was not working there. They also did not offer the use of d Sauna before or after the massage. A third party therapist, most probably, came and expected me to try switching on the AC. Only my daughter ended up using the facility and even she was not happy with the experience. The other small flaw, was the restaurant staff did not allow a take away breakfast. When I spoke to d reception, they said we have to inform 1 day before.. strange.. as most hotels around d world, let u load ur bfast in boxes n also give u a take away coffee cup. Else the quality of food in restaurant n also room service was good. The Pool n d decor around reception area were the highlights. Good value for money.. if u dont mind some fellow tourist shouting around d pool in some strange language :)
Jacqueline (8/5): - I liked the room facilities, very clean and spacious room. The price was amazing value for the high standard of the hotel. The only thing that frustrated me was the reception staff did not speak english and had to keep referring my query to one person on staff. Loved the pool and outdoor area and the breakfast, which was included in our package, was varied and yummy every day. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was central to the beaches and not far from other towns. I would stay here again.
catiabebianalimad (4/5): Horrible. This is a 2 star hotel - If I could give -1 to this hotel..where do I start. Breakfast options very POOR, they serve only Thai fopd considering it's a touristy destination they should improve the breakfast for international guests and not only thai food. For 6 days straight I had the same breakfast. Found stains on my first day and immediatly told reception to change, which they did but how can they give a room without checking if it's clean?? Plus the cleaning ladies didn't clean the room properly they only fold the sheets that's all. The shower had with a weird smell... Very noisy, I was unable to sleep for 3 consecutive days, reported to reception and the staff didn't even bother to sort it out and finding out where is the noise coming from. Staff didn't even speal english when I was teying to explaim the noise. I WOULD NOT reccomend this scam hotel.

Annemarie (10/5): - Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit im Aurico, die Lage etwas außerhalb vom Trubel war sehr gut, da es nicht so laut war. In 5 Minuten war man jedoch auf den belebten Straßen. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen, es gab sehr viel Auswahl! Das Zimmer mit Poolzugang war ein Traum. Ja, vielleicht hat hier und da etwas Ablage im Bad gefehlt, aber die zwei Schritte um ins Schlafzimmer zu gehen, wo viel Platz war, ist zuzumuten. Wir sind gern nach unseren Ausflügen wieder gekommen und würden es auch zukünftig tun. Danke an das stets bemühte Team.
Florian Rafael (6/5): - Erstes Zimmer musste gewechselt werden aufgrund von Ameisen Lärm durch Verbindungstür. Zimmerwechsel kein Problem. Kleiderschrank etwas klein, dafür aber sehr großes Zimmer. Reinigung des Bades lässt zu wünschen übrig. Armaturen sowie Dusche voll mit Kalk Seifenreste. Scheibe zwischen Bad und Zimmer noch dreckig von anderen Gästen (Handabdrücke). Schlauch der Dusche war undicht. Klimaanlage war auf niedrigster Stufe so laut, dass man nachts nicht schlafen konnte. Balkontüren sehr dünn, dadurch sehr hellhörig. Zimmertür ebenso sehr hellhörig. Frühstück wird schon um halb 11 abgeräumt obwohl es bis 11 geht. WLAN war zwar da, aber im Zimmer Verbindungsabbrüche, jedoch auf der Hotelanlage einwandfrei. Schmutzwäsche-Wagen wurde immer Nachts gegen 12 Uhr vom Personal lautstark über den Gang gefahren. Handtücher waren teilweise defekt. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Schöner Pool sowie Poolbar. Fitnessraum vorhanden, aber nicht mehr. Gäste überwiegend Ostblock(Russland etc.) Rollervermietung direkt auf dem Parkplatz vom Hotel sehr freundlich und zu empfehlen.

