- Caroline (2/5): Décevant - La recherche de solution de l’hôte J’ai payé pour 2 nuit mais arriver dans la chambre il y avait du produit et l’odeur chimique s’était imprégnée dans la pièce. Sans compter le nombre de fourmis présente. Étant donner que je n’avais pas payer pour cela j’ai été très mécontente et déçu. J’ai demander remboursement et ça a été refuser. J’ai donc pu avoir une autre chambre qui malgres tout ne convenait pas et j’ai du négocier pendant un long moment. Au final j’ai pu dormir qu’une seule nuit et je me suis faite rembourser la deuxième. La deuxième chambre sentait moins le produit mais j’ai retrouvé des faux cils et des cheveux dans le lit ét dans la salle de bain. Je souligne quand même le professionnalisme et le faite qu’il est chercher des solutions pour nous satisfaire.
- Keith (10/5): Le vie du Phnom Penh! - This place radiates the charm of 1930’s French Indochina set in the vibrant heart of Phnom Penh. Curved wooden banisters, hinting at clandestine corners and old-world charm. Just up the street from the National Museum and a few minutes tuk-tuk travel to the Royal Palace. Walk the other way to many bars and local restaurants. So long as you’re ready for lots of spiraling stairs, nothing!
- Françoise (8/5): Bon séjour dans un super quartier. Un coup de neuf serait bienvenu... - Très bien situé, dans une rue en plein centre. Très grande chambre avec mezzanine, avec balcon donnant sur la rue. Grands lits très confortables. Les deux ou trois (jeunes) personnes qui gèrent l'accueil et le bar sont extra. Certains équipements ne sont pas fonctionnels, le mobilier (chaise ou tables) et installations sont parfois un peu vieillots et dégradés. L’ensemble de l'établissement mériterait un rafraîchissement.

- Carme (4/5): Un hostal decebedor amb una ubicació excel·lent - El gran avantatge era la ubicació a la ciutat, molt a prop del riu Tonle Sap, a tocar del Palau Reial i pràcticament davant del Museu de Phnom Penh, que és una delícia. Ni el noi de recepció de dia, ni l'hostal, força brutejat i sense encant, ni el preu, que considero car.

Washing machine and kitchenette ate the point. The internet is not good but OK. Bathroom is not comfortable at all. No sponge or soap to wash dishes. Fridge has leak. Some ants. AC placed awful. Shower faucet sprinkling in all possible directions. A bit noisy

C’est étroit, rouillé par endroit, un peu sale et mon papier toilettes etait très humide.

- Oscar (8/5): Good location. Good price and confort. - The location is great. Very close to the national museum, royal palace and the river. The room was comfortable. The coffee is good. Didn’t used it. But it was quite surprising to have a bath in the balcony. We were there during the weekend and the markets close the river is very nice for having dinner and see the ambiance of the city. Some mosquitoes in the room when we arrived. But they were finally nicer than expected 😅

Very convenient to walk to many sights and surrounded by great restaurants (local and tourist). The Royal Palace gardens and river walk at night were both an easy 5 minute walk away. The clothes washer did not work. But the staff washed our clothes for free because of the issue. The beds were in a loft up a short staircase. So if you have mobility issues, this might not work. But with the excellent location and staff…and most importantly, the excellent AC (!) we loved our stay.

The staircase to rooms was beautiful. The mattress was firm! But not lumpy-my back very much appreciated the comfort! Staff are so genuinely kind and helpful. We didn’t care, but there isn’t an elevator-fyi. My kids felt the AC was too cold.

Da ist eine Frau, die sich als Putzfrau, Managerin, Rezeption und Director ausgibt. Und von Ihnen kam auch kein Support, obwohl ich Ihnen mehrmals geschrieben habe! Hochachtungsvoll g.dinter

We stayed in the duplex for 4 people so the value for money wasn't too bad but I think the small rooms were a bit pricey compared to some other places we stayed in the same area.

- Sergii Gaponenko (10/5): - Находиться в 3 минутах от набережной. Комната двухъярусная: на втором этаже находиться кровать и там-же кондиционер. Постельное чистое. В номере есть холодильник, фен для волос, электрический чайник, чашки. Первое время в душевой был сильный запах канализации, но потом, после первого приема душа он исчез - может быть просто никто не жил в комнате и высохли водяные затворы канализации. В номере было тихо, соседей не слышно совсем. Тараканов нет, муравьев нет. Единственное: на втором уровне находиться кровать и потолок там низкий, нельзя стать и походить - нужно почти заползать - т.е. такой несколько не традиционный вариант для европейцев, но мне это не доставляло неудобств, скорее наоборот - прикольно. Персонал позитивный, всегда помогали, открывали дверь в отель даже поздно ночью с улыбкой. Я доволен !

- HELBLING (2/5): Très décevant. A notre retour, on vous enverra des photos - Seul l emplacement était agréable. Pres du Royal palace. L'entrée paraît sale. L escalier qui mène aux chambres, paraît sale. La chambre aussi, matelas par terre. Peinture des murs complètement décrépite. Porte de la salle de bain qui ne s ouvre pas en entier. Ambiance pas agréable de tout. 20 dollars pour cela, c'est très cher. La deuxième nuit nous avons changé d hôtel. Un surcout pour nous. Très très décevant.

