• Pavlo (10/5): Just perfect! - Everything, very clean, the room was just beautiful and peaceful, the pool was warm and super neat and the garden too! The receptionist was extremely sweet and helpful and we highly recommend the place. Was a bit far from the beaches of the island and you need a transport. Unfortunately we didn’t drive a scooter but we would definitely choose this location again if we visited the island. Also would be nice if it offered breakfast and that we missed!
• Jade (10/5): Gorgeous villa that I'll think about often - I absolutely loved staying at Verona Lanta Resort and I'm so sad we had such an early flight in the morning and had to leave a day early because this place was worth every penny. It's such a gorgeous a spacious villa, beautiful large bathroom, each villa has their own veranda with a little table for two outside and there's such a beautiful view of the mountains. Strong aircon (bonus!) It exceeded all of our expectations and I was in love with the villa as soon as I entered. All of the villas (and there are only a few) are centered around the pool which is always clean. The resort is literally a 3-5 minute walk from Old Town which has everything! You can still venture out to other parts of the island if you want to but we had breakfast, lunch and dinner in Old Town. Specific shoutout to Lantas Cafe and Pinto - great food. There's also a 7-Eleven, the staff kindly told us how everything loops. You can go one way into Old Town and when you leave Old Town walk a bit further to 7-Eleven and it loops back around to the resort, so very conveniently located. You can book activities, airport transfer (including taxi & ferry), boat tours, etc at the front desk - book with them, it is so much cheaper than doing it yourself. I could go on about how much I loved this place but I won't, this is the best place to stay!!! Nothing!

La habitación es amplia y muy confortable, con todo lo necesario y mucha luz natural. Muy cerca del resort hay un 7 eleven y un pequeño restaurante muy básico llamado "Beside 7 eleven", donde pudimos disfrutar de comida deliciosa a muy buen precio. La ubicación del alojamiento no nos gustó. Está situado a la espalda del "old town". Pensábamos que habría más opciones de restaurantes y ocio, pero realmente es un "old-town" muy poco autentico. Es una parte de la isla muy poco atractiva. El alojamiento está realmente bien, pero si volviera, buscaría otro en la parte occidental de la isla donde se encuentran las playas y las mejores opciones de ocio y restauración. Para moverte a la parte interesante de la isla, se necesitan 15 minutos en moto por carreteras solitarias.

Taxi dit tur-retur Old Town 1.000 Baht. Fra piren i Old Town går lokalferge til Koh Por, 200 Baht tur-retur. Flere enkle, autentiske resorter der. Anbefales! Ellers tilbud om diverse båtturer, men flere av disse bører preg av overturisme og virker som turistfeller. To tips om turer til vestkysten: 1.øyhovedstaden Saladan med marked, butikker og restauranter 2. dagsbesøk til luksusresorten Pimalai t.o.m. solnedgangen ca 18:35. Tips om taxi: Wisit i Old Town, sjekk Whatsapp, eller spør etter ham på taxistasjonen ved starten av piren. Restaurant tips Old Town: Piro!!

Yövyttiin tällä 6 yötä, oma villa UPEILLA vuoristo näkymillä, uima-allas villan edessä, uusi villa ja aurinko paistaa koko päivän tänne, hyvä ja puhdas uima-allas, todella hyvä siivous palvelu, todella siistiä, todella siistit huoneet suihkuineen, todella mukava ja avulias henkilökunta, Old town satama alue missä kaikki tarvittava saman kadun varrella, todella hyviä ruokapaikkoja koko katu täynnä, ja kaikki kävelymatkan päässä, sekä 7eleven vieressä, joten skootteria ei kannattanut vuokrata, hiljainen alue rauhaa ja nautiskelua kaipaavalle mutta kuitenkin palvelut vieressä! Les chambres sont belles, propres bien équipées, super piscine, location de scooter directement à l'hôtel. Peut-être juste une remarque sur le petit-déjeuner, plus de choix sur la carte ou un buffet serait bienvenu pour avoir la possibilité d'avoir la foi du salé et du sucré.

