The room was spacious and comfortable, our kids loved it. Friendly front desk staff, smooth check-in and check-out process. Well-maintained public facilities. Breakfast was standard, decent enough, though it could use a bit more variety. At first, we moved the bed ourselves in the room to make it safer for our kids. When housekeeping came in to clean, we were informed there would be an additional charge because the bed had been moved without permission. After we explained the reason (for our child’s safety after a minor fall), the hotel staff was very understanding and waived the charge. We really appreciated how professionally and empathetically the staff handled the situation.

We got free rooms upgrade and were given the convenience of getting adjacent rooms. The rooms were clean and spacious and the balcony was also spacious. The food was quite varied and delicious. The swimming pool was also proper to swim. Even though when we stayed there was construction around the pool, we could still swim comfortably in the morning. The staff at the swimming pool was also kind, I forgot his name, thank you sir for serving us very well. Only wifi is not working optimally in the balcony. But overall we are satisfied. 👍👍👍

The foods are tasty with reasonable price, car park is also spacious with free of valet service. Very recommended hotel for staycation on Yogyakarta, near to candi prambanan and candi ratu boko.

Also good the menu of breakfast, that opportunity to added other traditional menu of jogja, like gudeg, bakmi jowo I think. very recommended to everyone to stay and got nice experience in grand rohan. The service while check-in was very good and all staff were friendly. rooms is quite large and clean. The bed and pillows are good for sleeping. The breakfast menu is quite varied and tastes delicious

It was not clear what the meals are made of (especially those in the traditional section). The food in some sections seemed stale. The rooms need more surfaces to put stuff on! Under the TV there is a lot of underutilised space - you can easily squeeze a table there.

- Ami (9/5): We enjoyed our time at the hotel. Breakfast spread was great, the rooms are neat and clean just a bit outdated and need - I love the ambience of the hotel. Everything was neat and clean. The collection of the antiques were awesome. The breakfast were great and varied. But because at the time we’re visiting was new year’s holiday so the breakfast area was quite full and the foods were finished in a short time. Since we booked 2 rooms, actually we have different kind of reviews. The pavilion room which is located in front of the swimming pool was not really satisfying. The tiny kitchenette was a bit out of place and the chairs in front of the room sometimes was used by the pools visitors.

- Sergiu (3/5): Very noisy hotel - - Bed is okay, curtains are opaque, room was large, nice view and balcony - Staff was very friendly and helpful - The hotel is good if you follow the sharia law, otherwise best to avoid. - lack of respect for sleep and rest, speakers on the corridor are turned at max (you can hear peaking noise) to hear the prayers at 4:00 and 5:00 AM - on booking the hotel reports to have soundproofing, but there is no such thing, noise can be heard from the neighbors, from the outside, and from the speakers - the hotel hosted an event that started Sunday at 6:00 AM and there was constant noise in the morning - no hot water at the sink or the thing at the shower to wash your lower parts; warm water flows only from the shower above - found a cockroach on breakfast bread

- Rahul (9/5): It lives up to its name of being a grand hotel. - It’s location is excellent, being on the main road and prominently visible. The staff is courtesy personified and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The hotel has a luxurious look and feel about it, despite the modest room rates. Nothing to say, except to suggest that the bathroom have a shower curtain to avoid it becoming wet.

The location is near to everywhere but it’s still peaceful. I liked the food but for 2nd day, the taste is different. Maybe you can consider to change the menu.

The location is perfect if you are attending an event at the Jogja Expo Center. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I was able to get the rest I needed at the end of the day. The bathroom was spotless and well-appointed with fresh towels and toiletries. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with any questions or concerns I had during my stay. What really stood out to me was the attention to detail and personalized service. They made our participation in the ASEAN Tourism Forum as enjoyable as possible. I felt like a valued guest, and it made all the difference. Even the GM and the senior management staff gave full attention, especially during our hosted lunch event. Overall, I highly recommend Grand Rohan Jogja to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Yogyakarta. The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way, and I cannot wait to return in the future.