It felt like being in a prison. There was mold in the bathroom, no hot water, and the drain overflowed. I killed a giant cockroach, too. You can find a better place in town for this price. It should be more like 10 dollars a night here.

The door didn’t lock properly so there’s felt unsafe. The air one unit was Brocken held together with tape and had to be permanently on and was extremely cold as it was directly above the beds. The shower flooded everywhere and there was ants all over the ground floor in the room.

Friendly Staff: The staff were consistently polite, helpful, and welcoming throughout my stay. Convenient Cafeteria: There’s a cafeteria on the ground floor, which was a nice perk. I enjoyed being able to simply head downstairs for a coffee without needing to leave the building. Severe Water Issues: Unfortunately, this was a major downside. Out of the seven nights I stayed, five nights had no running water. Even during the day, the water would sometimes stop working, requiring me to go downstairs to report it and wait for it to be fixed. Faulty Laundry Amenities: The washing machine’s dryer function didn’t work at all, making it essentially unusable.

- Renata (7/5): Good - The staff was kindly waiting for us when we arrived past midnight although hotel doors close at 10pm. Good hot shower and Wi-Fi. Air con light but enough. The room is small and on 2 levels, pay attention to your head on the upper floor if you are over 1,6mt (5.25feet).

Cleanliness, comfort…beds were very uncomfortable, had water leaking through floor on 3rd night, noise from people passing on stairs outside room, cafe below was a students homework get together. The accommodation was very dated and needed some attention and proper cleaning.

- Hirok (7/5): Great Location - Prime location. Walking distance to Tonle Sap, Independence Square, Central Market, Night Market, main Wat. Great for family with kids, with provided facilities Friedly staff with ready to help attitude. The accommodation has seen better days and is in need of renovation. For us both bathroom knobs were inoperative, which was fixed by the staff a day later. The oven cum hotplates were inoperative might be even shorting. The staff got it replaced from the one in another room.
- Kenneth (9/5): Good place to stay in one of the best places in the world. - Location is right next to the center, a quick walk to the old market and river cafes, but quiet. The staff are super nice. I rented a scooter 3 doors towards the center for $6 per day. It's all one needs to tour all the sights. There's little traffic so it's safe, but the distances are too long for a bicycle.
- Stefanie (4/5): Disappointing - The room was equipped with air conditioning. There was water-refill available and hot water, but downstairs. Sadly none of the rooms have windows (None!) and you feel like in a bunker. The air conditioning is pre-set and you dont have a control to change it. Also the "free" things you are promised (Coffee, tea, water kettle) are not included.

- Paramisuli (8/5): Very good - The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The stay was great for the value of money. Its near and walkable to the sites to visit - Museum, Palace, Night Market, River Cruise.
- John (5/5): Adequate for a night or two if you don't mind stairs. - Good location, friendly staff, quiet room with a safe. It's adequate for one or two nights on a budget, although the price was not especially good value. The room was dark, and, the mezzanine bed (a mattress on the floor) had a very low ceiling. There was a smell of damp in the room. The WIFi was intermittent.

- Glenn (4/5): Disappointing - The room is clean and quiet. The problem is that it was on the 4th floor which is quite a hump for somebody in their 1970s. There is no cable TV, nor means available to plug an HDMI cable into the screen. There is a safe, which the manager never managed to show me how to open. The safe is not fastened to anything and an intruder could simply walk out with it. Most of the above. The management were indifferent. But, one gets what they pay for.

- Elena (5/5): Only good location...very dated hotel - Location & the bed was quite firm and comfy. Unfortunately, I would like to like this place for the nice guy at the reception but I cannot do it. My room was at the 4th floor, with no elevator...and it is a problem when you have a heavy baggage. Also, the hotel is quite dated and the bathroom smell of mould. The power of the shower is quite bad. I have also tried to book a tuk tuk to the airport but they told me they were not able to do it. I was surprised x the high score of this hotel...but for the same money you can find a better place. No option x breakfast. The team is made by students and it is quite young, so the customer service is quite low.

- Boris (8/5): Very good - Very spatial and comfortable room, ac, refrigerator, only the washing machine was broken, but the staff helped me. Nice balcony, quiet, although at a crowded location. I liked it! Some parts were a bit run down, but no problem at all. No breakfast option.
- Mauro (1/5): Very bad experience - N/A The hotel is in an extreme decadent status and need urgent repairs, from cracks in the walls to electrical cables to mold. Rooms are far from suitable for customers, on the first night I was woken up but bedbugs bites and when I turned on the light there were multiple cockroaches. Minor of the issues there is no lift for 4+floors. The staff that works there is very young, not sure if underage, but very kind and nice, although powerless in front of all the trouble that customers faces. To be avoided. Can't believe that booking.com doesn't put this down.

- Sandra (10/5): Would definitely recommend, and would stay here again on my next trip! - The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond to help us when our transport didn't arrive for our pick up. The room was large and well equipped, and I loved having a washing machine to do a load without having to go out to do it! There were two bathrooms with two full showers, which was nice. The location was perfect - close to restaurants, etc, but not right on the main strip (a five minute walk down the road). Having a coffee shop on the main floor is a bonus - great iced Americanos! The one bathroom's shower did not have hot water, but the other one did. I suggest making that known beforehand (it made for a cold first shower :). The second shower worked perfectly though!