• Minna (10/5): - Perfect short break to check out Old Town, start of my 8 day Lanta holiday before moving to another location on the island. Super quality accommodation, lots of space in the modern and clean bungalow. Highlight was the pool - felt luxurious and just fantastic to swin in. Had it mostly to myself as weather was changing and stormy still, hardly any people around which suited me great. Lots of birds about and beautiful butterflies. Eagles soaring and saw bee eaters too, really colourful birds. 711 and couple of fab roadside restaurants round the corner and high street on the other side couple of min walk away. It was raining heavily at times but still nice to hang about. Pack-a-poncho was a great buy for the hol! Loved Grandmas house for healthy sourdough brekkie and their famous mango crumble. Warm welcome everywhere. Reception lady was so sweet and arranged taxi on checkout day. (800 baht to Klong Jark) Peaceful haven for me for couple of days, exactly what I needed. It was only 2400 baht for 2 nights as solo traveller as booked it months prior on booking.com. I did lots of research and handpicked my accommodation to experience different styles, this exceeded my expectations for the space and quality. Warmly recommend! I wanted to stay in few different places on Lanta to really have time to enjoy each place properly at my own pace instead of being parked up in one accommodation and then having to do daytrips. New holiday each time that way! Little bit of road noise naturally but didn't bother me. Dead quiet at night slept like a baby.
• M_BB (10/5): Just perfect. - There was nothing to dislike. It's wonderful to feel the staff is thinking from a guests perspective and making the stay wonderful. Everything was perfect; perfectly maintained cottage, beautiful pool, clean, quiet, very comfortable bed and close to a lot of hotspots. Best place we stayed in our month in Thailand. If you want a really quiet room you can ask for a room in the back, the front is near the pool which gives it a beautiful view and vibe but more people in the morning (pool closes at 20:00).

Super quick walk to old town, and 7-Eleven very close. Super quick 200mb+ internet. Friendly, helpful staff. Bonus tip, street food/basic cafe called "the restaurant" near 7-eleven does fantastic food and super cheap too.

• Teresa (10/5): Great stay at the Verona Lanta Resort. - The Verona Lanta is a small resort about a 5 minute walk from Old Town. It looks just like the photos. Our cabana was spacious, very clean, very quiet and had a nice view of the garden. The pool is big enough to do some light swimming. Breakfast every morning was tasty and filling. We were able to relax and enjoy our stay. Nothing. We thought everything was perfect.

• Sonja (10/5): Wonderful hotel - Wonderful Boutique Hotel. Every room is a freestanding bungalow. The rooms are spacious, modern, and well-maintained. The hotel's location is excellent, just a few meters from the old town, where you can find plenty of restaurants, shops, and cafes. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the rooms are equipped with smart TVs. One improvement could be adding sheer blinds in addition to blockout blinds to provide privacy during the day. Additionally, if you're planning to spend a lot of time on the beach, be aware that the beaches are on the other side of the island.

Motorcycles in Thailand are not silent. I needed earplugs to block out the sound as our cottage was one closest to the roadside

It is however very close to the old town which has lovely restaurants over the water so depends what you are looking for

• Carolyn (10/5): A true gem in the heart of Old Lanta Town - Our experience at the Verona has been nothing short of extraordinary. This charming establishment, nestled in the heart of Old Lanta Town, exudes a tranquil atmosphere. The staff consistently greet guests with warm smiles and go above and beyond to assist, which made us so fond of our stay that we decided to extend it by two additional nights. We are currently enjoying one of their newly constructed bungalows, which offers ample space and comfort. The view from the pool, overlooking the majestic mountains, is truly enchanting. Within just a three-minute walk, we can access the town, where a plethora of excellent restaurants awaits, all reasonably priced. Having scooters at our disposal has been a tremendous convenience, allowing us to explore other areas with ease. The local roads are well-maintained and safe for a comfortable ride. I highly recommend the Verona to anyone seeking a delightful getaway. Nothing
• Michelle (10/5): Wonderful peaceful tiny resort - Wonderful small resort located on the more tranquil part of the Island. Despite that Koh Lanta old town (mainly one street) is about 5 minutes walk and there you can find some restaurants and shops. We stayed just one night but I would be happy to stay there in the future for much longer and explore the Island. The hotel maintains a policy of peace and quiet (they even have guests sign a commitment not to disturb other guests), which means it's not a hotel for young people who have come to party. The pool area is stunning! At the check out we had hard time to get an invoice for the stay (needed it for company refund reasons). After some hasstle and booking.com assistance, the only paper that we managed to get is a receipt. Luckily in our case it was sufficient, but bare in mind that if you need a proper invoice for the stay- they cant provide it.

