• Cheryl (5/5): Budget room, great location - It was a beautiful beachfront location with dock you can swim/snorkel from. Easy walk to amenities yet far enough away from the bustle to be quiet. Great water pressure too. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our room needed maintenance. Specifically one of the bed frames fell apart and the other had an old uncomfortable mattress. I’m sure at least one bed issue has been resolved.

• Tammy (7/5): Barebones hotel but great beach location - Location was close to everything and right on the ocean. Great beachfront views with comfortable Adirondack chairs and nice dock. Staff was helpful and friendly. Two beds in the room was nice. The hotel itself needs updating and was not very clean (many hairs found in bathroom). The windows would have provided a great view but they were too dirty to see through. No teapot in the room. Very barebones room for the price.
• Katja (8/5): Hat bessere Zeiten gesehen aber insgesamt eine gute Wahl. - Schöne und sehr ruhige (keine Disko in der Nähe) Lage am Meer. Massives Haus, das aber bessere Zeiten gesehen hat. Windgeschützter Balkon. Kakerlaken im Bad. Liebloser Garten mit ehemaliger Bar.
• Rosalyn (6/5): - We missed having coffee in the room, but the mini fridge came in handy. The pillows were too big and hard, but the bed was comfy:) The private balcony was really nice to have.
• Jay (10/5): - First time to Belize and Caye Caulker was our first stop. It didnt dissapoint. Anchorage resort is in a nice location, close enough to everything but just on the end so it was nice and quiet at night. Rooms were clean and we felt safe. The host was very friendly and super helpful with anything we needed. He gave us some aloe Vera when we got abused by the sun on our first day 😆 (fair warning, the sun is HOT in belize!) They had some complementary breakfast sandwiches which were nice to get the morning started. Overall it was a great spot to start out our trip. Thank you for your hospitality!

• Aukje (6/5): - De locatie is top! Net wat verder van de drukte maar je kunt wel nog lopen Het hotel is compleet in verval.. De steiger kun je nauwelijks betreden, het terrein ziet eruit alsof het jaren geleden verlaten is. De kamers zijn basic maar prima, we hadden een ‘nieuwe’ lekkage uit het plafond in de badkamer. Eigenaar zou er naar kijken, niet gedaan en ik vraag me ook af of die dat ooit gaat doen gezien het een oude lekkage was. Fietsen die je kon huren waren zo verroest dat je nauwelijks kon fietsen op een en familie/vrienden van de eigenaar kregen ook nog ruzie op een avond waar het hele hotel van kon meegenieten om half 12. We hadden dit geboekt omdat het betaalbaar aan het water was maar ik zou nu iets anders op het eiland boeken niet aan het water, gezien we geen een keer bij het water hebben gezeten gezien hoe troosteloos het was. Het is gewoon echt niet het geld waard..

• Jenkins (10/5): - It was very conveniently located and away from noise center. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The beach and dock were nice... they even provided a free snack in morning which we had for breakfast along with tea and coffee.

• Kelly (9/5): Lovely Stay - Comfortable stay. It's about a 10 min walk from the Sprinter ferry. Restaurants and bars are walking distance. We did rent bikes from Anchorage, it just made getting around easier. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beach and dock were nice to swim off of. We'd stay again!

• Daniel (6/5): Okay place - I liked that the location had its beach and also had a walking dock with hammocks. I didnt like that our room had an ant infestation. That made me feel uncomfortable. I also didnt like the location because its a far walk from downtown.

• Hagen (8/5): Hotel in guter und ruhiger Umgebung mit lieblos gestaltete Außenanlagen - Lage eigentlich super, allerdings gibt es gar keinen Strand, nur Badestege. Zimmer sind gepflegt. Obwohl in vielen Bewertungen Fahrräder sehr hervorgehoben werden, braucht man die bei der kleinen Insel gar nicht. Die Außenanlagen sehr lieblos und brauchen dringend Renovierung und grundlegende Gestaltung. Generell braucht die Insel ein Gestaltungskonzeot und ein Müllmanagement. Auch die Energieversorgung wäre generell ein lohnendes Zukunftsprojekt. Strom wird mit extrem lauten Generatoren auf der Insel erzeugt, da wäre eigentlich jeder Reisende gut beraten wenn man nach Angeboten schaut, die moderne Energiekonzepte aufweisen. Ist zwar nicht vordergründig Sache des Hotels, der Reisende kann aber regulierend versuchen Druck aufzubauen, wenn auch nur im Kleinen. Alle profitieren hier von der Natur.und diese Ressourcen müssen geschützt werden.

Vermieter ist immer erreichbar.. Free Tee und Coffee and Water an der Rezeption. Danke für die schöne Zeit. Ich musste leider nach 3 Tagen wieder abreisen .

• Marie (10/5): - Joli resort tranquille. Plage et ponton privé avec chaises longues et hamacs. Grande chambre carrelée et salle de bain. Jolie terrasse avec vue sur mer. Très propre. L'intérieur confortable. Personnel adorable. Prêt de vélo. Bref un très bel endroit. Je devais rester 2 jours j'y suis restée 5. Le resort est dans un endroit tranquille tout en étant proche de tout.

• Migliosi (7/5): - Rooms are simple, but very nice and clean. The have conditioned air and fan. If you want to make up your room every day you have to ask it to the reception. The beach is basic (no frills) and WiFi is too weak and it must be empowered.

