- HUGH (10/5): PORT VENDRES IS A GEM ON THE FRANCO-SPANISH BORDER. - I was delighted with my recent stay in Port Vendres, a delightful coastal town which I had never visited before, only travelled through on the train, many years ago en route to Spain, coming from Narbonne and Perpignan. The scenery is absolutely stunning, especially when the sun is shining. I had wonderful views from my room, with lovely sunrises and sunsets and it's so nice to see the diverse flora, including cacti, palm trees and gorgeous flowers during the Spring. My bedroom and bathroom were very clean and comfortable as well as the rest of the hotel. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is delicious and with a good variety of food. A big 'Thank you' to everyone, I hope to stay here again one day. No complaints at all.

- Monique (8/5): séjour agréable - à l'arrivée nous avons eu la surprise d'avoir été surclasser avec chambre terrasse vu mer et piscine , l'emplacement très bien pas loin du port on y aller à pied, ça monte un peu mais c'est faisable, le petit déjeuner il y avait ce qu'il fallait en plus au bord de la piscine, personnel très sympa et à l'écoute, le petit snack de la piscine très agréable on a pu prendre le bain eau à 27 la piscine rien à dire avec cette vue sur port vendre génial. petit bémol l'odeur d'égout dans la chambre vraiment pas agréable heureusement on pouvait laisser ouvert

- Dominique (8/5): agréable - La suite était impeccable, il n'y avait pas de bruit malgré la proximité de la voie ferrée et de la route sur les hauteurs, les équipements très bien, et la literie très confortable. Sur le moment, la voie ferrée, mais finalement je n'ai pas été gêné par le bruit, les chambres sont bien insonorisées.

- Lynn (1/5): a disappointment - The shower, the bed. Deceptive advertising. Room We reserved a room with a sea view, for a fee above the standard rate. We were allocated a room with not even a partial sea view. We had an only a sliver of a sea view because the view was blocked by two massive trees. They were quite beautiful, but not what we paid extra for. We were offered another room with a beautiful sea view,but for ab extra fee again. It was pointed out to us that we were getting a special rate for this secondroom only available to people who booked in advance. We had booked in advance. The simple fact was if we wanted to look at anything other than tree, bark and branches during our stay, we had no choice but to pay extra for it. We were not given an option to cancel the booking, which we would have gladly done. Restaurant We had looked forward to a gastronomic few days at this hotel. After booking (nonrefundable) we received an email from the hotel explaining that their kitchen would be closed for all but one night of our three night stay. If we had known this, we would not have booked. Incidentally, there is no mention of this closure on the hotel website nor on booking.com Location The hotel is sandwiched between a highway and a railroad track

El desayuno estaba muy bien, aunque demasiado caro, 2 personas son más de 38 euros. El confort en las habitaciones, la calefacción no era la adecuada, hacia frio en los pasillos y en el baño, la habitacion no estaba muy bien climatizada tampoco. la iluminacion de los pasillos. Habitacion demasiado pequeña, es complicado desenvolverse bien dos personas.

- Marie (9/5): - Depuis plus de 33ans l'hôtel a beaucoup changé. Les propriétaires en ont fait au fil du temps un petit paradis qui est devenu un passage annuel incontournable pour toute la famille.

- Claudia Nario (8/5): Bonitas habitaciones, algo pequeñas, parking incluido. - La decoración de la habitación es muy bonita, el baño es moderno y muy cómodo, y desde el balcón se alcanzaba a ver el mar. La cama y las almohadas estaban muy bien. La posibilidad de poder aparcar al lado del hotel también es muy cómoda. La habitación me pareció un poco pequeña, y la verdad es que la ubicación no es tan buena pues debes caminar su trecho para llegar al pueblo, salvo que reserves una de las habitaciones con balcón y vista más frontal al mar. Una de las recepcionistas me pareció poco amable, y la otra, más maja, no hablaba una palabra de inglés.

Chambre minuscule, mal placée à côté de l entrée et du passage des femmes de ménage, le chauffage très bruyant empêchant de dormir...le prix excessif 3 nuits avec petits déjeuners presque 800€ ce n est pas justifié même en cette période...le parking très limité et pas sécurisé 😏.

- Thierry (10/5): - Nous avons séjourné du 10 au 12. Malgré le fait que nous soyons en trés basse saison, tout était parfait : l'accueil, le service, la restauration. La chambre dans le nouveau batiment avec balcon et vue sur le port était superbe bien equipée avec cafetiere et bouilloire. En résumé de belles prestations. La voie de chemin de fer en dessous de l'hotel mais comme la chambre etait bien insonorisée ca n'a pas été genant.
- 410yolandam (2/5): Very unpleasant stay - Clogged toilet, leaking water and unusable. They said it was impossible to have it repaired bc the technitian was out of working hours, and no satisfactory solution was offered. Cold room. There was only a heat pump, which did not provide enough warmth even when set to the maximum. In the morning we had to rely on the bathroom heater. At 9 a.m., the shower water was not hot. It was lukewarm, insufficient for a shower in December. Humiliating and arrogant treatment from the morning supervisor on the day of our departure, Sunday, 7 December 2025. She told us that the toilet had become clogged because toilet paper had been used. She said this rudely while we were having breakfast, and walked away without allowing any possibility of dialogue. It should be noted that there was no sign indicating that this toilet could not accept toilet paper. She also said, again in a rude manner, that the room was warm enough in the morning; she did not even let us respond that this was only thanks to the noisy bathroom heater. Unsurprisingly, she said nothing about the lack of hot water. Humiliating and arrogant behaviour. The receptionist, on the other hand, was very kind and attentive. I suggested a complimentary breakfast as compensation, before the unfortunate intervention of the supervisor. We felt disrespected.
- E Koklu (10/5): - The view of the room was excellent. The hotel was very clean and modern. The staff at the reception and restaurant were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was ok for the price. You have instantly squeezed fresh orange juice included. Nothing.
- ignacio (1/5): Insatisfactòria. - El cafè de l'esmorzar. Els pancakes de l'esmorzar. La pàgina web. 1- WC embossat, perdent aigua, i que no es podia utilitzar. Impossibilitat de que ens el reparéssin i no ens van donar cap solució satisfactòria. 2- Fred a l'habitació. Només hi havia una bomba de calor que no arribava a escalfar suficient, tot i que la varem posar al màxim. Al matí varem haver de completar amb el calefactor del bany. 3- A les 9h del matí l'aigua de la dutxa no sortia calenta. Tèbia, insuficient per una dutxa al mes de Desembre. 4- Tracte humiliant i amb sobèrbia de la supervisora del matí del dia de marxada, el Diumenge 7 de Desembre 2025. Ens va dir que el WC estava embossat perque es va fer servir paper higiènic. Ho va dir de mala manera mentres estavem esmorzant, i va marxar parlant sense opció de diàleg amb ella. Cal esmentar que no hi havia cap nota que avisés que aquell WC no acceptava paper higiènic. També ens va dir de mala manera que la habitació al matí estava prou calenta: no ens va ni deixar respondre que va ser gràcies al calefactor sorollós del bany. Evidentment no va dir res de l'aigua calenta. Tracte humiliant i amb sobèrbia. La recepciónista en canvi molt amable i atenta. Li vaig suggerir una compensació d'esmorzar gratuït, abans de la penosa intervenció de la supervisora. Ens varem sentir menyspreats.
