• Susannah (10/5): A stunning hotel that you’d be mad to miss! - What a phenomenal place! Absolutely stunning! It’s a gorgeous as it looks in the pictures and the rooms are huge and stunning. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. Staff are lovely. Yes, it’s out of Phnom Penh but this is why we booked it for a few days chilling at the end of our trip and it was perfect! Nothing - loved everything about it.

• Pierre-Louis (7/5): Hotel needs refurbishing - Nice pool with great view on the river Mekong. The room was spacious. The general manger was friendly. The property needs a proper refurbishment, for example the glass door of our room didn’t close properly, water from the bath tube was not working. Baby cot was old and wobbly. Overall the hotel looks old and all materials worn off. It might have been a fancy hotel when they opened but it’s really not the case anymore. Service could be improved a lot: The Hotel organized a birthday dinner for a guest and her large group of friends in front of the swimming pool with full-on lights and huge props and signs ‘love” etc. It didn’t feel right to privatize a public space of the hotel without being informed way in advance. If we would have known we would have had dinner outside of the hotel. Also we had to wait a very long time, more than 30mn to be served at the restaurant because the chef told us they had to prepare in priority for the group of people which were part of the birthday celebration. Food not memorable Very average food unfortunately, and some days we had a buffet as part of the breakfast others we didn’t. No idea why the buffet wasn’t always available. Location. There is nothing to do around the hotel so 1 night is More than enough.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Not 5-star service. Maybe 3 stars. - Architecturally, a pretty hotel with plenty of room. Two complaints: What gives a 5-star hotel five stars, is the service. The young staff, although polite and respectful, were not well trained, (if they were received any training at all). The hotel has only 18 rooms and one restaurant, which was good, but limited in menu. Secondly, the hotel is 30 minutes from the city, and the hotel works with a transportation company that is 30+ minutes away. So, plan in advance. This would be a nice hotel for a wedding party, but not for a tourist or business visit to Phnom Penh.

Great huge pool right along the river, great restaurant and fabulous staff. Nothing, but I suggest a ceiling fan at the outer area/balcony

• Fouad (10/5): The best resort for a relaxing experience - Calm, peaceful and remote. The rooms were extremely comfortable, the bathroom was lovely and the staff were amazing. From the moment you arrive to the property to the time you check-out, the staff ensures you are given the best attention and service. The breakfast was top notch, dinner and lunch at the restaurant were also great with a decent number of menu options. The pool was refreshing and the views of the Mekong river made it all the more special. Would highly recommend this property to anyone on holiday in Phnom Penh. We would definitely love to come back the next time we are in Phnom Penh.

• Ahmed (8/5): Great place for a quiet relaxation and privacy. - Spacious room and extremely quiet. Excellent breakfast and great service staff. AC was a little loud and didn't cool enough. And no roller curtain in the bathroom as the sunlight was coming in to the bathtub. Would have been more comfortable with a curtain on bathroom window. The couch wasn't comfortable for sitting. It was more like for lying down. Would be great if there was a comfortable reading or rocking chair.

We were staying as a bday gift for my partner and could not have asked for more! Staff are incredibly attentive and we had a private dinner in our room courtyard that was personalised. I’d recommend the private dining experience for any occasion. The breakfast in the restaurant was absolutely delicious and so many options to choose! Excellent quality food and beverages all round. We stayed in a courtyard room that was comfortable and well decorated. The amenities were fabulous. We felt very treated, and will definitely be back!

We did order the special dinner for our anniversary. At the time we ordered we did not realize that all the options for this special dinner were normal options on the regular dinner menu. We thought the food was going to be something special that was not on the standard menu. We requested the candlelight dinner on our balcony. There were no decorations or candles set up for the dinner. Not very romantic.

The pool and the rooms are amazing The food is really below expectations for this rate and such a place. I tried pizzas, Khmer food and Asian meals, and it was not good. The breakfast will make you feel full and is probably the best part in food, but still.

• Misam (9/5): an amazing, quiet hotel perfect for a weekend gateway. Professional staff with warm hearts. - Loved our room, comfy bed, nice bath tab. Kids loved the complementary cookie jar and fruits basket. Breakfast was amazing, on top of quick bites(selection of cereals, toast, danish pastry, fruits), we had variety of main dishes to choose from the menu. Lovely staff who ran extra miles for us-with two small children we highly appreciated the flexibility of all the staff to accommodate our request. We needed to leave the table abruptly as our kids started to cry and sleep, the staff swiftly arranged rest of our dinner to our room. It was lovely to finish our scrumptious dinner in our room! Also although it was after 7pm, the reception swiftly responded to our request to organize a trip to nearby silk island! Nothing, we had a great weekend!
