Bianca (9/5): Gerne wieder - Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal. Da es keinen Aufzug gibt wurde mein schwerer Koffer ins Obergeschoss getragen. Ich hatte einen tollen Ausblick auf die Berge durch die bodentiefen Fenster. Des gibt eine Kofferablage, einen kleinen Kühlschrank und einen Schreibtisch. Auch eine Steckdose am Bett. Das Bad war modern. Das Frühstück konnte man sich zusammenstellen stellen über eine schriftliche Karte in Spanisch und Englisch. Ein Buffet gab es nicht.

Helen (10/5): Perfect hotel for 'a get away from it' all break. - Comfortable clean hotel with a first class restaurant. The family and staff were amazing. Perfect for walkers and birdwatchers. Hundreds of Griffon vultures on rock face opposite hotel. The 'go to' place for locals to enjoy a special meal. A bit tricky driving through the town if you are not used to narrow roads. You need to be aware that the restaurant is closed on 2 evenings but there is a cut price supermarket within walking distance for basics. There is a Mercadona in town but parking is a nightmare and best to avoid the underground car park!

Lawrence (10/5): Little Gem! - Hotel Sierra de Ubrique is a little gem. We booked one night to rest en route to our main holiday but we wished we could stay longer. Beautifully situated with mountain views. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Hot shower and handy fridge. The restaurant serves a good value menu and with a excellent range of dishes. Reasonably priced drinks. Can recommend the house red. We didn't get to try the pool as it was closed in April. Breakfast was delicious - a nice choice of hot food from a menu. Lovely friendly staff. Would definitely staff again if we find ourselves in the area. Nothing

Brian Rose (8/5): - The location was very good and we could securely park our motorcycles directly in front of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was not open on a Monday, but a short walk into town soon solved that issue.

Kai (10/5): Pleasant Stay with Great Views - We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Sierra Ubrique. The hotel is located in a quiet spot in the mountains, making it a good base for exploring the area and enjoying the nature. The mountain views are excellent. There is a nice hillside area right next to the hotel with fire pits, which is very convenient for a picnic. We stayed in a renovated superior room. It was clean, well-decorated, and featured a modern, large-screen TV. The staff was welcoming and helpful. We initially had an issue with the hot water, but after informing the reception, they addressed it immediately and the problem was resolved. En Instead of a buffet, breakfast is ordered from a menu. The food was fresh and of good quality. A solid choice in Ubrique. The combination of updated rooms, responsive service, and a beautiful natural setting made for a successful stay. I would recommend this hotel, especially the superior rooms. When we noticed a small issue with the hot water (likely due to recent renovations), the staff handled it immediately after we mentioned it, and the problem was solved quickly.

Tony (2/5): Personally I’d avoid this place, you could probably do better elsewhere - Can’t think of anything I liked about this place So i stayed on a Monday and the restaurant is shut, apparently I missed a little email telling me so. (Quite happy to advertise the restaurant and pool though) Honestly, I never stay in places where the restaurant is closed, after a long day riding the last thing I want to do is have to ride somewhere else for dinner. Breakfast was appalling too I’m afraid. I don’t expect much but the hotel did not provide anything other than coffee and toast to go with terrible dried scrambled eggs. Choose off a menu and everything is priced individually making it expensive. I walked to the supermarket to find some dinner and bought a salad which I then ate in the hotel courtyard. Swimming pool closed off too so no glass of wine by the pool in the beautiful weather. This is my experience so don’t read it as a moan. I couldn’t wait to leave and I’ll not be back. The check-in staff member did his best to smooth things over.

Everything was spotless, cozy, and authentic, with a peaceful atmosphere and a beautiful view of the mountains. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and both breakfast and dinner were excellent. There’s a large and convenient parking area, which was a big plus. The hotel is not in the city center, but that was exactly what we wanted — a quiet and relaxing stay. Highly recommended!

El desayuno también estaba muy bueno. Nos salió unos 5€ por persona, y el restaurante también tenía una oferta variada y la camarera nos atendió estupendamente. La ubicación nos pareció perfecta: a 5 min en coche del centro del pueblo, pero lo suficientemente alejado para que no hubiera ruido. Las camas podrían cambiarse, nos parecieron muy duras.

Maria Natalia (4/5): The worst hotel I have been lately! - A hotel far away from the city centre in a more or less quite area. The hotel did not have a lift, the stairs to the swimming pool being a completely disaster and quite dangerous. Nothing provided in the room (e.g.: shampoo, shower caps, water, tea, whatever... Notice that the refrigerator was even not plugged in!), only Spanish TV channels and all in Spanish. Finally, the personnel are not aimable and responsive.

I’m not a pool person, but spending some time at the pool side with a book and my girlfriend as the only company was nice. Yet, the pool is small and the area simple. No luxury, other the Mountain View and the quiet. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Kitchen ok. Not top notch. This hotel was still way better than many four and even five stars hotels I’ve stayed at.