Roland (8/5): Oase der Ruhe - Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral zwischen Kata und Karon. Die Anlage bietet Ruhe von der sonst sehr hektischen Umgebung. Das Frühstücksbüffet war umfangreich und die angebotenen Speisen frisch und lecker. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Die Pooltemperatur war exrem erfrischend, wenn man kaltes Wasser mag :-)
Nicola (10/5): Excellent and relaxing - We booked this hotel to spend time relaxing after a hectic 2 weeks travelling in Vietnam and Cambodia. The hotel did not fail to impress us and ensured we had an amazing 5 days here. The staff throughout the hotel were welcoming, friendly and always keen to help. We chose a swim-up room which allowed us to swim from our room straight to the pool bar! Our room had everything we needed including complimentary bottled water every day. The breakfast was excellent each day, loads of variety and seemed to cater well of all tastes and expectations. The pool area was well maintained and there was never an issue with getting a sun bed at any time of the day. The hotel is 10 minutes walk from Kata Beach and there are loads of bars and restaurants all close to the hotel. This holiday was exactly as we had hoped and would highly recommend the hotel.

kristobelr (4/5): Second visit - Second visit and can say it's gone downhill. Breakfast ok but meat and cheeses now limited which is a shame. Omelettes are great though and there is always something you can eat. We also noticed attention to detail isn't great. Paint those walls that are tired looking. Biggest annoyance is coming from a day at the beach to a note telling you pool/beach towels missing and you're gonna be fined. at least wait till checkout to accuse you of stealing. Absolutely fuming about it. Don't provide if you're going to complain to guests who still have a week to go. Second visit will be our last which is a shame as when we came 2 years ago the place was amazing.

aleks (10/5): - We just came back from our holiday having spent 12 nights in this hotel. Hotel is located 500 metres away from Kata beach which is very much walkable however the hotel provides free shuttle bus twice a day. Location is very much in the centre of busy and crowded Kata town but as soon as you turn into the hotel grounds it feels tranquil and peaceful. Room was very spacious, breakfast excellent; there is something for everyone. There is a gym, kids playroom and spa in the hotel. Swimming pool area is very nice, clean with plenty of sun lounges available and with very few guests being around. Pool bar serves food and drinks with happy hour 17.00 - 19.00. The only negative for me ( but it is a personal preference) the water in the pool is really cold. For me the best part of this hotel is its staff: without them and their hard work none of the above would be possible. Yes, some may say that their English is not good enough but they are doing their best to please everyone. And everything is done with Thai warmth and smile. Remember, Thailand is their country so showing them respect and appreciation for what they do is all what they all need. There are so many positives about this hotel that little mistakes should be forgotten. Well done Aurico team, keep smiling :-)

191kayleez (8/5): Relaxing experience - I stayed here for 5 nights during a solo trip. The location is great, it located in a side street of the ''Main shopping street'' of Kata with massage parlours around, 7/11's, many restaurants, bars and also at approximately 15 minutes walking distance from Kata beach and 15 minutes from Karon. I found the reception staff kind, however when it comes to being involved with customer service, doing the standard minimum, which was fine for me. There is one boy named Max, I think he is a porter and most likely at the front entrance, assists with your luggage and takes you to your room - who definitely deserves a shout out! During my visit I also participated in a cooking class at the hotel's restaurant, which was fun and because no one else signed up, private :). You can use the sauna as well free of charge, along with the fitness room which is small but has everything you need. Housekeeping staff was very attentive and took excellent care of me. (always leave a small tip on the bed for them!) The bed is super comfortable and big! The pool is beautiful with a pool bar, but it was a bit boring, not much of a vibe going on, so I did not spend too much time there. Breakfast was also really enjoyable, plenty of options available. I enjoyed my stay, it was very relaxing!

