Just felt at home. - Lovely old apartment in beautiful Battery Point close to cafes, and short walk to Salamanca. Very well appointed with thoughtful inclusions for guests. Super cosy and tranquil. The carpark out the back is tight! So you need to be confident at Reversing! But it was great to have as not much street parking available in the area. Our Bathroom was very small but didn’t bother us.

Little noisy in the morning as bed room out front, parking is cosy but manageable, no dryer but clothes line and pegs, internet slow.

- Brodwyn (8/5): The decor was very tasteful. Bedding excellent. The kitchen was mostly well equipped. - The location was wonderful. It is very accessible to the waterfront and Salamanca, and was a good easy way of looking around the houses of battery point. The configuration of the bathroom was rather unusual and I wouldn’t call it the most convenient set up, but we worked around it. Parking was a big advantage. It didn’t spoil our stay, but a sharp knife to use on meats and bread in the kitchen would’ve been very very useful.

Great size, fantastic location close to restaurants etc with off street parking - Fantastic location, good size, great TV, thoughtful touches (Tim tams, sherry etc), great to have off street parking. Whilst it had everything we needed, the apartment felt a little tired and could do with a bit of a spruce up (eg lots of scuff marks on walls, stain on bed spread so didn’t feel super clean ).
- Angela (8/5): A fabulous place to stay if you like soft beds. - Fabulous location in the most historical part of Hobart. It is easy to walk to the waterfront and Salamanca from here. There are a few cafes and restaurants in the close vicinity but you need to make reservations ahead for dinner because they are very popular. The apartment is very well equipped and beautifully decorated. I understand that bed preferences are very personal but the softness of the beds in this apartment didn't suit us at all. There were no instructions about using the TV and I found it very annoying that I couldn't turn off Alexa or whoever it was on the smart TV.

- Starleen (7/5): - Location. Furnishings were lovely. Coffee/breakfast shop right across the street. We rented for three people. There were only two sets of towels in the bathroom. The bathroom situation is a little complicated if a couple and a friend are renting. The shower and toilet are in a room with doors; however the sink for the bathroom is in a separate room and doesn't have a door from the primary bedroom. Our friend ended up using the kitchen sink as her sink--not ideal.

- Andrew (8/5): Nice location, comfortable stay, admin needs attention - Excellent location in the middle of Battery Point, so good for exploring there. Less than 10mins walk to Salamanca Square and the markets. Comfortable, good facilities overall and plenty of space. We only managed to get into the property by luck! There is a key box with a code that we hadn’t been given. No one answered the phone when we called them. Luckily there were people in one of the other apartments, who were with friends in another apartment. They had worked out that the key code was related to the apartment number, so suggested we try that - thankfully it worked! There is free parking, but if you have a car bigger than a mid sized SUV you probably will find the driveway too narrow. 4 apartments and only 3 spaces. A few minor maintenance issues need attention, lightbulbs etc.

Choice of coffee shops available in the street. Quiet location overall with no noise from other apartments within the building. Very comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Issues with wi-fi which owner promptly tried to address. Even so, only one person of our party seemed to have reliable access. Lack of bedside reading lamp in the single bedroom was a nuisance. Also the lack of privacy from the main bedroom with the shared vanity area.. maybe a curtain across that area may have been useful?

Walking distance to many of Hobarts attractions but in saying this not suitable for elderly people as there were many hills and steps. There are a few cafes and a couple of restaurants nearby. The apartment is decorated beautifully and the complimentary port was a nice touch. The heated towel rack in the bathroom was a blessing. It is time to replace the mattress on the bed. Very soft and offers no support . If you are a light sleeper then this is not the cottage for you . The bedroom is at the front of the building and the window opens to the footpath as all these cottages were built back in the day. As there are a few cafes and restaurants in the street there is always noise as happy drunken people make their way back to their cars which are parked up and down the street . There were handles off of most of the bedroom drawers and the pretty curtains don't block out any light. Growing over and around the back door is a jasmine, very pretty but has an extremely strong perfume which permeates the cottage, so if you suffer from sinus do not visit in flowering season.

We were in Unit 2 (ground floor) so a bit of noise from running water upstairs and other unit guests passing to car park. Unit needs decorating as a bit tatty and dated. Kitchen microwave combi oven needs a good clean. We had no internet the first day but luckily another unit guest was leaving so we were given the dongle from that unit. Second single bedroom basic and bathroom a little awkward.

Accommodation had 2 bedrooms and well equipped kitchen suitable for longer stays. Off street parking provided. Welcoming decanter of Port was a nice touch. The were issues with connection to streaming service. Not a problem for us as TV was ok. TV in bedroom is only a monitor so we could not watch in there.

- SUSAN (8/5): We enjoyed our stay immensely. - There was no breakfast. The decor was funky. Lounge chairs were comfy and nice big TV. Kitchen was great Our queen bed was very comfortable. Ideal location, lots of restaurants around us and easy to walk into the city. The single bed was very uncomfortable and our 3rd quest said she nearly rolled out of it every night. The mattress was on a slant and on the 3rd night we placed cushions under the mattress but then it bowed in the middle. The shower door turns inwards and the water leaks on the floor.

Everything you needed was there, parking was easy. Bed was very high, not great if you have mobility issues or on the shorter side. The shower was not renovated well, even after they came to change the hose. Noise from plumbing in the other apartment was very loud.

- Lynne (8/5): Dry cute,comfortable - A very cute, thoughtfully decorated, cosy apartment. If you visit during Winter, the top floor is bathed in sunshine all day (weather permitting). The neighbourhood is gorgeous, historic and a short walk to town. I think it is too small for more than 2 people

- Gaylene (9/5): Beautiful and great location at Battery Point. - The beautiful decor was fantastic. Battery Point is a great area to wander. We found plenty of ways to fill our time enjoying breakfast and dinner, and so many beautiful buildings. It didn't feel like me, it looked too upmarket. What a worry😅
- Judith (10/5): Quiet and comfy in a beautiful historic location - Great location. Private courtyard entrance from car park all ground level. It was an easy walk to the places we needed to go. Comfortable lounge furnishings and the Port and chocolate biscuits provided were very much appreciated. Quiet, comfy and tastefully decorated. Could have had better lighting in the sink area of the bathroom. Not ideal for makeup application although the wall mounted magnifying mirror and fluffy dressing gowns made up for it

- Katelyn (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful location in the heart of Battery Point. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and very well presented. The property manager was very easy to communicate with and provided a wonderful experience.
- Allison (8/5): Very good - Great location, attractive design, comfy sofa, nice outdoor seating area. This spot is great for couples! Only 3 parking spaces available around the back, however it is shared among 4 accomodations. Time limited street parking also available.

It was a perfect spot for anybody that wants to come to Hobart.

Bed: Great Listed as having a kitchen..Oven, Microwave Oven, however, they are actually the same appliance: A convection microwave oven. Stove top : Good, 4 burners so a good size. I'd recommend putting in a half dish draw or caravan style dishwasher because people don't wash up properly. I did NOT like the dirty old sponge supplied to do the washing up. The cutlery drawers were dirty The fridge vegetable crisper was dirty. Lids on 2 saucepans need replacing At $312 per night, I expect better