• Nikola (10/5): Exceptional - We had a wonderful stay at Verona. The host is very nice and polite, always with a smile on his face 😀 It’s located in the Lanta Old Town, which means you will have to go to the western side of the island for the beaches and restaurants. We knew it before booking and for us it was not an issue, but it can be for some people if they don’t want to drive a motorcycle. It takes 15-20 minutes to drive to the other side. Next to the accommodation there is a 7eleven store and a gas station. There is a swimming pool with very warm water, where the only downside is the working hours: 8am to 8pm. We really wish it opened earlier and/or closed later. The rooms are, in fact, bungalows, which are spacious enough. There is a minibar, well stocked with beer and soft drinks, refilled daily. They provide fresh towels everyday to be used for the pool or the beach. As the accommodation is surrounded with lots of nature, be prepared to see a few bugs or lizards around or even inside of your room. They offer motorcycle rental at 250 baht/day (Honda Click 125). As deposit, you can leave your passport or 5000 baht. We had a dead battery late in the night (around 10pm). I called the host and he came in less than 30 minutes to the other side of the island with a new battery, which was replaced in 5 minutes. We also had a punctured rear tire, which happened very far from the accommodation. A member of their staff appeared within 20 minutes with a replacement scooter. We were charged 1180 baht for the tire and got the scooter back the next day. The motorcycles are fine and relatively new, but we were just unlucky. They offer snorkeling tour for a very affordable prices compared to other means of booking. They also arranged a taxi for us on the last day to transfer us to Saladan pier. Price for the taxi is 500 baht, which is on the more expensive side compared to rest of Thailand. We will definitely come back. A minus goes to a very weak water pressure in the shower. We really wish the pool opened earlier and/or closed later.

The staff jet hosing the path for example. The pool is amazing and plenty of shade too. Staff lovely. 2 min walk from 7 eleven The bed was very hard but not a problem for us as such. Would be nice to have 2 pillows instead of 1 but I could of asked for these but it wasn’t that bad too, so no fault of the hotel

• Catherine (9/5): Lovely place, hosts and town - We loved our stay at the Verona and were sad to leave. Perfect location for the old town, 7/11 and cheap eats nearby. We received a very warm welcome and shown our bungalow which was very well appointed and super clean. Large firm bed and quiet. It is low season, so not fully occupied and it felt like a hide away. There is a bit of road noise but there isn't much traffic. Scooter hire available, very lovely hosts and restaurant by 7/11 is recommended as well as the bubble tea stall next to it at 25bht. Easy access to a very quaint old town. Nothing. After 3 nights we were sad to leave. Even the gentleman at the hardware store on the back road gave us a nod, smile and greeting every morning. We saw a volleyball game one evening by the museum and some ladies doing Thai dancing by the ship wreck. It is a place to spend a few days and wind down and hang out.

• Adrien (10/5): Great chill and lay back hotel! Awesome and helpful staff - Awesome lay out and relax and chill lay back feeling. The receptionist was super helpful and honest. It was easy to communicate with him and he took the time to give us advice and make travel arrangements. We also rented 3 scooters from the place and all worked well. I almost never give 10 but when it’s good, it’s good. All was great. The mattress could be a tad less hard but beside it no complain.

Clean and well kept swimming pool, perfect to cool off after a walk in the Old Town which is located at 3 min walking distance. Staff were top - they were super helpful and looking after each detail. Easy to rent motorbikes from them. You are really missing out if you don't stay here!

• Fancypants (10/5): Chilled out spot in Old Town - Lovely quiet resort with a great pool area and spotlessly clean rooms. Staff were very friendly and helpful and it is a two minute walk from the old town where there are many places to eat. Also possible to rent a bike and book tours if that's what you want to do. One of our favourite spots on the island. Loved it there and highly recommend. Nothing to complain about - for once!!!

