- Future Mrs Morellini (7/5): A spacious place to get ready for my wedding. So much character and history from the mid 1800's. - The character of the accommodation was outstanding! You could feel the history of the building the instant you opened the door. The extra bath mats and hand towels were a homely touch and very appreciated, especially sharing a bathroom with that many people haha. The kitchen facilities were great, comfy lounges and access was easy.
Thank you to the two young gentlemen that looked after our check in and went on a mission to find us extra sheets and a blanket even though the bar was getting slammed. Very thoughtful!
Having Alfred's Kitchen just across the way was excellent; seriously the BEST burgers!
And BottleMart is just there = very handy. There were 6 of us staying in the apartment and we had to ask for extra bedding to cover the lounges so each of us had a bed. However, the gentleman at the front desk went above and beyond, even though the cleaning quarters were closed for the evening, he found an extra blanket, mattress cover and pillow for us. Absolutely wonderful customer service!!
There wasn't any dishwashing tablets for the washer, or any tea towels to dry the dishes if we washed them by hand haha. But thankfully that was rectified the following day.
The middle room out the back was quite noisy due to what sounded like maybe a fridge that held the kegs. Thermostat was turning on and off all night. Not sure if possibly some sound deadening could be added to that room, as that would definitely help with the noise travel. Thank you :)
One other thing, there is a flannel shoved into a hole in the wall above the shower hahaha. Not sure if that is mouldy, but there is a bit of a mildew smell in there. Might I suggest getting that one gets patched properly :P But it gave us all a good laugh!! Loved the tile shelf in the shower, though. And SO much space.
- McLennan (7/5): - No breakfast option available
- Taranty (10/5): Amazing! Bed is super comfy! - The rooms are decorated nicely. block out curtains, and the bed is unbelievably comfortable! The food downstairs in the restaurant is great too. Only complaint was lugging heavy suitcase up the stairs.

- Pearton (10/5): - Fantastic area close to public transport easy to get around and to the airport. Loved the Old Hotel. The best thing was the amazing staff and service. As we felt at home like part of the crew.
Not to mention the retro shopping and Bakery close by..
I will be making it my go to stay over .. From Now on.

- Tara (9/5): A spacious weekender away from the rat race - I like the location in the outer suburbs but close enough to public transport and main roads it feels close to everything but with enough space to breath, spacious parking, right on the cafe strip, train to anywhere. Big rooms, opening windows, greenery and super comfy beds I love everything
- Rebecca (8/5): Affordable, clean, quiet and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. - Close to the airport, clean, comfortable and surprisingly quite. The stairs to the room. Especially with heavy bags. Luckily a friendly staff member was there to assist.
- Riley (6/5): - excellent location nil
- Godfrey (8/5): Was good for a very short stay but could be improved. - Didn't have breakfast. Had dinner a couple of times which wàs good, my family visited me and also dined all rated their meals good. My room was very small but okay for a very short stay. Access to water to fill kettle nigh on impossible had to fill it cup by cup from vanity. No tea towel or paper towel to wipe cups after use or wipe down bench. Water in bottle tasted stale
was it left by previous occupant? Just two tiny milk cartons - not enough.

- Margaret (10/5): Perfect Little Stay in Guildford — Would Definitely Return - I stayed at The Stirling in Guildford for a few nights and had a really comfortable experience. It was exactly what I needed — easy, relaxed, and welcoming.
Housekeeping was fantastic, always keeping the room fresh with clean towels and everything well looked after. The location is super convenient too, just a short stroll to the train station and some really lovely cafés nearby.
The restaurant and bar downstairs were a highlight — great atmosphere, friendly locals, and genuinely lovely staff.
Overall, a really enjoyable stay and I’d definitely book here again.

The hotel is old and dated but only adds to the character. The rooms are lovely and beds really comfortable. The staff went above and beyond for us all. Guildford is beautiful and I'm so glad we booked The Stirling Arms as our venue for our family party. Sunday Dinner was great too. Thank you

- Paul (8/5): Friendly staff Great food Clean room - Easy access from the airport old world charm Nil
- Elaine (3/5): - Not alot For the money we got charged, I expected it to be really good. The air conditioning sounded like it was a washing machine. It was very noisy you could hear everything. The curtain was broken. The bed was hard. Staff didn't smile or make you feel welcomed. My dinner was a roast with Yorkshire pudding that was overcooked it was very bland.
- Joanne (8/5): - Great location. Close to Swan Valley for a friends wedding. Surprisingly quiet room Air conditioning didn't work very well

- Robert (8/5): Great Stay! - Comfortable room in an excellent location. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Great food in the pub. Room was slightly smaller than we hoped when booking. Our fault though we should have realised we were only booking a studio and should have gone for a suite.
