- paulprit7 (2/5): Very Disappointing - What a terrible experience! First the good points. The hotel is very close to the AirAsia check in at KLIA-2 and the bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately that is where the good points stop. The hotel has paper thin walls and you hear every door, every lock, every footstep, every voice coming from all directions non-stop for your entire stay. The common shower rooms are a constant noise with people coming and going, waiting in line for their shower and talking loudly incessantly. The shower rooms are filthy with other peoples mess, hair, wet towels. It is disgusting. I’d rather sleep on the floor in the terminal than stay here again.

Don’t use Google maps from arrivals as it wanted us do a 2.1km walk when we didn’t even have to leave the building! It was great for 1night, but if we had better flight times it wouldn’t have been needed.

Comfy bed and I have a great sleep at Aerotel while transit here at the airport before flying to my next destination. Very convenient at a great location in KLIA2, highly recommended to the travelers that looking for hourly or overnight stay at the airport. Thank you and definitely coming back again.

Cons: bedrooms are in serious need of maintenance, most especially in the bathrooms where the mirrors are all eroded. It seems like this may have been a lovely 5-star hotel many years ago, but has been forgotten about since then. We would stay here again if we came to Palu City.

- davidyV8873RG (8/5): Decent budget hotel for 12 hours - I landed in KLIA 1 (international) and took a cab to KLIA 2. My room was for only 12 hours, as I had a domestic flight the next morning. The room was adequate (as advertised). My particular room didn’t have a separate bathroom, but there were public ones that were constantly cleaned. When you dim the lights, it’s pretty much pitch black, so you want to use your phone as a clock. Restaurants around the area were good. Overall, Aerotel served its purpose as a budget hotel for my need.

- Monika (10/5): - Great property! We used this as a day room as we had a long layover in KL. The hotel is literally outside the airport and in the KLIA shopping mall. Easy to access and quick checkin. The room was large and super comfortable. They give you lots of little extras in the room so you don't need to carry much. Remember it is part of the Plaza Premium Lounge so if you have access to these lounges, you can grab free food and drink from the lounge. The train to KL city is literally there and it takes you to straight to the Sentral. Worked perfectly for us.

- LemonJane (8/5): Overnight hotel stay at the airport - We stayed one night here as our flight to Tokyo was retimed to the next day. The hotel is located at KLIA2. Room lighting is a bit dark as there is no window. It is clean and spacious alright. For an overnight or early morning stay this would be a good choice. I do wish they charge cheaper price.

- adrianl277 (8/5): Perfect for a short layover with clean rooms - Aerotel is a hotel chain specialized in airport hotels that attach to the airports with a variety of rooms to use on a hourly basis, and they offer various types of rooms - some with private shower and some with shared shower. Some with solo bed and some with double beds! They are really not for an extended stay. So I think we need to adjust our expectation. I arrived on a redeye and need a few hours to rest before another connecting flight in the afternoon. I paid for a solo plus room. Yes there is no window but for a few hours of sleep, it is perfect. The bathroom is clean and the WiFi is decent. Staffs are friendly and it works. I will not hesitate to return in the future. Just a word about payment, you have to pay in advance, even for flexible stays. It is a bit unusual for hotels regarding flexible stays, but Aerotel KUL works that way. Aerotel Kuala Lumpur is located in klia2, the low cost/Air Asia terminal, and it will cost you a few MYR to take the train to KLIA-1 for most full service airlines.

- karenrZ6272CI (6/5): Not the best - I didn't like the fact there was no window but I've never stayed in a hotel like this. The two double beds were comfy. The shower and amenities good. I wouldn't describe the shower as powerful. There was a noise all night. A bit like trying to sleep on a plane but we weren't on a plane. The bar attached to the hotel had the most friendliest of host. It was very convenient for our morning flight but I wouldn't stay again.

- 4chillis (10/5): Perfect for a short stay. - I flew into Terminal 1 and Aerotel airport hotel was convenient to get to as it was right next to the KLIA train station. The room was surprisingly large and they provided everything that you needed for a short stay. Very clean and comfortable. Extremely secure. Staff were professional. If you don't want to leave the airport there are plenty of restaurant options nearby.