957vinceg (8/5): Clean, comfortable and relaxing - A very clean and comfortable place to stay. Definitely recommend this hotel as an option for families when you’re in Kata or Karon. We stayed for 9 nights but it seemed most of the other guests were 1 or 2 nights, so the lobby was pretty busy at check in & out times. In the 10 days, we were the only Aussies with pretty much most other guests from China. Despite the hotel being fully booked, there were no more than about 12 people in and around the pool at any time, so getting a lounge by the pools was never a problem. It was really relaxing and enjoyable which is exactly what we were needing on our holiday. Only 1 block away from Kata night market makes this place really close to everything, yet it’s so quiet both at night as well as during the day. We had interconnecting rooms which suited our family of 5 really well and I’d happily stay here again without any concerns. Some feedback for the hotel would be that the housekeeping staff could be a little more attentive to servicing the rooms and that the pool bar be constantly staffed during opening hours rather than the staff congregating and talking with each other in the lobby when people are looking for service at the pool bar.

618maxinem (2/5): Don’t do it - Avoid at all costs spiders webs filthy unpleasant staff do not cater for vegans manager Arron did try to help but the staff just didn’t bother we stayed one night then jumped in a taxi couldn’t get away quickly enough. Arron told us we could have a full refund just waiting for it back. Can’t smoke on balcony or near the pool. Enclosed so not much sun we changed our room twice but no better. This hotel should be zero star and needs a whole new staff team who actually want to be there instead of making guests feel like an intruder to their day. Please believe the reviews having been to many hotels in Thailand this is the worst.
janetcF3603JP (2/5): Worst stay ever! - The housekeeping is so bad as there are still dust everywhere and they do not replace items such as toilet paper, had to ask for it. Also, after staying one night, got charged for stained bedsheets and got told to take it the laundry to do it myself, which is madness for a hotel. All housekeeping does is look for stains so to write people up to get money from them. The front desk were not helpful at all and just ignored anything I said and blamed my wet clothes....why would I go to bed in wet clothes? Also, they will constantly harrass you for the payment, despite still being at the hotel, it is not like I can runaway. Just be cautious when booking this hotel as they are not helpful at all and take pictures as evidence or they will harass you non-stop.

Harriet (8/5): Good value for money - Stayed here in January 2024 - asked for a more private room so stayed on the right hand side as you walk over the bridge in a swim up room, and we did have privacy. Pool was never ‘full’ - had hardly anyone in there! I’d say there was a few issues with cleanliness and overall wear and tear of the property that let it down. On our swim up room, on the left hand side outside there is a small area of plants/ bushes etc. On the first night we stayed my partner spotted a mouse/ rat in one of the bushes which was leaving droppings on our outdoor space the length of our stay. During our stay the outdoor space was never cleaned by the cleaners so the droppings remained there. Also, the chair in the room had been damaged, and there was some general wear and tear in the bathroom that could have easily been corrected/ sorted. On one final note, it sounded like people in the other rooms (above and to the side) - all they did was drag their chairs around their room??? There was a terrible noise throughout the day of chairs being dragged around - morning, noon and night. Very strange!
jaynewN9303JC (10/5): Superb haven near Kata beach - We are currently still at the Aurico Kata resort & Spa and so thought I'd write my review whilst enjoying the private balcony & great pool music. (I asked them if they could play some more modern contemporary music - rather than rock & I'm pleased to say they obliged!!) The hotel facilities are spot on, as previous reviews have mentioned. The breakfast is excellent with a diverse array of foods. In the heat it takes a good 15 minutes to walk to Kata Beach. It's a pleasant route past the various restaurants, massage parlours & the brilliant 7/Eleven 😃 This particular end of the beach nearest to the hotel has little fish in the shallows & also the jelly fish (non poisonous) tend to drift along to here. Very pleasant for swimming with few waves. There is a shuttle bus from the hotel - but seems it takes you to the other end of Kata beach; which had quite high waves & banana boat rides etc directly in front of our hired chairs & parasol (so not so ideal!!) The hotel has wonderful friendly staff who make you feel very much at home & welcomed back when you return hot & bothered from exploring Phuket. Despite smoking supposedly being banned in Thailand, unfortunately the hotel does allow smoking on the premises. Great shame for us - particularly as it was happening in a designated spot right in front of our balcony. I am a keen swimmer so the only downside for me was that despite the pool being large it wasn't very deep. The deepest part is 1.2 metres....so designed with young families in mind. It also had a huge inset circle which you had to negotiate around & could easily stub your toe on. Nevertheless the hotel is a perfect haven and a wonderful location to retreat to.

