- Maudlin (7/5): Good little motel in Winchester Bay. - Nice little motor inn. Older, but kept up nicely. Floors were laminate instead of carpet, which I appreciate for a cleaner feel. Great, quiet location at the end of the road in the little town of Winchester Bay. Our thermostat in the room would not turn on the heat, so the front desk staff brought us a space heater right away, that was great. Extra blanket was offered at check in, so that was also great.

- Clayton (10/5): Great Inn on the bay! - Always friendly service. Clean, comfortable rooms right on the bay. Our favorite place to stay in Winchester Bay. Pet friendly. An earlier check-in time would be nice. But they let us check in early this time so that was very cool.

- Mary (9/5): Very good value! - Very quiet location, but easy to get back on the road from. The room was very clean without an over powering disinfectant smell. The bathroom was clean and had counter space available. There were charging plugins on the lamp bases. Good TV that was easy to use. There was a power outage about an hour after I arrived, due to very windy stormy conditions, that lasted about 4-1/2 hours. The staff was great about touching base and offering extra blankets and candles if needed. I was very happy with my stay there and will consider them again for future stays when I am in that area again

- Mark (4/5): - The staff was cranky because we checked it 20-minutes early. We changed rooms from a king bed to a double queen room and was charged more for the queens. She put us in the end unit and we lost our "harbor view". If you travel a lot then you know the 'pet-friendly' description is a joke. My dog has never caused any problems and yet these motels find a way to charge. $25-$50 for "damage" that never occurs. Beware this motel has no air conditioning. We stayed in early September and had to open all the windows for a cross breeze. We wont stay there ever again.
- Mark (4/5): - The room was clean. The staff was cranky because we checked in 20-mins early. The room charge was increased because we asked for a double queen bed instead of a king bed. She put us in the very end unit thus taking away any harbor view we might of had. The room rate climbed to $215.00 a night - so the total bill was $430.00 Travelocity might want to go the extra step in explaining the pet fee because every place we stayed had a different price for dogs. I don't mind paying a pet deposit but if there is no damage then it just becomes an extra way to make money off your guests. My guess is the older dogs and smaller dogs are zero trouble and the extra money paid is just pure profit - a sleazy way to increase the profit line.

- Victoria (8/5): - The bed was on the hard side. The walls were so thin, I could hear the people in the next room snoring. The room was a little on the expensive side for a week day off season.
- Jaclyn (8/5): - This is a very basic room, but it is clean and the staff was friendly. Our room had a good shower head, which is hard to come by. I will definitely continue to use this Inn when we want to visit without camping.
- Richard (6/5): Ok Stay, nice place. - The location to the water/docks was great. We had deer roaming around all hours through the parking lot and grass areas. The room itself was a long rectangle and in my opinion a little dated. The bed was at one end of the room and the dresser and tv were at the other. Not a big deal just mentioning it. Only issue was when we checked in, we asked for a room in the front. The desk clerk told us all those rooms were booked. So she put us in a room all the way in the back. Ok no big deal. But before we went to bed and when we got up the next day there were maybe 10 cars in the whole place? The rooms out front only had 6 or 7 cars but there were more than 20 rooms. Overall it was an ok place to stay.

- Shawna (4/5): Only option - There was no smile upon arriving at the office, the lady attending was snippy. The walls are so thin, you can literally hear what is being said next door. This hotel needs serious updating or remodeling. The price is expensive for what you get. The beds are hard and feel like springs are in them.

We'd stay again, very quaint and close to harbor and activities. We just needed a room for the night with a good night's sleep. Our only issue was the room was hot. Probably should have left window open all night but didn't want outside noise waking us up in the morning.

Looked like a doctor's office, so white everywhere.

- Greg (10/5): - Winchester Bay Inn is only a block from the north end of the harbor. Not central, but it is a quieter location. You can see the sky above the ocean from the window (if it is not foggy). The parking is right outside the lower floor rooms. The Inn is old, but the rooms are very clean.

- June (8/5): - The room was quaint and clean. The bed was quite comfortable. Television connection was very poor. Location was great at Winchester Bay Inn. A walking tour map was in the room, and you could walk the bay with the map and locate great eateries of all types, and other businesses too. You can purchase fresh just caught fish and Oysters. We purchased very fresh Halibut, and Oysters to take home. We had breakfast twice at the Bedrocks Restaurant. It was very good, this place is a favorite of the locals. Which was located on the Bay. Overall a very pleasurable experience.