• Ilda (8/5): - Everything was wonderful, the staff (manager on site) was super helpful. Offered different dinning options as well as tour options. We really enjoyed the snorkeling option he suggested as they offered pick-up & drop off from location as well as GoPro pics and lunch. The one one complaint was when someone from above broke the tub and our whole room was flooded. They couldn't do anything at the the 3am hour but as soon as morning came they quickly move us to another room. It literally sounded like it was raining in our room fom the water above.
• Shawn (6/5): - Seggasum stink was severe. Host was....ok. Zero help with luggage and I definitely didnt like the way they handled the cockroaches. I wont be staying there again. Sorry for the poor review but the truth is the truth. You dont accuse guests you apologize. They wanted proof. I was going to give it yo thrm by waiting until I found anouther cockroach then I was going to make the host eat it. Instead I just lwdt a day warly and didnt care if I was refunded...which of course I wouldnt be. This was a waste of my time and money

• Zoe (8/5): Very good - Great location on the water, plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy the island. Lovely staff, Delroy in particular, offering help wherever possible. Nice to use the kayak to get to the split or you can easily bike ride there. Bathroom was nicely renovated. Air con and wifi worked well.

The office had water and juice for sale. There was a big bbq area and a few iguanas nearby. The pier was nice and I took a dip in the ocean. I’d stay there again.

• Aleisha (7/5): Basic but pleasant stay. Sufficient for my needs. - Rooms were spacious although a little worn. Quiet location. Hot shower, fridge and aircon in the room. No frills, not fancy, but a pleasant enough stay. Enjoyed the hammock off the pier.
• 3kids3dogs3 (2/5): Would never stay here again - We booked this resort through Booking.com. Showed updated bathrooms and a clean space. All I need is basic but clean. We got a very tired room with mold in the bathroom, cob webs hanging from the ceiling, stains on comforters and walls that had splatters of something that were never cleaned. Hardest bed I have ever slept on. One set of stairs in to the water had no railing and a loose step. I fell and had my ankle stuck between steps. Wifi did not work in our room. Would never stay here again.

• Laurie (3/5): Would never stay here again! - I liked that they had kayaks to use free of charge. However, no life jackets were offered. This is a liability hazard. Very tired building. Beds were hard as a rock. Comforters had stains on the underside. Didn’t look like they had been washed. Cob webs hanging from ceiling. Bathroom advertised on Booking.com showed updated facilities. We got a tired old bathroom, with mold. Stairs leading in to the water are not maintained. When we went kayaking, I was getting in to the water and the last step was loose. I fell and my leg got stuck in the boards. This set of stairs also had no railing. Another, hazard.

• Anne (6/5): - This is a basic older hotel. No TV while I was there but lovely staff and location. Better coffee needed in AM, maybe a keurig ? Beds too firm for me and bright green room a bit much but would stay again… just not the green room!

• Ian (10/5): Fantastic place just away from the noise and crowds, with its own private beach area and great views - Anchorage Beach Resort was a special place. It was a few blocks away from the crowds and noise in the evenings, yet offered very comfortable rooms, great staff, and a wonderful balcony view overlooking the ocean. Bed was great, hot shower was excellent and wifi was strong. It is an older resort, but I loved the look and feel of it. Nothing of note.

• Annette (6/5): - While they didn’t do anything wrong this place was not what we expected. It’s a beach resort and so they have a sand area but there’s no beach. There’s no pool either so it’s not a place to hang out in the day. The water smells so terribly you can’t stand it.the room was a nice size but the bed was as hard as a rock. Neither of us slept. It’s a long ways from town and they don’t have a coffee pot or sell pop and water so we had to get up and get ready to spend the day away from the ‘resort’. There’s not much to recommend here. Sorry Anchorage. I would stay here again.
• Sherri (10/5): - It was reasonable and not really loud. Clean. There is a place to sit and watch the water. There is a hotel on the other side that sometimes has a bar open and a fire on the beach. Great little pier to get in the water and watch the sunrise. A nice hotel for a quiet time. It is not a far walk to the main street of town.

Room quality was very poor - our bath was peeling apart and was a serious risk, the were ants everywhere, the wall was leaking during heavy rain, incredibly over priced for the quality of the rooms. dark and dingy the whole thing needs serious updating really. We would have expected this kind of place to be very cheap to make up for the quality.

Good location on a beach with a dock, though my ‘sea view’ room was not really a clear view of the sea. Manager was friendly and helpful. A bit farther than most accommodations from the mix of things Ave not the kind of place you’d hang out at all day (though safe)

• Kaitlin (10/5): We LOVE Anchorage beach resort. - We had an amazing stay at Anchorage Beach Resort - we kept adding on an extra night (for a total of 3 nights) because we loved it so much! This is a hidden treasure in Caye Caulker. Great beach and water access. Balcony with beautiful views. The sunrises were amazing! Easy walk to restaurants in town.

Things I loved: - super warm/friendly manager and staff - on the quieter part of the south side - easy set up for bike rentals; we rode our bikes everywhere and had a blast; also easy to walk for meals - enjoying the gorgeous ocean from our balcony, the dock, and the beach chairs - we had everything we needed in our room in a basic way: couch and table/ chair, TV and microwave, air conditioning, shampoo and soap
