Kristian (6/5): Few days in Tawau - Location at center of town, short walk to shore and restaurants. Hotel and room clean, but AC should clean up also. Oldish. mosque and noise from street can be hear very well in the room.

Rose (8/5): Close to Jalan Chester Pasar Malam, Tamu Ahad Sabindo and all the eateries. Good stay for 1 night! - Location of the hotel is excellent. It is close to restaurants and eateries. I stayed for one night for Tawau Marathon and on Saturday, just a walking distance to the Jalan Chester Pasar Malam and the next day morning after completing the run, had the experience for Tamu Ahad Sabindo. The reception (I don't remember his name) was really nice as he helped me to find an info on the shuttle bus that was provided for the Tawau Marathon. Overall, good experience for 1 night at Check Inn Hotel. The room has no window (and during the booking, I selected no window room - as it was cheaper. No one to be blame :) ).

Bella (2/5): Very poor - Location of the hotel is nice, near to many places. Easier to get food and other stuffs Definitely not OKU friendly at all. They write on apps accessible hotel but to go to the room, have stairs before lift. As wheelchair user, it is unacceptable for OKU people.
Yee (6/5): Very affordable but not going back. - It's very reasonably priced and located in good location with nearby eateries/7-11/general goods store. There was cigarette smell everywhere eventhough they have non-smoking floors, especially the lift. The rooms did not feel clean - toilet had cockroach in the shower, bedsheets have weird stains and worst was my pillow had a wet/sweaty smell that was just really hard to sleep through.

After 2 weeks between jungle and islands we booked this property especially because of the reviews about a very good WiFi. We needed it for some work that came up unexpectedly. Unfortunately the WiFi didn’t work at all in our floor and nobody was able to help with a solution

Emji (9/5): Overall good - It was clean enough, the evening staff was friendly and helpful, the only downside was my door lock got problems but they immediately changed me to another room. I booked the room with no window. It was OK for 1 night's sleep, but I could not stand inside too long as it was a bit small, and I got a little claustrophobic. The price on the website does not include the tax, so in the end, I found it a bit expensive for what it was.