Walls were paper thin so we could hear the entire conversation the family had next door when they arrived at midnight. They really need to fix this. Other than that rooms were modern and clean.

However, there was some critical operation restriction. But this is only my viewpoint. 1. As attached, Smart Traveler benefit 10%-off was not applied when booking online. It looks just a system issue to be solved. 2. Booking at one-hour-advance is ineffective especially on a mid night usage. There was a solo room available online, however the reception staff could not accept to check in, so I had to wait 1 hour+ in the midnight. 3. 1-3 hours stay cost and 4-8 stay cost are same online, however the receptionist explained they have two different prices. I needed only 3-hours stay but I had to pay extra by online booking.

And being given earplugs at checkin didn’t bode well. They came with a warning it may be noisey. Guess they’re only transit cells, what more do you need.

- Kimberley (10/5): - This hotel is worth every penny! Such a convenient and comfortable place to stay before or after a flight. Spotless rooms, comfortable beds, and a really lovely bathroom. I am always amazed at how clean, spacious and relaxing the rooms feel even though it is an airport hotel without windows to the outside world. Plenty of food and shopping options in KLIA2. If you are someone who would appreciate some rest time or a nice warm shower in a quality hotel room before/after a flight then this is the place to go. If you are planning on staying here, just remember to be considerate of other guests who may be asleep in their rooms at the time when you arrive - keeping noise levels down as you walk through the corridors would be very much appreciated by all.

- Peter (8/5): - It is a relatively new property, clean and in a good location, it would benefit if it in room safety deposit boxes and a laundry service. I did have noisy neighours next to my room, but the hotel staff dealt with it.
- Cara (2/5): - Construction drilling above my room from 8p to midnight, and they knew before giving me my room at 5:30p! Said they weren't sure which rooms were impacted 3 hours before!?!? Walls and doors are thin, and you can hear everything. Rooms are nice for one night stay, but the construction drilling until midnight from an airport hotel where customers are trying to sleep before morning flights is disgraceful! Avoid unless you really have no choice. 450 RM for drilling noises until midnight!

Downside was we could hear the occupants from the next room, so couldn’t really enjoy the much needed rest before the next flight. Overall opinion, ok bah kalau kao 👍
- Anabguzman (6/5): Convenient but loud - The hotel is very convenient right in the exit of the terminal. But be advised that it is rented by 12 hours so if you do not let them know when you'll be arriving you might not have a room. Also It is just sooooooo loud there is a restaurant on top of it and you can hear all the chairs and tables moving. Loud noises voices everything.
- SC (4/5): - I booked a twin bed but given a single bed in a super tiny room. Didn't realise the bathroom not attached. Still cost me AUD 84 My room are close to the entrance, whoever open the door can hear clearly. Tenant open next room door I feel like open mine. I checked in around 11pm check out before 5am, I couldn't sleep at all due to the noise. Feel like myself staying a capsules without an earplug. Heard the normal room really good. I didn't expect mine are like that.

The managers name was AMIRULL ARIFF , please that Guy needs to lesrn how to talk to customer Service, go to hotel School. U do not GIVE customer a attitude. Hotel was bad can hear everything happening In every room from Your room. Better stay In a capsule.
- dwaotearoa (4/5): Value hotel at 4 star price - Care on the fine print. I understand this is a transit hotel providing modest service and facilities, I have no issue with that. But the cost of US$170 a night is not representing value. No safe so you must carry passport and valuables everytime you leave room. Plumbing not only do you hear the gurgle in sink when you shower but a constant from other rooms. Non smocking room strong Stale Smoke smell - where is HK aily report and Ozone machine etc to neutralise. At this price I do not expect to have to complain on such issues. Very small print you will note solo rooms share Toilet and bathroom. This is not clear but fine print only. No issue but make it a dominant feature. For a transit value hotel acceptable apart from above. But value for money think of alternates at this price.