• Daniel (8/5): Lovely stay if you are looking for something quieter. Personally having spent a week in Koh Phi Phi, I relished the calm - Nicely designed and comfortable rooms. Great location for Lanta Old Town. Quieter than other areas in Lanta, so need a scooter to get around to the beaches, but it’s an ideal break from the hustle and bustle of other areas. Close to the main road so some traffic noise at night. Shower water pressure adequate but not great. The porch light is linked to the key insert, so no key, no power to the outside lights. That means you return to the room in darkness. Could do better to reduce single use plastics (water bottles, shampoo, shower gel).

• Jana (10/5): 99% perfect! Wonderful location, premises and staff! - What a lovely hotel!!! So quiet and beautifully kept, the pool is fantastic, the rooms are spacious and the bathroom too, you get your own private little bungalow, only 8 rooms, even though each bungalow was booked, it felt like our own private pool and place! The receptionist is cheerful and very helpful too. Perfect for old town exploration (a gem in itself) and as a base to go on the 4 island tour (long tail boats leaving from old town pier, cutting out travel time by car, you can just walk to your meeting spot!). Hard mattress! That’s the case in most places here it feels, but this was really was quite hard!!
• Roxanne (7/5): Lovely, though bed is too hard - Lovely place in Lanta Old Town. The swimming pool is absolutely perfect. And although the resort is located next to the big road, it feels like a hidden paradise. Kind staff, wifi worked well, good scooters available for rental, restaurants and 7 eleven nearby. The bed is way too hard, not comfortable at all! If they change the beds, everything would be perfect. For beaches, you need to be on the other side of the island, but we loved staying in Lanta Old Town as well, as it's a cute town.

• Anonymous (9/5): Relaxing stay near the old town - A small and cozy resort near the old town and its many great restaurants on the quiet side of the island. The bungalows are comfy and very tidy. The pool area and the surroundings are also very well kept. Besides the small old town there’s not much within walking distance, so you pretty much need a scooter to get around and go to the beaches.
• Alessandro (8/5): Very good - Confortable Rooms, with a nice pool and a rather new overall structure. Staff is friendly and supportive. All the rooms are located in front of the pool with Windows only facing there resulting in lack of privacy. Breakfast should be improved in terms of choice. The location is quiet and near the old town 20 minutes away from the most relevant beaches (but we knew that)

• Mitja (10/5): Perfect stay on Koh Lanta. - Everything. The rooms are clean, spacious and well equipped. Especially the bathroom was exceptionally good. The bed was great aswell. The pool was wonderful, had the perfect temperature and was always a good addition to our experience here. The whole location with all of the plants and the clean and friendly atmosphere was the perfect location for us. All members of the staff were so friendly and helpful all the time. We rented a scooter from them, perfectly fine also. We would definitely stay here again a 100%.

• Giedre (10/5): Perfect stay - We stayed 6 nights in total and we loved it! It's a very nice little resort with an amazing swimming pool. It is also just around the corner from the beautiful Lanta Old Town where you can find restaurants (our favourites: Pinto, Apsara, Grandma's house). All the beautiful beaches are on the other side of the island but you can easily rent a motorbike from the resort and go on adventure ;) A little recommendation to the resort: to add healthier dishes to the possible breakfast options (for example, an avocado toast).
• Sonam_k (10/5): Exceptional - Great value for money and a really nice, comfortable, clean room. The pool is also a plus which is great. The location is in old town which is slightly far out from the beaches and so on but it is quiet and nice. The breakfast was very basic and I didn't really enjoy the options.

• Linda (10/5): best place to stay - by far the best place we stayed in the last 3 month, the staff is extremely friendly! very luxurious feeling, clean rooms, good and silent AC, comfy beds, big pool with sun loungers and sunshades! They provide water bottles, shampoo, shower gel & shower hats! good laundry service and you could easily rent a scooter as well! The lighting in the room is also very thought through :) Also walkable distance to the old town and 7/11 :) 10/10 highly recommend staying here!

• Aline (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice small resort a little back from the sea and the town. Amenities are superb and the pool is perfect. It's really a place to relax and slow down! We loved it and would definitely come back! Location is also great, close to the old Town and a 7/11 Shop just above the street.
