Important Information

Le Meridien Club Lounge at Level 29 will be closed from 29th April - 5th May for maintenance purposes. Alternative locations will be arranged for guests with Club Lounge Benefits.

- ctnurazwan (8/5): A great place to celebrate birthday night! - Easy check in process, room are comfortable, definitely love the tub, got high room as requested and helpful staff. The breakfast have quite variety. Owh, the welcoming drink is nice btw. And thank you for the complimentary birthday brownie too. The hotel parking is shared with mall parking. Quite a challange to find parking nearby the hotel lif as the entrance slightly hidden.

The room looks new and I love the bathroom lighting and the smell of all the shampoo, soap and conditioner.I was also allowed to a late checkout. Thank you. The pillow is way too soft. Not good for neck posture. You MUST learn from the Marriott hotel. They have fantastic pillows.

- Daydream42303361475 (10/5): A good service oriental chef that give us a dinner experience to remember!! - A 5 out of 5 evening cocktail at the executive lounge of the hotel. We are given extra special treatment from Chef Asri for our iftar (breaking fast) for my family of 9 pax. The whole set-up made us feel 'special' and truly valued as patron of Marriot programme. Kudos to Chef Asri for giving us top notch service and is a truly ambassador to the Marriott chain of hotels.
- 423shaz (6/5): Front desk manager Khai Loon tarnish the good experience we had with the hotel - Shout out for staff at the executive lounge Puspa and Umar who always efficient in ensure our multiple stays are both pleasant and fulfilling.l for this trip and the past ones. I would have rate them full stars if not for the incident with the front desk manager Khai Loon who totally tarnish all our happy past experiences with the hotel. Definitely felt like Khai personally feel that guest like us don’t deserve to be in the executive lounge based on our appearance and racial profile and not because how much we patronise the hotel to gain our Platinum Elite status. For the first time, I felt that so belittled and humiliated by his actions. To make matters worse, we are celebrating our weddings anniversary together with friends that we invited to the hotel. When I pointed out to him, I could see that he is unapologetic and remorse of his actions. I just don’t condone to such behaviour especially with his position as a manager at the front desk! Luckily the chef Asri stepped in and did some damage control to save the night.

- 139karolinaa (10/5): Friedly place - A lovely place with wonderful people. We spent a week at the hotel in a very comfortable room. Everything was of a high standard and completely professional, thanks to Ahmad and Karuna. Club lounge with a large selection of dishes and drinks. I was surprised by the ice cream served during cocktail hours. Dishes served by the wonderful chefs Zin and Naz. Thank you to the entire club lounge team Pushpa,Bipana, Raksha,Barsha,Roshane,Umar and Naisha for your company, for your smile and professionalism every day. It's great to have such a great team at Le Meridien Petaling Jaya.

My Room Electricity out of service suddenly during 5-6pm while we stepped in on 6th of Mar,Friday evening.Asking for the PIC (Staff name start with R*****) for this specific issue,but answering with bad English level and no solving problems skills at all. Unprofessional hotel service crews, not well training and not deserve for a 5 stars standard hotel service!!! Facilities is not reachable where there’s no a single trash bin neither the hotel lobby area or the main entrance of the lift room!!!! Staffs never greet when seeing the guests in and out in hotel!!!!

- Solodrinker (8/5): Amazing view - Came here for dinner at their rooftop bar after a few friends recommended it. The view is amazing and the rooftop atmosphere is great. The place was quite busy, but we were lucky to get an outdoor table with a fantastic view. The staff were attentive and friendly. Love their wagyu ribeye! Food was a bit delayed, but understandable as the restaurant was very busy with several large tables dining and limited wait staff. You can see that the team was trying their best to attend to all guests. Will definitely come back (probably on a weekday next time).
- Teck Huat Andre (8/5): Nice location - Location is quite central, easy to get Grab, and there is a large mall next to the hotel. Hotel breakfast had a wide range of options though it got a bit crowded and difficult to move around. Staff were very friendly. Room was clean and well maintained, and quite well soundproofed - I did not hear much noise from surrounding rooms or the corridor. Had some hiccups with communication - I requested for 3 beds in the room during booking, but during check in the reception staff looked surprised when I asked if the room had 3 beds set up already, and said that he would call housekeeping to arrange it, then when we got to the room there were already 3 beds set up, and still the housekeeping staff turned up with an extra bed later. Seems like the hotel needs to coordinate better. Also, though there were 3 beds, we were only given 2 sets of towels and drinking water, housekeeping staff needs to pay more attention to detail..

- Colinongkb (8/5): Good Experience Here - Overall this hotel met a good standard. A special mention to the band at the rooftop restaurant - The Scully Trio. They are very good and interact well making guests feel so happy. It's unfortunate that they won't be playing here any longer.

- RoyGerstner (10/5): Best place in PJ - We have come every year for the last 6 years, we stay on average 4 to 5 weeks split into two parts. Being mobility challenged, I am 'always' very well looked after. My wife and I enjoy the friendly attentive staff. Club Lounge is a nice place to chill in the evening. Not forgetting the wonderful infinity pool .... Thank you to Mr Hew and all the staff.

- Chris (3/5): This hotel did not qualify for 5 stars. - 1) Other than the warm walkway which was not air-conditioned, the water pressure in the room is too low and the toiletries given are basic like toothpaste/toothbrush only, the 2 rooms we have are clean and beds are comfortable. 2) beef was stale and hard for breakfast. Nasi lemak is bad and the chef should try out what is good Malaysia nasi lemak especially the chilli which is too hot and not sweet. Cheap cakes and bakery provided. In short, food quality is bad. 1) no aircon in the walkway to the rooms; 2) poor quality breakfast; 3) lift required maintenance.