Clean rooms and hotel with nice reception area, play room for children and a little seating outdoor area in the shade! Non smoking on the balcony ! Breakfast was one of the bests I had with an egg station, noddle soup station, coffee, bacon, pancakes, toast…. Location is great as not in the craziness of Kata Beach but just before in a street with restaurant (red corner was the best) laundry, massage….

Keyon (10/5): Felt welcomed - I enjoyed my stay, check in was smooth and simple. The aesthetics were nice, even did a photoshoot. Breakfast was excellent especially with the omelette station and fresh pancakes. I would of preferred more fruits selection than watermelon, cantaloupe, pineapple. I wish they would of had their homeland fruits like mangosteen, dragon fruit..etc The bed was comfy, I had the swim up pool entry room I was in the pool everyday! Outside the hotel you weren’t far from market, restaurants, bars.
Michelle (10/5): - We had a swim out room beside our friend’s room and it was perfect! This property is gorgeous and they clearly take pride in providing the best guest experience. The property is immaculate, the staff are super kind and always greet you with a smile. The breakfast buffet has something for everyone and the location of the hotel was perfect. We liked that it was walking distance to Kata and Karon beaches, close to street markets, restaurants, and the Makro grocery store where we bought our wine and a few items. We stayed at 5 properties during our time in Thailand and this was definitely a favourite.
Verified traveler (10/5): Very Comfortable stay - We had a very comfortable stay in a lovely room overlooking the pool. The bed was massive and extremely comfortable. Only 6 coat hangers in the wardrobe but plaid drawer space. Breakfast was just ok becoming very repetitive over 15 days. Not as much choice as other hotels we have stayed in Thailand but managed to eat something every day. The pool is large but very cold as it is shaded by the buildings most of the day but the hotel is only 10 min walk to nearest beach and there is also a free shuttle to kata a few times a day. No shuttle at night. We would stay again if in Kata
Sugako (8/5): - This was our 2nd stay at Aurico. The location is in a great area, two beaches are accessible by walking and there is a nice cafe and are some decent restaurants around. Great cost performance hotel. However, wifi wasn’t good. Also the cleaning could be improved. If you like a simple place with basics and a nice pool then this is the place for you.

Jeremie (10/5): Great stay between Kata and Karon. - We stayed 3 nights at the hotel for our honeymoom and found the hotel very well designed, a great swimming pool and the room to be very comfortable. The staff service at reception was very good too. About what could be improved: - We found the breakfast to be expensive with too few vegetarian/vegan options. Thus, we only took it once. - It would be great if the spa could be opened later in the day to enjoy it after an acyive day visiting the area. We unfortunately did not have time to try it. - Different type of pillows would be good as it was the case in other hotels we stayed in, as they don't suit everyone. Very good stay overall and we would definitely come back. Many thanks.

Thanks to Ball at the bar we found an amazing restaurant and he made amazing cocktails at the pool bar for us. He always had a smile on his face. The hotel price was very good for what we received. I hope they keep doing such good prices so i can go again next year. I recomened paying the extra for the breakfast included option. We paid for brekkie a few times and it was lovely. The pool access room is our favourite. I loved the cleaners. They were so lovely and very happy to come back later. I tipped them every day about 40 bahht a day. We also used the spa for a coffee scrub massage and sunburn after sun massage. The hotel is in a great location between 2 beeches. Its not a night club area. And that suited us fine. Used the grab app for taxi. Kinda like uber. Hired a driver for a few hours to do trips. Also used the expedia app for local trips and we had amaxing days out thanks to that.

The swimming pool was amazing and you could enter the pool by your balcony if you had the room on the bottom floor.