- rhiannonh301 (10/5): Great pitstop - Great way to recharge on a lay over stop. Travelling with children, stopped in off a 14hr flight to a 14hr wait for connecting flight to Cambodia. Comfy bed. Good facilities, kids loved watching the planes.

The noise from the hallway was equally disturbing, as the voices and foot traffic echoed through the thin walls. This created a frustrating and restless environment that made sleep nearly impossible.

There was no response from the service desk, which was a very bad experience. What I am dissatisfied with is that the hotel did not inform me when I checked in that overnight construction. It was Cheating!!!

Drilling, hammering, construction work at 1:30am and reception just said sorry it’s an airport and shops and renovations happens 24x7. People trying to access my room many times. Knocking on the door for 40 minutes at 3am. Did not dare to open the door. I don’t know what was going on and if this hotel has any security. Tried to call reception but no response.

Would be nice to have a dry shelf to put toiletries while using the sink. Sounds of doors opening and closing can be quite annoying.

I made a booking for 24 hours and asked the hotel if I can check in during midnight since I arrived at 3am. The hotel replied “We operate 24 hours. Don’t worry about your late arrival.” At the end, I could not check in the room but to wait until 2pm. There is no point of booking the hotel if I have to stay in the airport to check in. Then the staff mentioned, if I check out on the same day, I can check in immediately. Which it was a scam, I booked for 24 hours but I got kicked out in 7 hours. I reported the case to the hotel, they did not admit their mistake, then I elevated the case to the Plaza Premium Group. They same did not apologize to their messy arrangement. What a shame! What a ridiculous company ! WORSE hotel ever!!

- Paul (2/5): - I was here for less than 12 hours. I just needed somewhere to sleep for a few hours. All I heard was furniture scraping on the floor in adjoining rooms and the plumbing running at full pelt. Oh, and you can see light coming through where the air conditioning unit has been installed which is hella distracting when you need to sleep.
- Lixendee (10/5): Pleasant 7 hours stay - I was mistaken booked this hotel, thought that we will arrive and transit for about 9 hours in terminal 2. Hence I ask the hotel about canceling procedure, the hotel really help by explained me info about it. But because I did a booking from Agoda which are no cancellation required, I keep the booked and took express train from KLIA to KLiA2 which the station just under the hotel. So you can easy found this hotel in teh center of everything. Located in the center of arrival and departure. The room: - I took the “12 hours room”, still I guess a bit overpriced for the short stay but…. - Amenities are complete - Quite big spacious twin room (I ask for double but it depend on availability so just took what ever they have) - clean and updated room and amenities Barhroom: - For an airport room the bathroom is has a spacious shower box. - Soap and Shampoo are free flow - Hairdryer provided - Towels are clean and complete for body and face I have a pleasant rest, because of no window, the room is very quiet and dark. Next month I have an early flight and I already booked 2 rooms for my family in this hotel. I think this is the best airport hotel in KLIA2.

And the hotel is comfortable and clean.Highly recommended. If you want to go to the city can just take the KSL Express, about 28mins to KSL Sentral

- Yesmin (10/5): Great Airport Overnight Stay - I was checked in by a junior member of staff who was a little uncertain checking me in. However, his colleague Annabelle stepped in and seamlessly smoothed the transaction. I have stayed here a few times if I land late and catching an early flight the next morning. It’s a short smooth couple of minutes train connection between one terminal to the next. Upon exit of train terminal, the hotel is directly in front of you with plenty of dining options and shopping if you so desire.
- W6287PHmichaelp (2/5): Never stay here! Ever. - This joint is a complete rip off. I booked for a 5 hour layover. When I arrived at KLIA Malaysian immigration advised that I couldn't leave the airport (min time is 7 hrs). Nevertheless, and being made aware of this when I booked, the hotel accepted the booking. When I complained they said I had tried to cancel with less than 24 hrs notice and guess what? No refund. This is deceptive and misleading conduct and highly unethical behaviour. And as 600 ringgit for 5 hours it's expensive. I ended up staying at the sami-sami express within the terminal at KLIA which wad great and one third the price. A word of warning: NEVER, EVER stay at the aerotel. The service and customer care are IMHO non existent.