Special thanks to Mr. Huzaifah, the Assistant Outlet Manager on duty that night, who took great care of us. He made sure our orders were correct and checked in on us to ensure everything was okay. He also suggested we head up to the top floor, where we enjoyed a stunning 360° view of the KL and PJ skyline. The hospitality from him and the team was top-notch and really made the night special. He even shared about the Christmas buffet and durian buffet — super tempting! Overall, a great experience with excellent service.

The service was superb, and the staff were extremely helpful, attentive, and welcoming throughout the evening. I would especially like to put on record the kindness and professionalism of Cik Nazurah, who went above and beyond to ensure that we were well taken care of. Her warm attitude, attentiveness, and willingness to assist made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I truly appreciate the outstanding service provided by the team at Le Méridien PJ. I would highly recommend this restaurant for both casual dining and special occasions.
- Mackean (6/5): Expected more from the Le Meridien brand - I was on a 3 days personal trip to KL. Decided to book this hotel at Petaling Jaya. Given that the Le Meridien brand and also staying at another Le Merdien in KL before, there is some difference between them Location : Ideal ! As its next to a mall , it is easy to get food or anything required .However, there is no Metro station around, the only transportation will be on Grab/ Taxi . In addition, the hotel is also near to Subang Airport, I depart from Subang Airport( to Singapore ), which is only take me 20 mins to reach the airport as compare to KLIA Decor of hotel /room: Decor of the hotel is modern especially on the 2nd level lobby,very spacious. Gotten an executive room ,which is in level 27 , which is good and clean. It was also serve with all basic necessities. The only feedback that I have would be the room lighting is a bit dim . Also the bath tub is a waste of space Serivce : This is the area of improvement 1) I have provide my credit card and make a deposit . I have ordered some room service , but I was ask to pay directly via credit card or cash . However, when i do my laundry , I can pay during check out . Howcome there is a difference of practice between the room service and the laundry service ? 2) The not so cozy layout of the breakfast restaurant. Also the quality of the food can be improved. Value From the price point its competitve given the location I have ranked this a 3 star as i am comparing with another Le Meridien at KL Sentra .As such, I am expecting more from the Le Meridien Brand

There is a lot of seafood choices and the spread was good even though the space is cozy but the service is really well maintained and the stock was really nice.

I would like to mention Umar and Shirley who has been not only great at their service in terms of support and quick in meeting my request, they consistently perform at that level everytime I visit Le Meridien PJ. I suppose there is nothing that can be done on the structural lighting. - The buffet breakfast spread was fantastic.....nothing fanciful, but meaningful in the wide spread. Service was excellent, at par with 6-starred hotels that I had stayed. Of special mention are: Maalini, Nazurah, and a chef whose name I forgot to get (he was on duty at the 'egg' station where the half-boiled eggs were, at around 9.45 am. He was wearing a red/maroon outfit. I was helping myself to the Chinese congee, and there was no 'salted' egg. I asked him, as he was the chef nearest, and he explained that it was because it was vegetarian. Nonetheless, he went into the kitchen and got me the 'salted' egg. Excellent, and I forgot to get his name, because I was probably overwhelmed.) The room lighting system is a real screw-up. Upon entering the room, on the right is the door to the washroom, and yet there were no light switches outside this washroom. I hunted high and low, and could not find the switch to turn on/off the light. Then a staff came to show me there was another entrance ('door') to the washroom, and this was by the bedside, and there were switches just outside this entrance. The next one is the reading light. There was one reading light at my bed, and another at the other bed, and yet these two lights were not individually and separately controlled.....i.e., I cannot have my light on, while my partner's bed night is off....both lights will have to be on, or, off.
- Passenger32393146350 (8/5): Buffet Dinner at Pasar Baru Restaurant - Had a wonderful buffet dinner at Pasar Baru Restaurant for 10 of us to celebrate my son's birthday. Seafood was fresh, the varieties was okay. Very friendly and attentive staff, Mr Huzaifah assisting my elder family member also recommended us to roof top for the wonderful view. The special crab dish was surprisingly good. Love how they managed to allocate and every table got a portion of it. The rate of replenishing food also good.
- mee19592014 (8/5): Service Was The Redeeming Factor - The spread for the seafood dinner buffet was varied enough but the quality and freshness of the food items, was below expectations...was disappointed. D24 durians were part and parcel of the buffet package but again, the quality was very average. However, our dinning was made enjoyable as the waiters were attentive and courteous. Credit goes to the Assistant Outlet Manager, Muhammad Huzaifah who was seen moving around the dining area, ensuring that all was well. His teammate, Wardah, was very pleasant too. Gave 4 stars instead of 3 because of the service.

- Small_BuG_123 (10/5): Great stay - I enjoyed my stay at Le Meridien Petaling Jaya, especially the food offerings. Breakfast provided a wide range of choices, and the evening cocktail spread was generous with consistently good dishes. Direct access to the mall made getting around convenient. Every staff member I met was courteous and attentive. The blackout curtains worked well and made the room comfortable for rest. The only drawback was the sound insulation—motorbike noise and occasional door slams were noticeable in the morning. Overall, a pleasant stay with strong service and good dining options.
